It’s a beautiful store was a lovely display of Goyard products. It feels as though you are in a museum by the thoughtful and artistic layout. There are very few places to purchase authentic items from this brand, so it’s easy to appreciate the experience of shopping here in the flagship USA location.I purchased a few bags which I’ve thoroughly enjoyed, and added pictures for reference comparing to a cheaper replica. You can see where the authentic has a softer, higher quality leather. The print is also crisper and richer in color, and the stitching is cleaner as well. I’m happy with my purchases.That being said, I did not enjoy the interaction with my sales associate.She would be short and nearly snappy at times. She acted irritated by my presence and I almost felt guilty for asking legitimately normal questions.The comedic relief was that she didn’t know how to pronounce “simulate.” I wanted to see how the custom paint on my bag would look, so the associate spent some time describing a digital “stimulator” that would “stimulate” my final design, and I could go online to review my “stimulation.”
The best experience I’ve had with in-store luxury shopping. The staff is diverse which is always a plus to see. They are super attentive and patient and will answer all your questions. The associate I had we were able to share some laughs which makes the experience more personal and engaging. I highly recommend this location for in-store shopping.
Walked into the store super sweaty and Stephanie paid no heed about it. I was handed some paper towels to dry off and was asked what I would like to look at. She showed me the different colors for the St. Marc wallet and processed the transaction smoothly. Being my first time in NY, she also mentioned some restaurants worth checking out.
Everyone here is helpful, friendly, and cool. All positive vibes. I have had a great customer service experience, and have seen many others receiving the same!
Jason was a fantastic sales associate, after my unfortunate experience the day before, I was ready to write off the brand on move on. Luckily upon arriving to exchange the purchased item, I was greeted by Jason who was extremely helpful and insightful. He didn’t hesitate in showing me various items and helping me really find the right piece to take home. There were a few pieces that I did not have room to take back with me that I will definitely be returning for and I look forward to working with Jason again.The previous SA would have garnered a 1 star review if it hadn’t been for my follow up experience with Jason
Terrible customer service. I waited to be helped and no one ever came to greet me. I eventually turned around and left. I do not recommend this store. Go visit Bergdorf if you are in the area, you will get better service.
I purchased a bag via distance sale and had the best shopping experience. I was helped by Stephanie who made it so easy to purchase and provided me with all the information I needed to decide on a bag. I contacted the store thinking I wanted one thing and instead Stephanie helped me pick the best bag to suit my needs. She is friendly, prompt and very knowledgeable. I absolutely love my purchase and look forward to shopping at Goyard in the future.
First I want to say that this is a store policy issue that’s not related to any particular employee who’s following policy and doing their jobs. When I visited the store today to pick up my repair order, I had to wait in line for 40min for something that took 3min — a simple pickup. No one should have to wait that long to pick up an order when they have no intention to buy anything from in store. They should just take my receipt, grab the bag and give it to me outside if they really cannot let me go inside the store.I’m not sure their max capacity under covid is but I’m guessing no more than 5 guests could be in store at one time which is definitely super low compared to other luxury brands and their counter in BG.
I came in recently with my mom from out of town who purchased a Artois mm and she loved his presentation of the goods and professionalism. Shop with him if your looking for a great experience.
If I could give it fewer stars, I would. I am a frequent purchaser of the brand. But the service at this location is unjustifiably yet consistently terrible. On this last occasion, the security guards treatment went from annoying to downright disrespectful. Unquestionably the worst shopping experience. Avoid like the plague and get your Goyard from Bergdorf or Miami.
We came here on a Sunday afternoon and there was a waiting line outside the store. We waited probably half an hour but never saw any staff come outside and advise of the waiting time. Ended up leaving without even having entered the store—I’m sure there are ways to entertain (or at least inform) the potential customers waiting outside. Hurts the brand image IMO.
After reading many not so pleasing reviews from this place I was alittle hesitant…. To my surprise I must stress it was an absolute pleasure from the second I entered… I was greeted very kindly and introduced to Saneeka !!! He was a pleasure to work with in gettingme exactly what I wanted…. and assured me if I needed anything else to contact him for further future purchases… He was great and made the purchase quick and easy …. The customer service is horrible and discriminated their clients. Today we went to the store and the staff told us we need to wait 10-15 mins. 5mins later, two people came out, but the staff still didn’t invite us in. After waiting for 20mins, I asked him how long more I should be waiting and I saw two people came out already. The staff told me “ they are different from you, you can wait as long as you want till the next sales associated is available.” This kind of customer service is ridiculous.
I went early in the morning when they opened and I was greeted with and helped, amazing service. I went in with the intentions of buying the Green GM (beach bag size) but the sales associate convinced me to look at the GM with the zipper - it was perfect! I bought that and a PM in dark navy. Great service and was very knowledgeable with all the products!
Amazing customer service experience. I had a slight set back with my tote and I have to say, the customer service experience exceeded my expectations, especially during the unprecedented times we’re in. I worked with the operations manager, Joanna and director of stores, Sandy Wu & team who prioritized my issue and resolved everything in a very reasonable amount of time. I was eager to see with some reviewers how it would go, and I surely was pleasantly surprised and then some! I am so pleased with the repair work and they’ve undoubtedly earned me as a long standing client. Thank you to all, I’m impressed!
Terrible customer service. I bought card holder wallet end Feb 2021. I used only 4-5 times and I stored two cards only in the wallet. 3days ago I found the corner of edge leather is starting off. I called store first and went to store show them and item and explained. The stuff said its wear and tear, if I want to repair in the store they would charge $125 or $150. And there is another opt that they could refer me to work shop. I have never seen this kind of customer service and return policy. The stuff was rude and didnt willing to help me to resolve my issue.I also really disappointed of their quality of product.I dont think there is other brand do like their Service.

