THIS STORE IS ALL HYPE, The owner knows exactly how to market his stuff and to a very specific type of customer base. The clothing is designed to look good but the material is terrible, the manufacturing is terribly subpar and the fur is low quality. The coats and jackets just look nice but the fabric won’t last a single wash or survive more than a season. ALL HYPE, just like it’s customers.

Wanted to order a specific coat but clothing of this quality and nature should have a description of its material. Only low end clothing like those listed on websites from companies in China list the items like Daniels does. If its fur, leather or even shearling it should state what type of atleast how much of it is fur, I come from a family of textile manufacturers and clothiers and this is very poorly made clothing. His $349 carcoat is not wool but polyester and vinyl trims. The jackets look nice but they are worthless. Hence why all the consumers he advertises or markets with are just there for the photos. The jackets are heavily marked up and quality is absolute garbage. Save your $$ shop at real furriers.

I had the pleasure of finally visiting the famous Daniels Leather on Orchard Street in NY where all of our favorite artists, actors, friends and family buy their one-of-a-kind, classic, leather, suede and furs coats and other accessories and now, i see why they frequent this spot on a regular basis and never hesitate to come back for more. Daniel, Victoria and David were the best at helping me, my brother and my friend find exactly what we were looking for. And if it wasnt exact, they went as far as assisting by trying the coats on, themselves, or by giving their opinion on what they thought looked perfect on you. If i asked questions about what i didnt see, the owner made it know that he could make whatever i asked for. For someone to deal with thousands of people on a weekly basis takes major patience in trying to please the customer and thats what Daniels Leather exuded for me. This is the BEST place to go to if you want to get a nice coat. The staff is very knowledgeable and welcoming. When I went I was greeted by David. I told him I was looking for a fur and he showed me all of the ones that would look nice for my body type. I didnt feel pressured to buy anything at all. His prices are very reasonable and he offered me a payment plan so that I could be able to get the fur that I wanted. When I went back to make a payment David rememered who I was without me even telling him. That says alot to me. They have wonderful customer service and I will definitely be buying from them again. So I live upstate NY about the 3 hours away from this Location. Im familiar with Orchard St. from growing up as a youth. Orchard Street was the place we ALL wanted our Sheep Dogs and Leathers from .. if you were fortunate enough to have one it probably came from Orchard.I saw an add on IG where some biker jackets were on sale at super price end of season. I contacted Nadeem via IG and asked about the sale I figured he would say it was in store only but to my surprise he asked that i call his number so that he could see if he had what i wanted on the spot.He found the 2 jackets i wanted and honored the IG price even tho one was a different color, then he had them shipped to me the next day!!My paypal transaction was flawless and the leather jackets were both of high quality buttersoft leather. I was very happy with the CS from Nadeem himself, this guy deals with Elite Athletes, Musicians and High Caliber clients with lots of money.When i did business with him he treated me the same way even though i was only spending $500 bucks .. I bought a leather jacket in December 2011 the leather is made by KNDLES and Carter London England, this has fox fur on the hood, and is a redish color this is the most beautiful jacket you have seen and it is fully lined and very heavy cost only 99.00 dollars i live in buffalo new york and no one has a jacket like mine. thanks guys will be back again. doris

Rude and unprofessional

I had came all the way from London to see these guys and honestly was very disappointed . They were so rude and did not want to work with me at all. I hate writing bad reviews but i had to. I was disrespected. I had to go down the block to 145 orchard to get me my sheepskin.
