I was very pleased with Georges service. The first rug I ordered had a spot on it. I contacted George and he immediately invited me to return it to his office, postage-paid. He offered me the option of waiting to see if the carpet doctor could try to remove the spot, or I could select a different rug. I really liked the first rug, but I needed a rug quickly because it was right before the holidays. The new one arrived within a couple of days, and I like it even better than the first one!

They have a show-room in Midtown East, and I think a big warehouse in Brooklyn.Before you come, I think its important to have a target rug (a photo of something you like, have already, or are thinking of purchasing) and a target price. Youll be asked to send the former before you go; and its inevitable that youll be asked the latter at some point once you visit. We did this by visiting big-box stores before Harooni.We sent a photo of our target rug beforehand. When we arrived, they had a very similar rug to show; we commented what we liked or didnt like; they brought out another rug, and we iterated like this for an hour or two.Effectively, we walked out with one of two options: we could buy the rug we had already chosen for roughly half the price we had been quoted earlier, or we could buy a rug that we had chosen from his stock that we liked much better for the same price.So, look, if youre reading this, you are already aware that there is enormous price uncertainty in this business. My advice: find a benchmark first, then go here. Obviously, theyll be looking to make a sale. But, so are the guys at the big-box stores, right? They cant force you to buy their rug: so, go in with your benchmark, and determine if you like the same rug (at better price) or better rug (at same price).For our part, we couldnt be happier.

I was extremely pleased with this Company and George, specifically. Everything was exactly as described and the communication was very good. We purchased the first rug and after it arrived my wife did not think it was big enough for the room. We returned the first rug and ordered a second, it turned out to be perfect for our babys nursery. This rug was of the highest quality wool and silk, handmade Persian rug. These rugs were expensive, but much less comparatively than other retail outlets that we shopped around. I was sceptical of buying rugs site-unseen over the internet. Stumbled on George randomly in looking at one of their rugs on eBay. He was extremely helpful and professional. If anything, he understated the quality and beauty of the rug I ended up buying. I dont, as a rule, do many reviews but this experience exceeded expectations by so much that I thought they deserved recognition for the quality business they are running. Ask for George. He will not disappoint. He makes buying these rugs easy and you dont need to worry about his representations of his products. A 5 star buying experience if ever there was one.
