I called about a vehicle offered for sale. I called at 11:45 am and asked if it was still available, and the answer was yes, but I had to schedule an appointment to see it. I scheduled the appointment for 1 pm. and was told to ask for Edgar. I arrived at 12:55, no-one asked if I needed help so I asked a lady at one of the desk and she said she would get someone. While waiting for Edgar Savanah said she could help. She left and when she returned she said the vehicle was in the shop being looked over. I told her I drove a half hour to get there, and to ask if I could see the vehicle in the Shop. After speaking to some one, Savanah came back and told me that someone had left a deposit on the Vehicle. I apologize if I mispelled Savanahs name, she was very polite, and apologetic. I never met Edgar, and this was not a very good experience for me.
I had a great experience dealing with Delontae as my sales person, Brandon as the GM and Mark Chance as the Finance Manager. Obviously inventory is hard to find due to the car shortage so they worked well with me securing a vehicle that was inbound from the factory. I would highly recommend Newark Toyota as it was a great experience in all facets!
Good morning, my name is Welcome Tavarez. I want to inform you of an inconvenience that happened to me yesterday, I went to give services to my vehicle, in the toyota service that is in hillside near Newark. For more than a month my tires have been presenting problems. I went there the first time and they didnt attend me because I didnt have an appointment. yesterday I managed to make an appointment to give maintenance to my vehicle and check its tires. I clarify that for me it is easier to go to this place because I live near that area. Yesterday I went and my tires had nails and they did not attend to me, they did not even cover my tires, because they say I did not buy my vehicle there, they sent me to the Hackensack store because there it was that I bought my vehicle according to them, and that they were not responsible for my tires. I wonder if my insurance contract is with the toyota. Why did they refuse to give me the service ??? Why are they so irresponsible? I could have had an accident, I had to guide an hour with that 4pm traffic and my damaged tires so that they could solve the problem for me. At that service store on the hillside, they should be giving customer service talks to their staff. I meet my daily payments, you are also obliged to give me the service I deserve and the one that I pay out of pocket. Its not fair that I have to move to Hackensack because they dont want to serve me. I hope someone can read this message .. and give me an answer.

Since I have purchased my 2020 Toyota Corolla I have been getting my oil change done here. They always ask if you want a tire rotation like it comes with the oil change for free. Just a friendly reminder it’s not. I had them put on file not to ask me about it ever again. That’s my only gripe with them.
Chris DelPeche is an excellent salesman and if I lived outside of the state I would still purchase a vehicle from him remotely. I also have to say that the lot attendant and the detail professional at the sales location did an excellent job with taking care of an issue that I had with my paint. We have been with Newark toyota World for many years, since 1990.They do regular maintenance on our 2 Toyotas, oil changes, tires, and all other items that need to be done to keep our 2 cars going. This past week my 2003 Matrix needed a whole front suspension system installed, due to age and just wear and tear. on my car. They were able to repair my Matrix back to super comfortable ride once again. WE will not go to any other place for anything for our 2 cars. Newark Toyota World is tip top GREAT!!!!!
I purchased a new Venza last week from Newark Toyota. The staff was very professional and made the buying process very easy. However, when I got home, I realized that I didnt receive a wheel lock key, and I was charged $65 twice for wheel locks. No response from anyone at the dealership despite numerous tries. So, thats why I m giving a 3 star.
I recently purchased a Certified Toyota Camry a few months ago. I made an appointment to have my oil changed and tires rotated. I worked with Dave Ferguson and he was extremely polite and very helpful. Dave took the time to explain the process and how long it would take. When my vehicle was done he took the time to throughly go over the condition of my vehicle overall and advised which services I should do next and what I should do in the next year or so. I have never taken a vehicle to a dealership for service. I definitely will be back and I highly recommend working with Dave.
They did my oil change. They have a nice waiting area with two televisions. Both televisions were playing Friends. I found this strange as you could have one playing Friends and the other playing some other syndicated show from the 90’s. When I became bored of watching Friends. I walked around the parking lot. The parking lot, if you walk up and down the rows, is about a quarter of a mile. So you could get some exercise while waiting instead of watching unrelatable television.
Oil change and tire rotation were done within the time frame. Prices are good. Had a tire replacement in a timely manner. Overall good service. Nice waiting area.