Went in person to go pick up a Saint Louis bag as a gift from my bf. Saneeka helped us so much in picking which colors were the best suited for me. He provided us with excellent service. My bf wanted a card holder for his birthday coming up and he showed us to them and later on I reached out to him via text/phone call and placed the order over the phone and it was shipped within 2 days. Love the service and staff here!

If you want a Goyard anything (things you see online, on IG, or things they may or may not make), OR if you just want to get some info and learn about the brand and products — Go to the boutique or call (keep calling if no one picks up, someone will eventually). Ask for Saneeka and pretend like you know him. He is as good as any Madison Ave sales get!!! In other words- find him!!! Ask for his card and his number. He helped me even on his days off. Yes, I had to make a last minute overnight shipping order before I fly off to vacation. Note that I am as particular as can be. He demonstrated immense patience as I said things only New Yorkers wouldn’t find offensive. I dropped by the boutique a few times last year just to browse. He showed me a few items that was never on my radar before (watch case, little trinkets, etc). He took the time to chat and educate me on the brand. And he always gave me his honest professional opinion, which I greatly appreciated. I eventually found out that Goyard makes more than overpriced delicate canvas bags. :) and now I own one! Let’s be honest, it’s always a relief to find luxury sales professionals who are competent, patient, and un-snobby. If you are his boss and reading this, give the man a raise!!!

As everyone knows, Goyard does not sell online. So I didnt understand what it means Distance Sale at the first, But l clicked on the ‘Distance sale button and l connected with Sandy Wu.Her e-mails were kind enough to guide me through the whole process. It was a tremendous experience. The bag still are not delivered, so the reviews on the bag were not available but I can say all processes made me very satisfiedId like to thank Sandy again.

These reviews on here are a hit or miss! It truly depends on the associate that’s assisting you. I worked with Stephanie and she was top notch. Absolutely a pleasure to work with and very knowledgeable. She promptly brought out the items I was looking for and knew exactly what colors she had on stock. Dropped off a bag for repair due to their quality issues (melting sealant of the straps) and it’s been 2 months and I haven’t heard anything back from them. Seems like they’ll only pay attention if you open your wallet. Disappointing service for the brand name it has.

My wife is extremely particular about her possessions, levels of specific idiosyncrasies that couldn’t be decoded by the team that cracked the enigma machine. Thus, I set off to this beautiful store to find the absolute perfect Goyard Wallet for her for Christmas. I knew I would need to throughly inspect every different item that could possibly be considered a wallet. This type of detailed inspection and repeated request to see yet another item, usually warrants a bit of a ‘tude’ from sales associates. Saneeka humored me, assisted me openly, was professional and polite and in the end helped me to find the perfect item to appease my wife’s fastidious taste. If you’re looking to buy something special from this NYC gem of a store, make sure you ask for my man, Saneeka.

Emailed them to get the stitching from the handles fixed since it started to loosen after 5 weeks, and Eileen from the Goyard Service Team has been extremely helpful in arranging to get my bag fixed and even asked the Goyard team to expedite it so I can get the bag bag sooner. Amazing customer service!

