As a designer in NYC, this is a good place to go to find chandeliers. Yes, the customer service is lacking, but if you remember to check your product before you leave, plugging it in, and everything, you can get a good price on a light that would cost more elsewhere. As far as being able to return a product for money back, that is almost unheard of anywhere, so never expect that unless you are dealing with a top of the line company with excellent customer service. This is bowery lighting store... Nothing more. I have done lots of business with them, the sales people are friendly people, the woman who answers the phone is pure awful, (so dont let her deter you) and the choices they have are great. I will continue to use them as a first resource, and I am sure they would appreciate others doing the same. :-)