My car went in for brakes and oil change scheduled appt at 12pm, I called at 4:30pm to check the status of my car sales person told me that my car hadn’t been worked on yet. I ask to speak with a the tech who did the intake and he never came to the phone, I ask to come get my car after getting different information about the status of my car. When I picked my car up no one apology or acknowledge me in reference to my car. Very disappointed in Toyota. I wil not be using their services again after being a customer for over 7 or more years with them. I forgot to mention that the receptionist raised her voice rudely at me, also I made my appt. on that Monday enough in advanced time.Signed,Dissatisfied customer
Never again will I purchase or recommend this horrendous dealership! It has been one problem after another. Once you sign the papers they are horrible. Trying to getting completed was grueling to say the least. I’ve purchased more then 20 cars in my life time. This was a certified used car! My tags have expired my state has no record of this info sent and the dealership seems to think this is ok! Very rude staff that answers the phone and then there is never a follow up from the department. The only one that has help me is Mark Chance.

Had the worst ever business interaction with Newark Toyota World today. After seeing a car online, I called to see if it was available. Was told several times over a few days that it was a newly traded in car and in service. Finally today when I called at 1:00 I was told the car was out and ready for sale. The woman I spoke to said she would have a salesperson get in touch with me. The salesperson got in touch with me at 3:00. At that time I was told the car was still available but now it was in detailing and would be ready very shortly if I wanted to come in. I said yes and was very interested in the car. I told this dealership several times that I was driving in from out of state with an 1.5 hour drive one way. I was told that the General manager gave special permission to the salesman to hold the car till 6:30 since I was coming from far away. I get there at 4:30 and was told it was still in detailing and would be ready in an hour. At 5:30 I get a call and was told by the salesman that someone sold the car to someone else from under him. I asked to speak to the manager to see what happened. He tried telling me that he had no clue that someone else sold the car after telling my salesman he would hold the car till 6:30. The salesman even put a sold sign in the car. Sounds like in-house politics and unethical business practices at a customers expense.

NTW makes buying a car easy. I found that the new Toyota I wanted was in stock. I was able to configure the options and apply for credit online.I made an appointment to come to the dealership and was in and out in about one hour, driving my new vehicle. The staff was courteous and answered all my questions with no BS. They even went to the trouble of helping me qualify for a cash back incentive by finding bank financing to match their promotional rate.The car was in perfect condition with no defects. I highly recommend Newark Toyota World.Here is a caveat. Be sure of exactly what you want and be ready to buy. There is a shortage of née cars and trucks, especially Honda and Toyota. NTW will not even take deposits, because the vehicle you look out today may be sold by tomorrow. Don’t waste the dealer’s time, and he won’t waste yours.

I purchased a 2018 Toyota Rav4 3 years ago. I was given 2 years of free oil changes. The first time I went to the service center, the man that waved me into the garage was rude. The next 2 times I went, the service writer was fine. Yesterday, I was treated rudely by 3 different men as I entered the service building and while I was waiting for the service writer that I had requested. I did speak to a manager and told him my experience and he said that the the men that I had come into contact with was not the experience that I should have had and apologized. I am not sure if I will return for service again.

I been having suspension issues with my 2018 Tacoma lease. Factory wise the suspension is not faulted. However the Tacoma is infamous for having weak leaf springs. I use mine for work and have enough tools in the bed, plus a cap, to make the rear sag..I contacted Newark Toyota World service dept. hoping i can have them resolve my particular issue.To no avail. The rep on the phone told me my truck was simply overloaded. There was nothing they would do..I would figure he would have suggested a remedy, considering all the possibilities with the after marketSuspension items for this exact scenario.This would have given him business but he declined to help.. should i be surprised these days??Guess i’ll look else where. Horrible customer service! Told numerous times that a service manager would call back they NEVER did! Said car was fixed got 6 miles from service department and lights came on AGAIN! Service Department has had my car just as much as I have! Have jump through hoops to even find out any information on my car.

