They are a good parts store.... However...They could do better. It always seems that they dont have something when it comes to truck (class 8) parts or something so common to large trucks and I end up having to order it and then do without until it comes in. I do understand how our current economy has had a incredible impact on nearly EVERY SINGLE business and it hasnt been a small impact but this extends to even prior to the pandemic. It just seems that a auto parts store that advertises itself as a truck parts store should have more mainstream items like triangles LED lights, oversize flags and magnets and other more common or consumable items. I want to be honest here and that is they do carry many items it just seems that there is never that certain item I need whenever I go there and I have been going there for about 3 years now, and I would say that in those years I have definitely had to order items needed more often than not but they always got them when they said they would get them. Maybe its time to start looking closer at what they are having to order or ship in from another location or from the main hub and start carrying more of those items. Its a suggestion I dont run the store and I certainly dont manage it, but, customer convenience should always be what you strive for as an ideal that you meet more often than not. If you need the part even if they do not have it in stock they will get it. They may not call you to let you know that its is in so you may need to call them again and again to see if it has arrived (hint to the store management). It would be a wonderful thing to get a phone call saying hey your parts are in rather than having to constantly call to check to see if they have gone through the order yet and just havent called you.Yes I do recommend this store and I may be a little hyper critical but it does get frustrating to constantly not have what you need when you REALLY need it.
Costumer servise is the worst it It seems like everybody there except maybe 1 or 2 people dont really like their job And are very cold and rude when you ask questions I went there to get a battery and it seems like Id bothered the person on the register when I asked if they carry that type of battery seeing Theyhad none odisplay not going back anymore .knowin myself next time im gona say something
Friendly, experienced staff. Thanks for your help.
I gave this * 1 * because they closed early Saturday they close at 4 p.m. where in the website says 5 p.m.
GREAT VISIT. NOT CROWDED. VERY HELPFUL WORKERS. GREAT CUSTOMER SERVICE
Knowledgble and helpful staff
Well I placed an order online for pickup in store, they said it was going to take 30 minutes to process my order...the web site does say to check store hrs before ordering so I did. Sunday open 9 am to 5 pm... so I placed order and was waiting for 2nd email to say that my order was ready for pick up well that email never came so I was out and about anyways so I spun by the store and low and behold they are closed and now what...I’m just SOL and now I’m have to wait until tomorrow to pick them up and the person that was gonna help me is not available tomorrow...wow what a disappointment Napa I’m so frustrated I can’t see straight.....
Outstanding customer service.
Good deals 🛠🔩🔧
A+ service! Store is pretty big!
Eric was very knowledgeable about the part I needed for my 1969 boat. Looked up the parts in a paper, yes paper no computer, and found them. Went in the back got them and Walla they were correct. Thanks Eric.
Helpful staff, and the shop stocks everything you expect plus many additional specialty items. I went in looking for some German lubricants - in stock and cheaper than online! Plus they seem to stock an impressive number of replacement parts in-store. Thanks guys!
Better than the rest for sure
Roxanne was extremely helpful and friendly!
The manager Eric is very knowledgeable and very helpful. He runs a tight ship over there and everything runs smooth. Sometimes its a bit of a wait because they offer very personal service to each customer. But I personally like that. Ive been using them for about 8 years now and Ill keep going back.
Lots of parts at good prices but not in a very visible area
Ive lived down the street for 30+ years and theyve always been SOLID with quality, knowledge, professionalism and even though the motto Napa Know How is extra sharp cheddar cheesey.... Theyve had n stay with the staff to keep it a FACT! Appreciate Yall!
If you wanna go to a place where no one knows anything at all about cars trucks or parts this is the place to . their service sucked thwir attitude sucked and they didnt have any understanding of a simple part even with clear pictures
They had a few of the things I needed, not all.
This is the place to go when you need knowledgeable advice and the correct part. Unlike the big box parts stores they know more than just what the computer tells them
Wonderful helpful staff!

TLDR: Kyle, Steve, and Jacob at Napa auto parts in Newark are amazing and you can trust that they will have what you need or can source it quickly at a reasonable price.I have a 1979 Chevy Cheyenne that had been sitting in my driveway since 2013, just taunting me to get her working. My wife finally said either fix it or get rid of it and well I was not about to let her go after years of planning and, well, she is my truck so I had to fight to keep her. So my buddy and I take her apart and get the engine out thinking we are going to rebuild it because well how hard could it be?, ha! This is where Napa of Newark and Steve comes in to the story. Steve helped us source all of the parts we were going to need within 24 hours, though most of it was within a few hours. I was shocked at the service and professionalism that Steve provided me. So, fast forward a month of weekends, my buddy and I end up finding out we were just going to have to scrap the block and started looking for an engine. I read forums and the like but only had basic knowledge of what I needed. So I knew where to turn and called Napa again. This time I spoke with Kyle, who knows his stuff. He guided me to the right engine and even answered technical questions while explaining it in a way I could understand, all while having a positive attitude. So the engine finally arrives and now I needed all the bolt ons, hoses, and belts and I knew just where to go. So we just take all our hoses and belts and bring them down to napa and Jacob takes them and gets me exactly what I needed, which I appreciated because I honestly had no clue what I needed. Kyle saved me a bunch of money by setting me up with break in oil, which I wouldve just put in 10w30 and ruined my new engine. Also, again, they got all the parts I needed within 24 hours though most of it was in stock or transferred from another store within hours, which allowed me to go back to working on the truck until the part came in. I went back and forth a lot those two weekends due to my inexperience but the crew at napa guided me to success and provided a level of service that is hard to find now a days. I now have a working truck that I get to keep all because of Steve, Kyle, and Jacob. Thank you, you have gained a customer for life!
Very friendly and helpful. And knowledgeable
Helpful staff and good selection. Napa prices are a little higher. They have an active delivery service to auto service shops
Reliable knowledgable staff
Small place but has all the right parts for your vehicle, service people are helpful and kind. If you need it its here.
Not overly knowledgeable about items in store more interested in chatting with eachother
I asked for a caulking gun that was cheap and would fit a large tube of RTV and I was handed a grease gun.
They were able to get the part I needed quickly.
Knowledgeable staff, has what I need. Remember to start conversation with; Make,Model and Year!!!
Great customer service product knowledge and inventory. Newark napa rocks
Only person in the store other than the delivery person that the employee was talking to. Very distracted. Gave me the wrong part. How difficult is it to find a brake light for a 2001 Honda Accord. Their online site is horrible and now the in-person visit sucks thats why.
Very helpful employees
Bad service. System down... he wasnt helping at all. He told me also he cant go outside... he was too bussy and to many things to do.
Fast and they have a lot of parts in stocm
Pleasant enough place. They didnt have the part I needed but the staff worked to make sure that I knew exactly how things should be fixed
Awesome manager really knows his jod
Decent. But a lot of competition in the fremont area.

They had what I needed, all good.
Nice employee provided fast service.
Had what I needed in stock, helpful and knowledgeable.
My job uses this store to do business. Went in ordered what I needed and was out the door 15 min later. Even helped me carry my things to my truck.
Napa stores always carry all the quality parts you will ever need for all your automotive repairs.
