Great people and service. I went there to install new tires. They took a while, but that was because they made sure everything to do with the wheels were in good condition. Loved the price and service they provided and will be returning to get other work done

This place was amazing Jose and his team put is together we were visiting the big city from Ohio and breaks snapped Jose and his team got us in no problem got it done fast and right let kids watch Netflix very comfy vibe felt at home ordered us food just was the best service ever the receptionist was wonderful I have nothing but good to say if they had ten star button is push it

My car got diagnosed of other stuff I wasn’t aware of which would have left me stranded on the highway if I didn’t meet this divine team. Went in for road force balancing for a used car which I had bought recently. The car was vibrating at high speed of 75-80mph. Had sought prior appointment for wheel balancing. Reached on time. Service was quick. Price was reasonable. Test drove the car and the problem has been fixed!

Waited for 10-15 minutes in the hot sun, no one came to speak to me to ask me what I wanted or if I needed any help. Theres all there was also barely any signage outside to find or locate the place it was hard to find.

They were quick. $40 for a used tire. Excellent price

Hit a pothole this morning on the highway and needed to replace it. Called up and they had the tire and everything was taken care of in 40mins. Always buy road hazard for your tires living in NJ. Great place when it comes to having my tires done. Been a customer for atleast 3yrs now. My go to for my tires.

Ive been searching around for an honest mechanic/shop after my previous mechanic decided to close his. Did a google search, found this shop nearby with good reviews, and set an appointment. I visited the shop to swap out my winter tires and get an Oil change.They did a great job with swapping out my tires (included was the high speed tire balancing) and even wrapped up my tires to bring back home in my car. I can tell their customer service is top priority over there. They even provide services such as storing your seasonal tires at the shop without a fee, or provide rides to and from your job if you decide to have your car fixed while at work. They are professional with their work, honest, and fair with their prices (without trying to sell you unnecessary work on your vehicle). Ill definitely be coming back to this shop to get work done on my vehicle.

I had a nail in my tire, didnt have an appointment, I was just passing by this place, stopped there, they pulled the nail out, said the tire is fine and didnt even charged me for it. I asked what should I pay them, they said nothing. Ive never imagined people Ive this and businesses like that still exist. Im so grateful to you !!!

I went my first time here to have a single tire replaced and was astounded by the great service and friendly staff. The second time around, I needed 4 tires installed, balanced and a four wheel alignment performed. Milly, who is terrific by the way, took me in last second and accommodated me no problem! My car seats were even covered in plastic to prevent the techs from staining them with oil on there clothes.... thats Mercedes Benz dealer attention to detail!!!! I CAN NOT RECOMMEND THIS PLACE ENOUGH! you will not be disappointed!

I cant provide 6(six) stars so five (5) will suffice. I was referred to the shop 10 years ago and that has to be the best referral ever. They are honest and provide great service with the honesty.Ive come in requesting repairs on parts that are not needed. Im a hypochondriac for car repair. Jose keeps it real and lets me know, No, not time instead of seeking monies for a repair not needed and takes his time to diagnose the true issue, which typically costs a fraction of my original request.Ive had the same car for 10 years and now Ill pass it to my kid, all because Ive kept the same shop and the same team that knows my car like their own. Wouldnt trade my mechanic for nothing. Having a great mechanic is like marrying the right man, the man of your dreams. Love, love the shop and Milly is the backbone to the shop. Just a spectacular place that knows what they are doing. Ive gotten dinners because of my referrals, they are so thankful and want to reward me for sending them to Elsy Discount Tire Pros.

They fixed what was wrong with my truck, the tires were reasonable, and I will use them in the future if I ever have any problems with my vehicle at work. You know its a shame this didnt show up when I was sitting in their parking lot. I would have had some photographs.

This was by FAR the best experience I have ever had at a tire shop. The entire staff was so friendly and knowledgeable and were willing to answer all of my questions patiently and completely. The prices were fair and the service was fast. I would recommend this shop over any others in Newark if you value good people and good service!

Caught a flat near exit 15E on the turnpike and found this place, so we gave it a try and they provided us with excellent service! We went in to replace the tire completely and they were able to patch it up and saved us over $300. Thank you so much!!! You guys were absolutely amazing and super helpful!