Matt is passionate about cars and amazingly knowledgable about all aspects of them; their history, the companies that produce them and the industry in general…. which we truly appreciated. We are impressed with his sincerity and work ethic to find the best fit for us. He was flexible at setting up an appointment to meet and so helpful once we arrived. He spent time answering questions and sharing information, all to help us determine what would work best for us. He even shared his personal cell number in case of future questions. Although we’re sure the other sales people are great, we highly recommend Matt Vento to anyone seeing a knowledgable, engaging and helpful representative.
I wanted to see if my broken heated drivers seat was covered under the warranty I got with the Certified Toyota I bought from Newark Toyota in 2017. I didnt think I still had coverage for anything but I found the original Certified Warranty and it said I had coverage for something until early 2022. So, I called and was told that I might have coverage on the seat problem. I offered to give the person the number on the warranty but she couldnt help me find out that way. So, she transferred me to Newark Toyota Service dept. They said I had to bring it in to find out. When I got there a few days later I was told they had to do a test on the vehicle to see exactly what part had stopped working. It would cost $139.00. Thinking that it might be worth it I said ok reluctantly and I was wondering why they had to do anything to find out if my heated drivers seat was covered under the warranty. Of course, it was not covered and I received a discount and only had to pay $120.00 to find that out. My question is why do you have to make a claim and be denied in order to find that out and pay $120.00? Seems like I got ripped off by the service department at Newark Toyota.

Just bought a used Corolla from Newark Toyota for my 17 year old son-his first car. This now makes the 4th Toyota (2 Siennas and a 4 Runner) we have purchased there. Our salesman, Eric Mosley is the reason why. Eric has all the fine attributes of a superior salesperson-honest, dependable, knowledgeable, conscientious and above all treats his customer with respect and concern. We go to Eric for all our car purchases and would trust no-one else.One example of Eric going the extra mile is after we had agreed to purchase the Corolla, Eric had the car thoroughly cleaned. We noticed the front headlights had the normal oxidation on them but did not make a deal of it since the car was 5 years old. Without asking or telling us, Eric had the shop buff out the lights and they now look brand new--which not only made us very happy but my 17 year old son! That extra effort made a 5 year old car look almost brand new. Eric knows how to take care of a customer.
Would really like to commend Dave Ferguson service advisor for brilliant and exceptional customer service provided. Brought in my suv for bike rack installation and my original service advisor had to leave the next day and so he had handed me to some one else.When I reached it was lunch time and no one was around. Got a bit of run around trying to find my car and it was painful just to get my car pulled up to the drive, forget getting some one to help me understand the parts.That is when Dave Ferguson stepped in and took charge seeing me running around and got my car, worked tirelessly with me to help me understand the parts and turned out what would have been a very disappointing visit into one of my most memorable and pleasant one. Hope they hire more of Dave Fergusons which can make customers journey so much pleasant.Gave 3 stars because of the run arounds and some of the other issues I faced

As a first time new car buyer, I was nervous and even brought my dad with me for backup, but once I got there I felt so comfortable and at ease! Chris took the time to explain everything, and I never felt pressured into buying anything I felt I didnt need. He was down to earth and answered all my questions transparently. I stood around in the show room for about 10 minutes no one acknowledged me, said hello or even really looked my way. I understand some people may be with other customers but it would be nice to at least be acknowledged and hear someone say I’ll be with you in a minute. Alas...nothing. Weird way of showing you want someone’s business.
I had a real good experience. I went into the dealership knowing exactly what I wanted and knowing they probably wouldnt have a black 2018 4Runner TRD Pro. I was correct. My sales rep, Ken Steen, was able to swap an Newark Toyota allocated blue Pro with another dealers black Pro. It took time to get to the states from Japan and time to get from New York to Delaware, but it was totally worth the wait. Ken was very responsive and called, emailed or texted with updates and answered all of my questions.

I am very happy with the service that I received and the car we ended up buying. I called and made an appointment to go see a vehicle. A couple hours later, salesman Jeff Fedena called me back to say that the car that I was interested in had been sold. He asked me a few questions about what I was looking for and said he would try and find me something. A few hours later, he called me back and said he had found something. I went there that afternoon and purchased a beautiful Toyota Sienna that was even nicer than the original car I was interested in. I give Jeff a lot of credit or finding the perfect car for me. He made it very easy to get exactly what I was looking for.
