Our family recently purchased a new car from Porter Nissan and we were warmly greeted by our sales rep Blair. Blair was friendly & patient and took the time to answer all of our questions. The financing rep, Bob, was knowledgeable and found a us lower rate than our Credit Union was offering. A dynamite duo at Porter Nissan, Blair for sales and Bob for financing. Update: 6/10/2021 after receiving a couple of calls from Lyle Price he explained more or less what happened and gave me good tips on what to do next time to avoid the wait.. he was very considerate and helpful. I will give Porter Nissan another chance. Just for going above and beyond to express how much we mean to them as a customer.I was told i had to wait for two hours for a oil change...ended up waiting over 3 hours! Terrible.

I feel that the service department is honest with what I need done with my car. In the past they have provided me with a rental car which is a huge plus. Everyone is very nice. When ever a mistake is made you make it right and are apologetic so I feel like a valued customer. Overall I’m happy with the service here. Porter Nissan seems to care a lot about customer service.

Nice front of house, but after having my car for a bad trans, failed to do the warrantee work correctly, 2 weeks, had to have it TOWED back for same problem. Almost another 2 weeks, scratched the hood and now there is an exhaust leak because they failed to put things back together correctly. Ridiculous, the car only has 49,000.

I recently purchased a 2021 Nissan rouge through them. I have 1500 mile on the car, today an alert saying engine malfunction service now. I called was told they cannot help me. I was told to tow the car there but it would be sometime in August before they will see my car. Manager has unable to talk to be. I even tried calling Blair who sold me the car. Right now I regret using porter nissian to buy a car.

Dealer side of Porter is great. Service side not so great. While the people in the service department are nice and they have a nice waiting area it always takes 2 or more hours for basic service (ie oil change, tire rotation etc.) no matter what day or time you come in.

Leland Jones is extraordinary. Lee had our new Rogue parked in the show room prepped and tagged when I got there. We had only decided on the car earlier in the day. Working through the paperwork took less than an hour. Lee was also careful to provide a full review of the electronics in the vehicle and discussed all of the Nissan services.I marked the service work question in this survey as “probably will”. In all the years we’ve had vehicles from Porter Nissan we’ve never had an issue that required maintenance per say. However, it’s a bit too far to get routine oil changes at the dealership, so we use a local shop to do that maintenance work.

Blair didn’t take me serious at first. I let him know that. He ran my credit and gave me no interest rate in return. He started making assumptions that my credit was low, I have student loans, and $30000 may not be in my price range. My credit is high but short in length (4years) and I’m a software engineer with no schools loans. Needless to say, as a black woman I don’t think they thought I could afford this cheap basic car.

When I began searching for my next vehicle I had a very specific car in mind, one that I wasnt able to find near my home or in the state of PA. Ive never purchased a car out of state and was a little hesitant at first, until I spoke with Miles Gawel from Porter Pre-Owned in Newark, DE. From the first conversation he was very attentive and was able to answer all my questions and concerns. We set up a meeting for the following Saturday and I enlisted a friend and traveled the 1 1/2 hours to the Dealership. Miles greeted us upon driving on the lot, had the car in the showroom ready for the test drive. After a quick drive I was satisfied that this was the car for me. Miles assured me that the delivery process would be quick and easy and it was, Eric Gawel, the Finance Manager was as friendly and personable as anyone could ask. He explained everything, called my local dealership to confirm they would honor the extended warranty I purchased, got me a great rate and sent us on our way. This was definitely the best car buying experience Ive ever had, and that is saying a lot.

What more can I say other than Thank You. Had the best experience with Blair Osburn. Met Blair a while back when he was working at another location closer to me. I was not aware and reached out to Blair to see about a new lease to replace my Pathfinder. Porter is definitely not a dealership I would have considered due to the distance from my home however Blair asked me to give him a shot. We went over different vehicles (2021 Rogue, 2020 Rogue, 2020 Murano) and options and once we narrowed it down Blair gave me really aggressive pricing on a 2020 Murano. Blair assured me that the numbers give would not change and when my wife and I arrived at the dealership the vehicle was clean and ready. We did a test drive then went over the deal again. Everything was exactly as discussed. After a very short wait we met with the finance manager who went over our paperwork and contract. He offered some protections and very reasonable prices and we signed our documents. My wife could not be happier about her new Murano. Blair did a great job and I will definitely work with him and Porter again in the future.

My Nissan experience is always pretty dope. The reps are always nice and personable. Their boss came in (I assume on his day off) while I was checking in and the atmosphere remained very relaxed. No one stiffened up because he stopped by and he was also very cool! I genuinely love the entire Nissan experience. Im never annoyed or regret my decision. As for my service, I was in & out. There was work I needed done that I didnt expect and was quoted a 2 hour wait time and it was done in about an hour and 15 minutes. Thumbs all the way up.

It was time to consider buying a new car and we were not looking forward to it. I would rather have a limb removed than deal with buying a car. So, we did our research and made a list of the dealers we would visit.Porter had been servicing our prior Nissan so we decided we would go to them first. We would then go to the next dealer with Porter’s info in hand. That was until we met Alex Nichols.Alex greeted us without rushing us or hovering. We sat at his desk and chatted about what we wanted. He explained the features of each model and the pros/cons of what we wanted. He then took us out and showed us a variety of cars that met our requirements. At no time did he put any pressure on us or try to up sell” us. It felt more like a chat than a sales effort. Alex is extremely knowledgeable but admitted when he didnt know an answer. He got the answers while we were test driving.We were so happy working with Alex that we decided to buy from him. After agreeing to a price, we met with Eric Gawel, the business manager, to complete the paperwork. Eric continued the experience we had with Alex. No pressure and he spent all the time we needed answering our many questions. We never felt like he was trying to rush us or push us along. There is a lot of paperwork with lots of blocks and he explained each one.Alex and Eric have totally changed our impressions about buying a car. I cant recommend them enough. And I think we should thank Porter Nissan for setting an environment that allows people like them to thrive.
