I hope this place comes back, I used to order the 1lb three flavor bowls through postmates and it would last me a week. My favorite flavors were licorice, salted caramel, grapefruit, coffee, and mint. I tried the pear once and it tasted exactly like eating a fresh pear. Hope this place opens back up eventually so I can get my gelato fix and keep trying their amazing rotating flavors.

Wholesome gelato and sherbet in a nice part of town. Atmosphere could have been better if there werent construction. Within control of the establishment is cleanliness. It was an acceptable level of clean, but given the location and the prices, I expect impeccable.

Super yum, best gelato I have ever eaten. They sell gelato in three sizes, each levels have different options of numbers of flavors you can mix. For example, you can mix up to two flavors for the small size( which is ~5.5$) and I would say that’s pretty reasonable. A lot of nice options are available. I took chocolate and espresso ( with the hazelnut topping), where as my friend took pistachio and hazelnut. Both were super yum. They have nice outdoor sitting options with a good road side view. I would highly recommend to give it a try if you love to eat gelato.

I thought this place was pretty good! I think the prices were a little steep given the portion sizes, but I do understand that the ingredients are high quality so I guess that makes sense. I was part of a huge party so it took a while, but I felt like the place may have been slightly understaffed. I could be wrong, but I feel like one more employee would have streamlined the process. I ended up getting mint chocolate chip, and I thought it was very refreshing. If you’re ever near Columbus circle and in need of some ice cream, I’d definitely recommend this place.

I went here late at night and they still had so many people coming for their ice cream and gelatos fixes. The place is small yet inviting, has straightforward service and has some wonderful options. I am pretty standard with ice cream and always chose Chocolate when I visit a new place. Their chocolate ice cream is smooth, milky and delicious! Now that chocolate ice cream is deemed great in my books, I am excited to try their other flavors!

Came here straight after the theater and dang this was a great spot. We were the first ones in and got our order with the counter persons utmost attention.Soon after, the small shop was filled to the brim.He gave us samples and his own recommendations upon request and showed us that the hot chocolate was indeed incredibly thick and beautiful.Hot chocolate like liquid Nutella with homemade whipped cream, wonderful torrone Gelato, and a bright place to rest and gush about our day. 5 stars well earned.

Ice cream was sooo good here I highly recommend it.You get 2 samples of ice cream before deciding on what to get.I tried the pistachio, salty caramel, yogurt, hazelnut, in 2 different occasions and they were all good. My favorite was the caramel one, though.I think I ate sooo much of their ice cream it gave me stomach ache after hahaha ha, but it was totally worth it.

Crema de grom was one of the favorite gelato flavors. Pistachio and espresso were delicious too. Mango and strawberry sorbet were amazingly flavorful as well.

The tea is amazing. The titles for their tea is creatively intriguing. The Jasmine Tea Lavender Lemonade is tangy, sweet, and lively rejuvenating. Their Carolina Honey is as soothing as a lullaby. Amazing cafe.

Grom Grom! I really enjoyed my gelato. It was divine! This is Vanilla & Cookies with a biscotti ($.50 extra and totally worth it). Im rating a 4 star because my sisters selection (pistachio & vanilla) was hardly frozen. It was nearly melted before it was even in the cup. While it was flavorful, it melted before she got halfway to it. I highly recommend Grom for their refreshing gelato flavors.

I have been a Grom fan since its first shop opened in Torino about a decade ago. Grom is my go-to place when Im looking for authentic Italian gelato. Its a little pricey but you get what you pay for. The New York location is no exception.

Amazing Gelato! Some of the best I have ever had. Part of me is sad that our only locations are in Manhattan, but part of me is happy. If this shop was local I would be fat and broke! 🤣

Worth the wait and the price

Very friendly service and delicious flavors. Some of their home flavors were just so good that we will be back for more in the summer. The portions are also very generous in comparison to other high end ice cream shops we have been to. Definitely lived up to the hype of all the online reviews. Good service, and very quick, staff were great! The gelato itself was unimpressive though seemed inspired from the names/flavours listed, I found the flavours basic and it was just okay I wouldnt go out of my way to go back...or really go back at all, so many options around here.

Best gelato possible! The flavors are fresh and unique. The fruit flavors are deep and transport you to the land of their origins, and the chocolate, vanilla and nut selections are rich and take you to the land of fairy tales. Can’t say enough, has to be tasted to believe!

We arrived at 10:54PM on a Sunday evening and they informed us they were closed. Closing time is 11 pm. There was another larger party that raced in behind us and were also turned away. So not cool for those of us who spent cab fare to get here before closing time. Please post correct closing times if you close before 11.Otherwise the hot chocolate is great just sad we missed it.

Like liquid chocolate. It is very hot so be careful. Gelato is also excellent and you can taste as many flavors as you like before you buy.

One of my favorite places to stop when in NYC. It reminds me of going to Grom when in Rome, Italy. The coconut gelato is outstanding but is not offered all the time. Second favorite is the chocolate chip mint! A bit on the expensive side, it is worth the treat!

