Without a doubt the best bagel shop in Newark and quite possibly the best bagel shop in Delaware. Great Bagels, Great variety of cream cheese, great sandwiches and friendly staff. Theres a reason that when students are back on campus the the line goes out the door.

Probably one of the best places to get a breakfast sandwich in Newark but that’s not saying anything special due to the lack of options in the area. Certainly way better than Wawa. But don’t use the online ordering, you will end up standing there like a clown watching several people who come in and order their food (hot or cold) after you and get it long before they remember to do anything with online orders

NDB is a great place to get that bagel that youve been craving. Their bagel with cream cheese and lox is fairly reasonably priced and jam packed with flavor. and it comes with a pickle! Their wraps come with fries and are decently sized for a lunch meal. Fair prices and excellent customer service! Love going here with a friend or two for some late breakfast on a Sunday.

You can get a pretty darn good breakfast sandwich here but the prices are a little steep and the wait for your food can be excruciatingly long. Certainly the best Ive had near the University of Delaware campus.

I have been going here for many years. My wife and I love their fresh bagels, and their sandwiches for lunch are fantastic. Hardly a week passes by that I am not at Newark Deli and Bagels for either bagels or a sandwich. They are definitely worth the time to visit on Main Street, and a must go restaurant for breakfast or lunch in Newark. Great service and great food!

I went to the University of Delaware so this was a staple in my diet for the time I was there. I make it a point to go here anytime Im back in the area.No frills bagel/Deli with good prices and fresh food and bagels. Ive never had a bad meal there. That being said, expect to wait a bit if school is in session. Us Blue Hens Love this place!

I adore this place a lot. there is a happy feeling. The cuisine is exeptionaly good. the service is effective and the crew is well trained. The cost is fair. truly recommend.

This is a good place to get a bagel and possibly a soft drink but thats all. There bagels here are excellent and reasonably priced. However, their sandwiches are expensive for what you are getting. The same could be said for their frappe spin-off. I would recommend the egg bagel with cream cheese and strawberry jelly. The customer service is average at best.

Bagels are pretty good and there are many options for schmears and proteins. Prices are pretty reasonable and location is great. There is plenty of seating but almost a of it is 2 person tables. The place could use better lighting and sweeping.

Best bagel sandwich in Newark.I used to live off of their egg white, cheese, and tomato on an everything bagel every morning for nearly 5 years. It would all melt together into a wonderful, warm medley of flavors wrapped in tinfoil. It was the perfect way to start the day in class!There could be a really long line depending upon the time of day you go in, so make sure you leave yourself some extra time - dont be in a rush because parking can really be challenging along Main St. as well.

I try and try again to give this place the benefit of the doubt. We are here on a weekly basis, simply because of proximity. 9/10 times your order will be wrong. 10/10 times your hot bagel sandwich will be warm, at best. If you are in line, place an order, you are not guaranteed to get the bagel you asked for. If they get to other orders before you that were after you, they will give them your bagel. Most days they are out of certain bagels. They dont seem to restock ever. They need an overhaul of management and operations. Their process does not work.

Always a good time going here. Definitely the hotspot for college kids on a weekend, but excellent breakfast and lunch. Highly recommend their scooped out chicken salad! Everything is made to order so its always hot. Make sure you have time to wait!

Absolutely love this place and I go here all the time. Its great for breakfast, specifically breakfast sandwiches on their signature bagels. When its busy, they can be pretty slow, but overall it is definitely one of the best spots on main street.

Used to be a great joint with great food. Food is average now, the poor employees arent trained well, and tried ordering something posted on their board and they tried to charge me double. Also Sunday midmorning, barely any bagel selection. It wasnt that busy yet. Under prepared? Used to be my go to for breakfast, guess Im going somewhere else.

Ive been here many times, best bagel on main Street (not saying much), but if you come too late in the morning on a weekend, youll end up waiting 30 minutes. Inside is small and Its tight trying to wait. Its one of those placed that gets so busy that the workers turn to robots. Also the prices seem to have increased recently, seriously just go to a diner. Itll take the same amount of time and youll have a better breakfast.

The wait time is too long, and you can see the employees grab the bagels without gloves on. Overpriced and food quality isn’t great either, not worth the wait and money. Seems like the employees never know what they’re doing.

Highly overhyped. Bagels are fine - nothing special about them. The line is always super long and it takes over 20 minutes to get a bagel with cream cheese. This has happened to us every time weve been there! Staff isnt super helpful either.

Had a rocky day last week and received the incorrect order. The owner was awesome and offered to replace the order next time I came in. I have been back several times since then. Todays order was beyond delicious! Bagel was piping hot when I left and was still hot when I got to work to eat it. Keep up the good work!Ps, Im a bagel snob from North Jersey and hard to impress... Very busy. Food served in Styrofoam and aluminum foil. They were out of stock on a number of items. My cheese omelet was good. Good to grab a quick bite.

Grabbed bagels and coffee with the family. Counterperson was pleasant and got our orders in quickly as my wife waffled on her choice. Food came in minutes, the table was clean and the bagels great. Will be back.

Waited 25 minutes for an order that came out in 3 different parts. It was also screwed up. Ive been here twice and both times have been similar situations. Also, the cashier wasnt very knowledgeable.

Used to be awesome, but called in an order in order to avoid long lines - got there and was told to wait in line anyways. We cant manage two long lines.Fair. If customer service isnt a priority Im happy to go elsewhere.

NDB is hands down the greatest establishment in the small college town of newark delaware. every morning, regardless of weekday and weekend, you can expect lines (well worth the wait) around the perimeter of the store for some of the worlds most scrumptious bagels. whatever kind of bagel you prefer, and whatever you like on it, this is a cant miss and a staple of the university of delaware!
