I am currently on hold now for 1hr waiting forever for someone to answer… I’m not feeling well and want to make sure the right prescriptions are ready before I send my husband in. They have been picking up the phone, not saying anything and placing it back on hold…I’m not sure what needs to be done for these people in the pharmacy to consider the customers but this is ridiculous… Every time I call this happens and I have to call the floor and have someone tell them to pick up… I used to work for Walgreens and this was not acceptable… we would have to pick up after no more than two rings at least to acknowledge the customer. Please pick your phones up there are sick people out here waiting to get assistance

Dirty place to be...the staffs at the pharmacy are so not trained...so unprofessional..just to take 2nd those I spend an 1hr plus...I will never visit again...been here since 1:30pm to 2:24pm..still yet no vaccine..this is crazy

I have always loved going to Walgreens. I am able to get my prescriptions filled and by household products along with personal needs.

The pharmacy refuses to answer the phone and instead just picks up the line and places you back on hold. People are trying to get their medication and should be treated with more professionalism and respect than what’s provided here.

Is discastin really darty and pharmacy are rud all of then. And nobody speke other languages its never nobody available to help with anything some times when you are stop by the drive true the enomos rats past by. Its. Good location they have to do better .

I am literally calling the pharmacy from 2 different phones. I called and was on hold for 20 minutes before someone hung up the line. PATHETIC!NOW ON HOLD AGAIN, thank GOD its not an emergency. Smh

One of the most ubiquitous stores in my neighborhood. Easy to walk to. Many items are available at competitive prices and reasonable quality. Pharmacy available on the premises. ATM is usually present. Discounts are often available for members.

The store never wants to put anything on the clearance shelf.Dont let the holidays come around. You can forget about saving a few bucks.Today I went in there and the clearance shelf was blocked by another shelve.Pathetic and ghetto, this location used to be worst.Its gotten better since I started calling headquarters over the years.For instance, pretending the bathroom doesnt work for customers.Only hiring Africans and young folks, I just wish these stores wouldnt just hire other people from native countries to oppress us in an already oppressive and depressing, and distressing area.I only saw one older black American working in those stores in Newark and Irvington.The rest is foreigners and young kids.What keeps me going in this unjust society of ours is the hope.The hope of Christ Jesus returns for his people.returns for his people.

Walgreen-Bergen St., Newark, NJ...Friendly, helpful, courteous, professional staff. Willing to go that extra mile in addressing your needs.I really love this store, they are so respectful and to me they feel like family. The store manager does a great job to ensure customer satisfaction by making your shopping experience at Walgreen-Bergen St. is what you deserve, reasonable prices, items easily found, staff available and helpful. Store is always clean and organized.Now, your pharmacy dept. is all that and more. Sometimes lines are long but they work proficiently to get customers in and out with a smile.

The cashier was so slow like a snail crossing the road. This is how slow she was: one of the employees open another register and he ran 5 customers and she still with the first one. What a frustration for a person that is getting out of work for a quick stop to the pharmacy and it ending in wasting over 45 minutes just in line

Wonderful site manager, Mr. Mom. I took off one start for the never ending long lines. Lines are always long no matter what time of day you come.

Not organized, people don’t answer the phone and everybody always have attitudes. Been calling my package for 3 days and no one answers the phone.

I really like this Walgreens. But why does it always smell like an old mans dirty diaper when I walk in here. I dont understand. Aside from that the staff is helpful and they usually have what Im looking for. The smell though it doesnt make sense. Smh

I will still give this place a five star because of the day shift manager. Hes very friendly and he works well with his staff and helps his customers in every way he can. As for the night manager! Ummm he needs to take notes from the day shift guys.

Great store but the pharmacy needs work. They are slow and inconsistent. Walgreens is my go-to store to find Red Vines. Would give 4 stars if it werent for the pharmacy.

The service is horrible, not because of the employees but because of the management and owners. Too short staff, this location needs more employees. If you need assistance the staff cant be in two places at the same time. This is not a Walgreens only issue its an issue with this demographic. They look at there revenue and gains per quarter and make decisions instead of whats best for the community. Hope someone does something in the mean time even though i live down the block from many businesses i will happily spend my money in another demographic because i hate having to wait on long lines with little to no staff. Give people jobs so there is more maybe a greater service and value with a customer presents his or herself. Get rid of the armed guards as well not a good look.

Nice store. However, the Pharmacy is terrible its extremely slow and the Spanish guy is the only one hustling i once saw him servicing customers waiting in line and drive customers thru alone!!

This automated service “we’re sorry, our staff is answering other calls. Please hold on and we’ll be with you shortly” must have been on repeat. I don’t like the elevator music but I would prefer that than this lady repeating the same thing with no hope of ANYONE EVER ANSWERING THE DAMN CALL. I feel so sad for extremely ill patients trying to get a prescription from this place.

I hope this review goes to the right person. Terrible experience with photos. Used the app and received the email with the confirmation. Went to the store not only the pictures wasn’t ready it took another hours to get ready.When I complained got attitude from employees...

Horrible customer service, no one can answer a simple question. Also, no one works in the photo department, if you get transferred no one answers.

I hate the fact that an actual person doesn’t answer the phone the automated voice is not very helpful in regards to finding a prescription

The cashier couldnt even do her damn job and apply the coupons to the stuff I was buying after using the card. Had no other choice but to pay full price.

I thought that Bergen street open at 8 a.m

I called the pharmacy, waited 25 minutes for someone to answer, hung up. Called back, waited 10 minutes, hung up. Called again and tried to get someone on the floor to help me, he transferred me to the pharmacy. Its been 10 minutes and this waiting music is going to drive me insane.

I like this Walgreens. Its clean, the staff are friendly, there is always a security guard on the premises. the only thing I would change is the pan-handlers in the parking lot. I could do without it.

This Walgreens Pharmacy is the worst. I always get told that my pills with be ready in 30 minutes to an hr an end up getting it in about 4 hrs. Need to get it together an they never answer the phone

The pharmacy never responds and I have been for 4 days trying to get my medicine and they never respond and they have never given me my medicine, while my health continues to suffer and they collect their salary without providing an excellent service for their clients.

I love this pharmacy, the only bad thing is that it is a bit far from home to walk
