Everything here is great, except for the sorbet flavors. The sorbets tend to be too icy and taste very artificially flavored so I would stay away from those. Also, this place is definitely a bit pricey for its portion sizes and you can probably find a lot of alternative, more filling dessert options in the city.Besides that though, the ice cream flavors all truly were phenomenal. I don’t know if I would come back here but for what it’s worth, I had a great time when I did go!

Tiny takeout dessert shop serving mochi ice cream bites. the shop, itself, is very small but neat and welcoming. The variety of mochi flavors are in a glass display from mango to salted caramel to matcha and many more. there also have vegan mochi. definitely a nice place to grab something sweet while shopping or walking around SoHo.i got the salted caramel as well as matcha mochis. i really liked both. the mochi rice dough was thin and chewy—and the ice cream in each mochi was really rich without being overly sweet. the bits of caramel in the salted caramel ice cream were great flavor bombs. the matcha was a nice and clean flavor without being too earthy and had the right balance of sweetness against the matcha tea flavor. overall, these are great little treats. they are kinda pricy at $3 a pop bc they are so small but they are high quality and taste great. the 4 for $10 is a good deal.

I really liked this place! My favorite was the coconut mochi, then the black sesame. The soft gooeyness on the outside was done just right! There were a lot more flavors that all sound so good, that weren’t available at the time, but I definitely will come back to try them!

My best mochiever. So fresh. Match, chocolate and red bean were my best. But the BEST EVER was the sweet purple potato (MUST TRY)!! It’s not too sweet and it’s my best part of them. However, all of the others where so good (black sesame, passion fruit, mango and salted caramel).

The mochi are good!! great flavor selection with traditional favs (matcha, sesame, ube) and seasonal ones (pandan pistachio). not overly sweet, and taste like natural ingredients. the packaging is nice so makes good gifts too

This place is amazing. They have rotating flavors I believe but everything we tried was to die for. My favorite by far were black sesame and passion fruit but again everything was great. The store is also very cute and neat and the cashier was lovely!

I ordered a bento 4 pieces, Lychee, Pandan, Chocolate, Matcha. I like all of the flavor but Matcha was the best one!

The mochi here is extremely soft, and the sorbet that they have inside the mochi have many different great flavors. The mochi here will be on the slightly more expensive side at $3 per piece.

We got lychee, salted caramel, coconut, and espresso. they were all so freaking good and i’m definitely coming back or ordering online. i’m obsessed now — the grocery store ones can’t compare.

Amazing bite! it is a little pricey ($3 a pop), but they have really delicious flavors. we got black sesame and matcha coconut! both were really yummy. the ice cream and mochi were really high quality- definitely different than the ones you get frozen at the store. worth going to & also coming back to!

Great ice cream mochi! I tried the hojicha, mango, lychee, and black sesame flavors and would most strongly recommend the hojicha flavor with a solid creamy and roasted flavor that encapsulates the hojicha richness. I also had the nitro matcha and it was unlike anything I had had before! A smooth and fresh beverage without the bitterness many are wary of when it comes to matcha — would definitely recommend trying it!!

Received the mochidoki signature collection set and it is for sure one of the best gifts Ive ever gotten. There are twelve flavors with two pieces per flavor. It came packaged in an insulated cooler loaded with dry ice to guarantee the mochi ice creams stayed fresh, frozen and intact. All the mochis were melt-in-your-mouth soft and all the fillings were so rich, creamy and fragrant.I absolutely loved the passion fruit, ube, black sesame, matcha, strawberry, espresso, chocolate and vanilla chip. Some might find the passion fruits tartness to be too sour but I found it refreshing. Coconut and salted caramel were wonderful too. Missing the mark were lychee and red bean. Lychee hardly had any lychee flavor and would have tasted better if it werent overpowered by its coconut base. Red bean had too subtle a flavor.With classic staples and seasonal specials, vegan and gluten-free options, mochidoki caters to a wide-ranging audience. Treat your family, treat your friends and treat yourself. Seriously the yummiest mochi ice cream ever!

This is one of the best mochi ice cream I have tried. Its delicious & creamy. The mochi melts in your mouth. The shop is really small and they do not have indoor seating. There are variety of flavors available to pick. We got Strawberry, Passion Fruit, Thai Tea, Mango, & Matcha Latte. All tasted really good. The price is worth the amazing product.Would definitely visit again. 👍

Small mochi shop in Soho. Single mochi is $3, and 4 for $10. They have various flavors. I tried Passion fruit, Black sesame, Matcha latte and Salted caramel, and all of them were great. They put mine in a fancy sealed bag with dry ice, which seemed like they extra charged me for the package - it was a couple bucks, but they should have mentioned before charging, then I would just take them without the bag since I didn’t need to keep them cool for hours(I ate some right away)

Easy to see right off of Spring Street servicing SoHo and the adjoining areas of Manhattan. Parking on the street is available, but it fills up fast especially at night and on weekends. The best Mochi Ive ever had, served at the perfect temperature with a Bamboo like tong. Many different varieties. Incredibly clean facilities. Nice staff. New York City prices so bring your credit cards. A Must for serious FOODIE! We will definitely be going back.

Unfortunately their online order is horrible. Never received my order and couldnt get any proper customer service online or by phone. Would not recommend buying online. It was not a tropical storm like they claim it was. Im not concerned about Shipping as much. Im disappointed in your customer service. There is no way of getting help from the complete. You need to update your customer service.

We tried the matcha, coconut, passion fruit and chocolate hazelnut. We liked the matcha and the coconut the most!