This was my first experience with Elsy and I assure it will not the the last. A friend recommended me their service. I have a KIA Sedona minivan and had a problem on the power sliding doors. I went to three different places before I left my car with Elsy. Everyone told me I had to change the motor, including a KIA dealer. I didn’t believe them because the problem was in both doors and it is highly unlikely to happen this way. Then I took the car to Elsy. For the first time somebody told me both motors were fine, and it was just a matter of properly aligning the doors. The service was done in one hour for a fraction of the price other places wanted to charge me. This is what I was looking for, somebody I could trust. Elsy guys were honest, and charged me a fair price for their service. I strongly recommend their services with no restriction. At Elsy you will find people you can trust. My thumbs up go to Jose, the manager, and to Milly, the service associate. They are not located in a fancy location nor their place is the best looking repair shop, but they have all they need in there and overall they have honest and serious people willing to help you. They have a new client with me!

Great price, quick service and most importantly knowledgeable to work on Tesla where I had a screw in the middle of a tire that also has noise reducing foam liner (SoundComfort). It takes extra effort to patch these types of tires and Tesla as well as Firestone and even other smaller shops turned me down and only offered expensive replacement. Great pricing on new tires as well, will be back to replace all four before winter

I needed an alignment and they were jam packed, they allowed me to leave my car at 12 pm but said it would likely be done the next day, they called at 11 am to let me know it was ready, I don’t live far, so as I’m walking there one of the mechanics noticed me while he was driving and drove me the rest of the way to the mechanic shop. great customer service and great staff.

Elsy tire and auto is simply the best! I have a 2002 mustang and they brought my baby back to perfect condition. My first time going here I changed my fuel pump and they were kind enough to drive me to work the days I didnt have my car. They also are very informative and call you about anything you should be informed on about your vehicle. This is my second time doing business with them and I went in for a lot of work I changed my shocks and struts, inner and outer tie rods, lower ball joints, front sway bar links and I also needed a new compressor and fan speed switch (which they diagnosed to be bad cause I had AC problems) for my wonderful mustang. They got all this work done 2 days!!! Thats right on the second day my mustang was ready!! This place is simply the best I trust the mechanics here to the fullest. Such a great crew! Dont waste your time going elsewhere or going to a cheaper/ sketchy mechanic. Elsy is the real deal for car repairs plus they have warranty on the parts and labor. Couldnt be happier :)

I brought a new set of wheels to them for mounting and balancing. Two of the four wheels had indents and little scratches where the mounting machine made contact to the inner barrel. They said it was completely normal, but the other two wheels were fine. The price is great though.

Great Service, was very fast to order a custom tire! SAME DAY (like 2hrs!) Was honest and reasonably priced. I didnt even have much time to sit and wait! In and out in 15 minutes! AMAZING! I will be using them for any tire /auto issues I have in the future!

I love these guys! You will probably not find a bad review on them because they are refreshingly on point from their professional etiquette to their courtesy and manners. They do great work in a timely fashion and keep you updated. Even if they were expensive (and they are not), Elsy is absolutely worth it. Bring your car troubles to them, you will not regret it!

This was probably the best and fastest experience I ever had with any auto service. My splash guard under my car was cracked and hanging and they fixed it in less than 30 minutes! The staff was very laid-back, friendly and professional. And I wasnt charged an arm and a leg for it either. I appreciate their timeliness in taking care of my car since I had a doctors appointment I needed to be at. Highly recommend these guys.

She knew exactly what to do for me to use my warranty and explained how that works making my experience painless. Jose as well is super friendly. Very courteous and professional. They were the only local shop able to get my tires delivered the same day. They have a waiting area with high speed WiFi, coffee and a microwave which made waiting a pleasure since I could do my work while waiting. The guy doing my tires brought me to my car to show me the work he was doing and some things to keep an eye out for. I loved these guys!

