The cashier there was amazing to talk to. He was laughing and smiling all the time talking to me and my granddaughter. Also the lady that was out watering and checking on the plants was also sweet. We enjoyed our visit and shopping here

Nice to see a hardware store thats not home depot or Menards thats flourishing! Great people, very friendly and helpful. Decent selection. Great pricing on the M8x1.25 tap I needed. Most other stores wanted anywhere from $10-$15, they have Irvin for under $6 out the door!

Its a great hardware store for alot of household repairs. The prices are reasonable and its my go to place for emergency repairs.

My experience there has always been top drawer. No complaints here. Allison seems to be an excellent manager, patient and very helpful. The prices are higher than an other store I could use but my experience keepse coming back.

You are gonna pay more, but its convenient for a lot of people. Everyone who works there couldnt be nicer, and there is always someone asking if you need help. I go there just because of the how great the employees are.

Secor is our go to hardware store close to home. They have a wide selection of tools, lumber, plumbing, electrical and other fittings, a nice rental list and provide good service. Prices may be higher than the box store and selection smaller but they actually employ people who know what they are talking about at secor.

Great selection, but certain staff need a bit more education. Prices a bit high compared to discount stores but right in line on lumber products. They also rent equipment that may not be available elsewhere.

For a relatively small hardware store they seldom let me down. They have a wide variety of the things you need.

Very Hometown feeling when you go to this store

A nice local hardware store that stocks many of the smaller unusual odd and ends that the bigger places pass over. They have always had what Im looking for and have great hours of operation. The layout of the store can be confusing for new people but there are helpful staff around willing to assist you.

One of the most service oriented hardware stores Ive ever shopped at. If youre not exactly sure about what you need for a project, the staff is ready to help and answer questions. None of this, I think its on aisle 19, stuff. The walk you there and answer any questions you may have.

I have done a little business with this company. I have had to special order two items and both times the items came in wrong. The first time they reordered it. The second time was for cabinets and they came in without the soft close drawers. This was over a thousand dollar purchase and, do you know what they did? They gave me the correct parts (the drawer glides) and told me to install them. Ha I think now, if I wanted to build them I would have. They have now lost a whole kitchen sale.I say use them for the little things that are in stock, but when It comes to special orders go else where.

Convenient, good stock availability, and the employees are about 100 times more helpful and knowledgeable than a typical Lowes or Home Depot. The general quality of things sold seems to be significantly better than the big name stores, and the prices are very reasonable.

Never been to a hardware and building materials store that didnt have a 2x4 before coming here today.

Everything is over priced. Lowes and Home Depot are far cheaper.

This was my first visit but it will not be my last. I live in Oswego but I have Drs in Newrak NY and I sometimes work there. Asking a friend of mine a place I could shop in Newark looking for a gift, she suggested Secors. drove to the Wegmans Plaza on Rte 31 and saw a hardware store, it was Secors, thinking this is not what I was looking for but went in any way. Stepped throught he doors...and I was in Awe ....the beautiful Christmas displays and items for sale...unbelievable ....and the prices were so right. I know I will be shopping there a lot...I found more than what I wanted, very unique items ...this place should have a place in my hometown. And the people there were so accomidating, friendly and the young girl that bagged my things went above and beyond what I expected. Each item wrapped in colorful tissue paper but also boxed up in boxes fitting for each item. Newark is lucky.