I’m surprised how this location has numerous negative comments. Maybe because people are just expecting too much or tend to compare Goyard with other brands.I went with my sister to this location not expecting anything but average service after reading the reviews here. We had no choice but to go here since we cannot travel because of the restrictions and Covid.It was a weekend, but we went in the morning, before noon so it was not busy. There was already a client in the store. We were warmly welcomed by the doorman and associate waiting by the door. She asked the purpose of our visit, and my sister told her she wanted to see the St Louis tote. She showed us the different colors and sizes of the tote. She also showed their other totes, and compared them with eachother. To summarize the associate went above and beyond of what we expected her to do.My sister ended up buying the small Artois tote, based on the suggestion of the associate. We walked out happy, and contented with the purchase. We got confused about the negative reviews, everyone at this location was very friendly.

Highly disappointing experience, after a year of calls and emails to the 20 E.63 st location “pre pandemic” and resumed once NYC & shops reopened, nobody ever answers the phone and once in a blue they periodically respond to email. Finally deciding to make a trip in person I discovered the store totally empty and free of any shoppers, very far from busy and the two sales employees were occupying themselves, the gentlemen sitting in a chair near entrance reading a book and his female colleague was having a personal conversation laughing hysterically on her mobile device (the store phone rings incessantly, but no one takes a moment nor makes any attempts to answer.)Upon arrival, the reception and greeting was lackluster, nothing like the ambience you’ll experience at Chanel or any other high end merchant, no beverages offered like water or Champagne, the staff wasn’t overly friendly nor jubilant.In conclusion after selecting and purchasing the “Cap Vert” and after verifying I was previously in the Goyard system for this is my 3rd purchase, I was denied a simple gift box, and was quoted as per store policy only select items can be boxed, and they’ll need permission from corporate.After being told such an absurdity I wanted to immediately cancel my transaction at the register but was told “too late all sales were final” this was in August of 2020, it’s now October 2020 and after 2 written request for a cardboard gift box, still no avail.I give 1 star because I genuinely admire their goods and history, but unfortunately not much else about this brand nor customer service delights me, consider Louis Vuitton.
I called the store the day before I visited there in person. The lady on the phone had told me that they have a limited edition bag with a specific color but when I went there to buy the one, they told me they don’t have it and they had that color last year. Very confusing and upsetting and disappointing. Don’t tell the wrong info to your customer!! I wasted my time and taxi bills.

Such a beautiful store!!! Nestled on 20 E. 63rd Street is the gorgeous NY, NY store. I was assisted by the wonderful Stephanie who was so pleasant. She showed me everything I wanted to see, and I never felt any pressure of rushing or even purchasing anything. Of course I did though. And Stephanie helped me with my customization, and showed me color options, and really made me feel comfortable with my purchase. Thank you, Stephanie!
Personally, I had a great time coming here yesterday (Feb 2,2020). My boyfriend surprised me by bringing me to the store to buy me a new bag since my Neverfull was a tad too big for my lifestyle right now. I was greeted right away by the people there and asked if I needed help. After browsing, my eyes landed on the Goyard Artois and I wished to know if they had red in a small size. The sales associate went right away to check if they had red and brought it down for me to look it. Then I wanted to see if I wanted that or the bigger size (mm versus pm) and she went right away!I ended up getting the smaller one in red and I am in love with it!Please keep in mind (the sales person reminded me twice so I guess people dont know) but all sales can be returned as a store credit or exchanged within 30 days if unused but IT CANNOT be refunded back into your original card. I am not going to return it, but I was curious as of why she had to say it twice.Other than that, the store was cozy! But the pricing isnt labeled for every single item and they dont tell you the pricing unless you ask.
This store is designed to look like it has so much heritage, the overall service needs some upgrading. I had to wait 30 minutes thankfully in the store. They only let a minimum of about 5 clients in the store at a time, as there were people waiting outside. Overall good luxury items.
If I could give a ZERO, I would!! My regret is that I didnt read the reviews prior to shopping at this location. Please dont make the same mistake that I did. DO NOT WASTE YOUR TIME TO PURCHASE FROM THIS LOCATION!!! They have the worst customer service with condescending and unprofessional manners. The decor of this store is quite nice and very authentic however the service is quite snobby. The whole place makes you feel almost like a burden or somehow with less prestige. I simply don’t understand the need to try to use the term “exclusivity” with the true meaning of disdain for the customer.