This place could not have been better. We were on the Turnpike on our way to Mohegan Sun on a Saturday. Getting towed off the Turnpike is a nightmare, no one but the Turnpike Authority will come get you. While we were waiting for them to come we called several tire places, and Elsy’s was by far the most helpful, they listened to our dilemma, we gave them the 2 tires we needed (forgot to mention we hit a pot hole so big it blew both my passenger side tires out) and had them there when we arrived. In and out of Elsy’s in 45 minutes, and the price was very reasonable, I expected it to be double. The guys there are top notch and professional, I would recommend them to everyone, without reserve. Honest and friendly hell get you sorted and on your way without you feeling ripped off. They are professional, knowledgeable, and accommodating. I drove all the way to Newark on my tiny, temp tire during Thanksgiving weekend because they were one of the few who were open and would take me in with no appointment. Milly worked me into their schedule and provided a competitive and reasonable price, even compared to the dealer and some other tire shops during non-holiday times, which was enough to persuade me to fix my flat during that off-time rather than the following week. Jose was also great, as he was courteous and helpful explaining what were the tire/warranty options and what I purchased.

I came in to check out my brakes which werent feeling very responsive and were squeaking. Jose and his team were thorough and honest, telling me my brake pads and rotors were actually in excellent condition. While other auto repair shops might try to sell me new brakes, Jose suggested a simple adjustment and fixed my brakes responsiveness for free. One of the techs found a broken wheel stud and he also had that fixed free of charge. The service and courtesy here is unbelievable. I will not hesitate to come back for repairs in the future.

Elsys awesome. I had an issue with my run flat tires that are hard to find. They found what I needed changed them a couple of days later. Being proactive, they recommended I get tire insurance, which I did, and they ordered extra tired in the case I needed to come back! Guess what? My tire caught a big nail so I needed to come back a few months later. They still had the tire they ordered in stock and I got it for free because of the insurance!Great customer service! Im definitely going to keep coming back for my car/tire repair needs!

Great tire center. They had my tires (for my Subaru Impreza) in stock which 3 of my local places did not have including pep boys. As it’s a pretty “rare” tire. Wait time was next to nothing and they took me in last minute. VERY PROFESSIONAL and good prices. Will be taking my car there for future service. Cannot recommend this place enough. Went there for the first time and loved it. The staff is extremely friendly, welcoming and professional. This is one of my best experience in a tire shop. I highly recommend this place.

My car got flooded just in front of the store and took it to them to check. They checked and said needs engine replacement. This is fist experience with insurance, they helped me with what to do and how to deal with insurance guys. Service was quick once the new engine arrived.

One thing I highly recommend is get the road hazard. Its definitely pays for itself living in NJ. Also I was done in record time, 25 min I think. I just called ahead to make sure the tire was there and they were able to look it up by giving them my name.Once again, get the road hazard.

One of the best customer service I have experience in any service or business transactions ever... Took my car into get some new tires and a oil change. Fair prices, honest mechanics, Wifi, Coffee/Hot Chocolate machine and welcoming environment. Also, the owner is a honest hard working guy and while other shops in area tried over charge and have me change out parts earlier than needed, at Elsy they actually told that those same parts are good and doesnt need to be replace at this point which is very honest of them.

These guys are great. I came here as a first-time car owner and they helped me get my used car from a shady dealership into a roadworthy state. When I came back to pick up my car the next day, I was walking across Ironbound to get to the garage, and someone shouts at me from his truck as Im walking across the street. I ignore him, figure Im getting heckled as pedestrians sometimes do. Then I realize its my buddy from Elsys, offering me a ride back to the garage, which is pretty exemplary of the people who work here! From now on Im a loyal customer.

If you need a quality and honest place to have work done on your car, this is a great place. My sons car got stranded in Newark with what we thought was an alternator.Jose (the owner) took the car in on last minute notice and diagnosed a bad battery - costing me way less than a new alternator. He could have taken advantage of a stranded out of town traveler, but handled this perfectly. Even followed up with me an hour after I left to check to make sure everything was running OK. If I lived in Newark, this is where I would have my auto repairs done...

I had couple of bad experience in my area, so I decided to keep going to Elsy auto shop.Great price, real friendly staf and owner, fair and knowledge. BTW this shop had better prices on the Goodyear tires than sears.