I love this place. Favorite flavors: chocolate, une, the new pandan pistachio and milk and cereal, also chocolate hazelnut and red bean. One thing is that the Ube flavor has changed, and no longer really tastes of ube. Before it was seriously the best ube flavor in nyc. I’ve let them know, and I hope they correct it. Otherwise everything is great and it’s one of my favorite places for a treat!

Was wandering through SoHo and found this gem. Best mochi ice cream ever. The mochi layer was thin and very chewy, slightly sweet - texture is on point. I had the matcha flavor and loved every bite of it! Would definitely come back again next time Im in NY

At least 15 different kinds if mochi, half very unique. They pack your mochi to go in a cooler accompanied with a box of dry ice, we ate the 12 mochi before we even got to the train but the dry ice was still very much there and cold by the time we got home.

Red bean mochi was the best ice cream I have eaten to date. It was so good, we are looking to have it shipped from NY to CT!

Came here a few weeks ago and got the lychee mochi ice cream it was very old and tasted like freezer burn the ice cream was slushy goopy texture with no flavor. Definitely not the quality I remember when I tried it over a year ago. I think the quality has gone down. The server didn’t offer a spoon or utensil either with my cup. I messaged them on IG and it was ‘seen’ but never got a response.

I love this place. Its so cute and the desserts are just a couple bites of delicious. There are plenty of flavors to choose from and its really good and well made. Their seasonal mochis are so pretty, but also, so delicious. Give them a shot, you cant go wrong. My standard favorites are passion fruit, black sesame and raspberry crunch.

Lovely small shoppe. The flavors are delicious I havent had a flavor that wasnt amazing. I live in NY and found this place by visiting a ramen restaurant in Austin, Texas that shipped mochi from this store to their restaurant. I would highly recommend checking this spot out and the Ube flavor was one of the best.

Great ice cream flavors and chocolate.

The most amazing mocha I’ve ever had - in the US or Japan. Not alL tough or gummy, lots of vegan options, and the flavors are wonderful. They have Asian flavors (Matcha, Ube, etc) as well as ice-cream-type flavors (Caramel, etc)

Great mango mochi and excellent and friendly service! The mango had the most fantastic filling, and the mochi was velvety and soft. The cashier was lovely and helpful; she recommended that I get one more mochi to save money.

I received the Signature Collection and every flavor was absolutely delicious, though the Ube was my favorite! This was shipped to me, and it was well packaged in an insulated box with dry ice which kept the mochi fresh.

As a mochi lover and expert, I can say that these are very well made. The rice dough is super soft and fresh! The best flavors are the vanilla, strawberry, and chocolate! The ice cream on the inside is also really great! Every time I have gone I have been treated so well!

I like the idea of this shop as a high scale mochi shop but it was very disappointing especially for the high prices. I had the red bean mochi which literally had NO flavor and the black sesame which was barely perceptible. The mochi tasted fresh although it was way too soft. I would not come again

My wife loved these as her Vday gift! Delivery was clearly communicated, came in perfect condition, and most importantly tasted out of this world, our favorites were Red Bean and Black Sesame

I love this place. And unfortunately I can’t find the Miami location because the Miami location doesn’t have a review section but hopefully corporate can take care of the issue in Miami. I am sick and completely tired of ordering Delivery from here and the employees just completely disregard what I choose and decide to add whatever flavor they feel like adding. Get it together, I’ve gotten the wrong order twice.

I was so excited to order these mochi but when we received them, they were completely melted. I am sure if you buy them at the store they are probably delicious, but I would never buy them again to be shipped.

Just went there with my friend. Not much flavors left and the staff just throw away the last two chocolate ones. I had a bento box and my friend had a large box. We said pay separately and the staff asked us if we’d like to have ice. We said yes. And she charged my for the ice for $2 without telling me I need to pay for it. When we asked she just pointed on the bottom of the board said charge for ice for orders under $30. 2 dollars are not a big thing but the attitude makes me annoying.

Really good ice cream but customer service needs some help when something goes wrong. i get things go wrong but they missed an opportunity to go above and beyond as it was more of a sorry but not sorry.

Let me start off by saying Mochi is one of my favorite desserts. Trying this place was on the top of my list for months. They had great flavors and gourmet mochi. The staff was super helpful in choosing flavors. I had the coconut, passion fruit, raspberry crunch, and mango. You can see how much effort the chef puts in in making each of these pieces. Great flavor, can’t wait to visit again.

The salted caramel and pumpkin flavors were the best!!! i believe they had mistaken salt for sugar because on the matcha mochi the icing on top tasted like pure salt. it was kind of pricey overall, but it was worth it.

Its definitely working!I was a bit hesitant to order at the beginning since they have a minimum spend of $60 per order for delivery. Wasnt sure if I wanted to spend so much on getting mochi ice cream, but I still ended up ordering them since I wanted to try different flavors and they have a box that comes with a mix of all kinds of flavors. Their signature collection is $60 and comes with 12 flavors, 2 pieces each. I got 2 other flavors on the side, Milk Candy and Lychee that I wanted to try which wasnt part of the set.So out of all the flavors I tried, listing out the ones I liked in order of preference: Milk Candy, Passion Fruit, Strawberry, Black Sesame/Salted Caramel/Chocolate/Matcha are a tie.Lychee was a bit disappointing and tasted more like coconut mixed in, its honestly skippable for me. For the price and the minimums, it does feel a bit expensive (the mochi size is pretty small), but this is great for sharing and I guess good for a gift if youre going to a friends party. Some of them are pretty sweet so I wouldnt be able to eat a whole piece by myself (except for milk candy and passion fruit, those are so good).Shipping does come pretty quickly!