Update!!! I previously posted about my experience with an issue with a newly purchased bag and the fact that you can not reach anyone by phone at this location and rarely do you get a response from email. After my review I did receive a call from the store manage who was very nice and explained the phone situation (which is unacceptable but, out of her control) And that she had some options regarding my bag. Unfortunately mine is no longer available in the color I purchased so an exchange was not an option as I did not want one of the 2 color options now available. Since it was an issue caused by the shoulder strap that was purchased to use with this bag she had approval to refund my purchase since it could not be replaced. I do want to thank my sales person NUR, she did a great job and I appreciate her help. I upped my review to 3 stars for the outcome however, they need to do some serious work on their phones and response times to customers.
After waiting in line outside the store and then waiting again inside for a sales assistant to be free which is no issue, we were then “helped” by JACOB who showed absolutely no interest in assisting us with what we were looking for or making further suggestions based on what we had looked at, instead he stood there impatiently tapping his feet and looking around whilst we contemplated, and when we asked to look at certain styles in another colour we received a heavy sigh and more disinterestIt’s not hard to maintain some level of service especially in a store that has decided that each sales assistant only serves ONE client at a time -After purchasing one item we decided to do the remainder of our Goyard shopping at BARNEYS nearby where they are happy to serve you and have a much better selection.
The Maison Goyard is a very unique shopping experience. The inside is exquisite and elegant. Even though its a relatively small space, they have a lot of product in their store. This store can also do a ton of customization for your pieces, and the sales associates were all very nice and friendly. The store itself is very well worth checking out, and the products are also very good quality.
Amazing service. Kara was super helpful and friendly despite me being on the phone. Told her what I needed and was redirected right away to the counter where the goodies awaited. There was no line and everyone was smiling and nice. Loved that regardless of not having the color I wanted for the bifold choices were suggested. Such a beautiful gem of a store in the heart of NYC. Definitely will go back. Try the Barney’s store first and felt the selection of products were very limited. Didn’t even have the bifold.
Extremely poor customer service, I have called the store multiple times to place an order and was either put on hold or transferred to another person who did not pick up. When I requested an inquiry via email, they initially answered the email but never responded for directions about payment. It seems like they are not interested in even selling their products.

I purchased a tote that zipped to carry as my small laptop bag. Two weeks after purchasing the tab on the zipper broke. I brought into Goyard and was astonished to learn that not only could they not simply exchange my brand new bag but it had to go to Paris for review. Apparently, it was reviewed and they are repairing it but now I am stuck waiting for who knows how long (they cant even give me a rough estimate) for Goyard to repair my bag and send back to me instead of simply replacing it. I need this bag for work. I really cannot believe this is how an alleged high end store operates. I shop at the best stores in the world and have never had to deal with this before. Very disappointed to say the least.

Pretty store but sale assistants could be a lot better. Unlike any of their other stores in Paris, London or Mexico City, the sales here are snooty and a bit unprofessional. I’ve been here twice and had the same experience. They normally don’t look at you when talking. If you want a good shopping experience from goyard, then this is not the store, despite the nice storefront.

Went in with my wife to let her look at some of their bags. She was curious about some of their models, and wanted to finally have a closer look. As we entered the store, the security guard told us to wait in the front area for a sales associate. As it turned out, we were not even allowed to browse the store. We were told to sit and wait for an associate before even being allowed to look around. Immediately after this, we left.I understand they are trying to maintain an exclusive image, and I have no doubt they will justify this policy by stating they want to give each customer a personalized experience. However, this is utter nonsense. A comfortable and pleasant shopping experience entails being able to browse the merchandise freely without having someone hawking over your shoulder. After wanting to see a specific item up close, then an associate can be called upon to present the item for inspection and answer questions.Even more exclusive stores like Hermes let potential customers browse freely. That same afternoon, we went to Wempe so I can look at watches, and I openly walked around Pateks without issue. The folks at Goyard need a reality check if they think their brand is far above other luxury goods in terms of exclusivity.

WORST CUSTOMER SERVICE! Really poor quality bags.I purchased a Bellechasse bag in the Maison a couple of years ago, returning last October in the need to replace its handles, as they were melting and staining my clothing every time I used it.The associate indicated repair parts needed to come from Paris, and it would take approximately 6 months. After six months I started calling and writing emails, not once was I able to talk to anybody about my bags repair status. I do not live in NY so I was not physically able to go check in the store.It has been a year, and I am back in NY, and went today to see about my Bellechasse. After ONE YEAR there has been no response from Paris is the best they could come to. UNBELIEVABLE! The attendant said she had just written again and had no answer as to when I could expect to have my bag back. So disappointing.To top it all off, the security guard was extremely rude and insolent. He was dismissive of my query and time, and pretended to impose authority over what I as a customer could do, not even allowing me to contact the manager in the upper floor after waiting for a long time.