GREAT service bar none. Broke down on the turnpike without a spare, these guys came to the rescue with 20 minutes before closing time. Actually came out, got my tire and brought it back with a new GoodYear already mounted and balanced. That is some great service! Amazing service and people 😊. I came to Elsys for an oil change. The team did great checking my vehicle and notice i needed tires..they quoted me a great price for all 4 tiers, and with the upcoming winter I surely didnt want to take any chances. I cant emphasize enough how satisfied I was when my car was brought back to life. Car god is what I call them. Other mechanics told me I needed a new car but they fixed it and saved me money.ever since it was fixed, Ive never had a problem.

Friendly staff but they were late for my appointment by 45 minutes and then took 3 hours to do a job that at most should take an hour all while helping customers who literally just came in off the street before me. I can no longer give them my business.

My car was not drivable for over a week one call to Jose and he fix the problem asap. Service was remarkable and the staff was amazing. This will be my cars doctor from now on!!!! And i wish i could give more stars too.

I unfortunately went over one of the thousand plus potholes on the NJ turnpike and ended up with a flat tire. Why do we pay so much in taxes and tolls in NJ if they can’t even fix the potholes? I called Elsy tire pros from the shoulder of exit 14. Instantly they ordered the tire from their warehouse and had it delivered by the time I had my car towed to their location. Once there, they looked at my tire and noticed the 4” gash on the sidewall caused from the pothole that we pay so much for the state to ignore! The owner Jose as well as everyone at Elsy’s was friendly, courteous and helpful. I highly recommend this tire shop for any repairs. I am considering using this shop for all of my future tire replacements even though they are 45mins away from my house!

Five stars isnt enough for these guys. I brought in my G35 that desperately needed break work done this past weekend. Their techs took a look and informed I needed two rotors, a caliper, and breaks. To my surprise they able to rush in all the parts and do it the same day!!The office receptionist went above and beyond for every single person she spoke with. Every single car I saw was touched with the upmost care. Every customer taken care of. They even had kids laughing/having a good time.After they were finished they also informed me that a shop(Mavis) I had put on two tires a week ago were put on the wrong direction and showed me how to tell for the future. Its only day two, but the car has never felt better and I will absolutely be coming back for anything I may need done with my car from now on. Thanks again so much to everyone there!! -Jay

The staff is not helpful. Linda (receptionist) tried to sign me up for a credit card rather than helping me with my car issue. Her attitude was rude and disrespectful when I told her I was not interested in the Good Year Credit card program. Additionally, they told me I needed four new tires (which was going to cost me over $200), but when I took my car to another shop, they patched my tire up for $15. I DO NOT RECOMMEND!

If I can only leave five stars for this establishment, the Google review system is flawed. I picked up a new car at the Newark airport and within five minutes, hit a pothole and got a flat tire. I was fortunate enough to find Elsys nearby and couldnt have asked for a better experience. They located the tire I needed nearby, had it ready to go as soon as I showed up, and had my vehicle ready to go within 20 minutes, all at a price that was more than fair. I was ready to write a five star review upon leaving, but the owner Jose went a step further by contacting me the next day to see how everything worked out and if I made it to my destination safely. I cant say enough about the friendly service that everyone I met at Elsys provided at a very stressful time. A+++

Got a flat on turnpike and was towed here due to them not being able to change my tire on 95. Hands down I have never met more friendly people. Not only were they polite and professional, they were courteous. Jose went above and beyond to help me today and I would recommend this place to anyone. Fast service, knowledgeable, free Wifi in waiting area, gave extra effort to get me the tires and roadhaz I needed and get me back on the road to finally make it into work.

I brought my car in -- unfortunately, I couldnt drive it back out because it was too dangerous. They drove me back home, and then even picked me back up from work the next day. You can apply for a GoodYear card here! Glad my friend recommended the place.

I dropped my Nissan Quest here for checkup which I had bought recently. I had reported some electrical problem in the car basically to do with the car alarm system. Not just these people weren’t able to figure out the cause of the problem, but they also drained my car battery completely by keeping the keys inside turned on. They kept my vehicle for almost 4 days and didn’t/couldn’t do anything with it.