This is the worst shopping experience ever. They are trying to create the sense of exclusivity but the staff is simply rude and unprofessional. You are not allowed to freely walk around and browse, and you need to wait outside when it is freezing cold in the winter. I am here to spend money for a good experience not to get some attitude. Those sales assistants should get the same exclusivity when they shop elsewhere
This is the second Goyard store I visited.My first one was in London and the person who helped me was very attentive and helpful. This one in NY did not disappoint me. It’s located in a nice and quiet neighborhood. When I got there, the doorman told me that there was a 15 minute wait outside since there werestill customers inside. This was reasonable since their place is not that huge and having everyone come in at the same time and wait at the front of the store would be chaotic. As I got my turn, Stephanie greeted me warmly and apologized for the wait. I told her that I wanted to see St. Louis, Artois and Bellechasse in different sizes. I already knew the color I wanted, which helped. Stephanie was knowledgeable about the bags and offered her opinion on each of them. This narrowed down my choice to Artois which I’m happy with. It looks like the St. Louis but it comes with a zipper which keeps my things safe inside. It also feels sturdier than the St. Louis. Overall, my experience was excellent!! Stephanie was the best! I highly recommend this place. Just be patient.
I thought the staff was very courteous, the store is so elegant and well organized. I ordered a personalized purse with for my bosss wife and it was ready before the 6 week delivery period for custom-made orders. They called ahead of time to let me know I could come by to pick it up.
I will come back to shop again at this location.
DISAPPOINTING. A large part of the mystique of Goyard is the unique level of style, elegance & attentive customer service that I experienced in the Paris store - unfortunately that did not translate to their staff in Manhattan.... they were young, disinterested (barely talking about an item or taking it out for me even when I asked specifically about it), unprepared (didnt have a business card to hand me), untrained (didnt offer to show me the second floor until I pressed to see it, ridiculous for a new store) - basically poorly trained sales staff. I walked in ready to pay over $2K for a handbag, and walked out thinking Ill wait until my next trip to Europe.

I bought two bags at Goyard in Paris and I had the most amazing experience . One of their associate spent more than 1 hour showing me different styles when I went back to pick up my bags the same associate came to greet me,everything was wrap elegantly . Goyard sale associates are polite respectful and very knowledgeable a pleasure
Im a returning customer and they gave abysmal service and very lax attitude about actually caring about the customer. They make home depot customer service feel intimate, in comparison.
Tried several times to arrange for them to repair my purse. First they told me to email pictures of the damage so I did, they never replied, tried several more times. No reply ever. Tried calling, never can get them to answer the phone.
Brought a bag in for repair 2 months ago, today I was told it may be another month before it is fixed. This is to repair a manufacturing defect, by the way. No follow up calls or emails, I have to call them myself and every time am given a different timeline. Unacceptable level of service for a luxury brand.
Over price
Racist employees. I barely got service here. Complete clowns in this store. Go anywhere else. The selection here isn’t worth dealing with these clowns. I had to deal with a Mime. Zero communication skills. She might not of spoke any english but i’m not here to judge. Just please go get someone who can communicate with customers. Hilarious experience.
Terrible return policy
Boutique of ubiquitous tote bags for the upper east side. Not as pedestrian as LV never full totes. The staff is nice and the store is dog friendly.There are loads of color and personalization combinations. Note, shop will personalize the bag for free - monograms and stripes are included! No one else will have the same bag.Note, there is a 12 week lead time for customized bags....
Rude Rude. The staff thinks they are doing me a favor by allowing me to shop for their products. Go to Berdorf, they are vet helpful.
Rude staff. You would think you’re at Graff buying a 20 mil diamond. You’re not allowed to look around, the service is condescending and unhelpful. I basically had to beg to order a bag. What? Never again. I think they’re trying to be “exclusive” and executing very poorly. Go to barneys for Goyard they’re very nice!
Rude staff. I purchased two white zippered bucket bags from the Bal Harbour store. Before the purchase, they assured me the white bottom would not wear off. After one month, both bags were worn off of the bottom. Two months later, I was in Manhattan and dropped into the store to discuss the condition of the bag...they told me they would take care of my situation and contact their store in Bal Harbour..they have done nothing and now $5600 later, I am left with two ratty looking bags!!! Not quality. I am still working on getting them to make a return.
Walked in this store for my husband they look at you like you can’t afford nothing in the store . The workers act like they own the store and don’t want a certain kind in there long story short I brought 2 things out of there and will not come back

JACOB is as real as it gets. Straight shooter super professional. Return policy is A non issue. Management is fair.