In typical America fashion, I was wondering where the giant portion sizes were, that is, until I tried the gelato and understood. I got the cup size below the largest they offered, which is rather small compared to normal American small ice cream portions, and even that was way too much. I tried the Pistachio and OMG. It was dense (in a good way). It was outrageously flavorful. Simply put, it was AMAZING!!! Im not sure what was better, the gelato or the amazing server who helped us on a busy Sunday afternoon. She was magnificent, helpful, kind and sweet, she served my party of 3 with a beautiful smile throughout. She is the epitome of awesome customer service and Grom is lucky to have her.I dont normally gush about a place unless its out of this world. Grom easily fits that criteria. I cant recommend it enough. I will definitely be back the next time Im in the city.

Phenomenal ice cream, been to many of their locations all over the World. Service on Jan 2 PM was atrocious, the woman working here should not be in a customer facing role. We wont come back to this location.

They have Certified Gluten Free ice cream. Also options for egg and dairy free customers. Usually long waiting line. Staff should be trained about hygiene - once one of them was about to serve me ice cream without washing hands right after cleaning machines. But thats a common problem with employees in NY.

I was very disappointed. If you have small children this isnt the place to go. Me and my family were walking through Central Park and decided to get ice cream so when we googled this place came up with great reviews. My nephew is three and there was a large group of us so we asked the kids what they wanted and my husband went inside and ordered. When my nephew saw his ice cream he was happy but as soon as he took his first bite of the strawberry sorbet he felt small chunks of strawberry in it and spit it out. So we kindly ask the women in the store if she could just exchange it for a a vanilla. She said no you should have tasted it first. Really? So basically my nephew was upset because he didnt get an ice cream and we decided to go to the the French pasty store next door to get him a cookie. This is a 3 year old who ordered a small ice cream. The didnt even need to give us another full cup. Terrible customer service and were rude to my parents when ordering their ice cream because they have an accent. 👎🏻

Went there 3 times in 5 days. I had to try as many flavors as I could. There is a line but not too long a wait and the wait is worth it.

Gelato was smooth and flavorful. Definitely different flavors vs the typical gelato spot. For example, the espresso was really strong, which as a coffee lover, was very much appreciated. I also had the pistachio, which had a nice flavor. To be honest, I wish it had a bit stronger flavor, but it wasnt bad by any means. Some chunks of pistachio in there would have been a great touch.Another great thing is you can choose two flavors even in the smallest size cup. That was great and a pleasant surprise. If Im in the area, Id definitely be hitting this place up if Im in the mood for gelato. Worth a visit if you enjoy gelato and are in the area.

Lets be real with ourselves, its ALL about the hot dark chocolate with whipped cream 👌 on a cold windy day in Central Park this is all the loving your lips will need 😋 the dark chocolate hot chocolate is the creamiest and thickest of the three flavors, and is also the least sweet, having said that you have to understand that you.are.drinking.a.chocolate.bar. So dont kid yourself, but dont deny the whipped cream either. Its fresh and thick and cold and balances the smooth chocolate sooo well. Its the best hot chocolate in all of New York. Hands down. Ive been having it for 6 years and the quality has never changed, the taste is always consistently delicious.

Its a 4 star only because of pricing (it came out to be $14.50 for my husband and I). But! That being said, it was amazing!!!!!! So delicious. And the service was superior.

This is my go-to place for hot chocolate in the winter and good chocolate ice cream in the summer. Ive been coming here for years. I loveeee the hot chocolate. The portions seem small but its so rich that its actually the perfect size. Any time I have guests visiting the city, I take them here after/before walking around central park. There isnt much seating inside, but in the summer they put out chairs right outside the store. I love sitting there and people watching for a bit.The staff is always friendly and they are fairly efficient getting through the line (this is almost always a line).The only time Ive ever been disappointed was when I came in on a cold day (in the middle of summer) wanting hot chocolate, but they only had ice cream, for obvious reasons.

Grom gelato is good. Place is dirty, untidy and they don’t know how to properly serve Grom gelato; as they serve it in London or Italy. Worst Grom I’ve ever been.

Quick service and delicious ice cream!!! I really like plain yogurt and mango as a combination. Tira misu also looked good but I have yet to try it. The pistachio flavor is super nutty tasting which makes it delicious. The space here is pretty big and theres adequate seating. The staff was also really friendly. 10/10, love this place!

The most delicious ice creams are here. Mint chocolate, lemon and Mango is my favorite. You can sit and eat if you want. Location is very good, too close to Central Park.

Two words: amazing gelato. It is so creamy and has the perfect kinds of flavors for all kinds of people. There is rich dark chocolate, light and sweet vanilla, chewy chocolate with marshmallow, and many more. I have seen many reviews claiming that this place is pricy. I do agree, but I also agree that the expense is most definitely worth it. The service is amazing and they give you a plentiful portion of ice cream all the time. Beautiful place. Absolutely amazing.

I have a friend from Rome who made me hot chocolate when she was visiting and it was the best I have ever had. Nothing quite compared to rich, thick nearly fondue dark drinking chocolate, until I tried Grom! Not only is the service impeccable, but it offers treats for all seasons, whether its gelato or biscotti bites or hot chocolate. There is limited seating inside, but its a perfect place to stop and grab a treat before heading for a stroll around Central Park or to window shop at the new Nordstroms. It may be pricier than some ice cream locations, but the quality of the product is worth it! A gentleman in line in front of me sampled his gelato as I awaited my hot chocolate, and exclaimed, Its just like being home in Italy! A highly recommend this gem on Broadway near Columbus Circle!

Grom has the best hot chocolate and gelato! The hot chocolate is actually made from melted chocolate and is very rich and delicious. They are also open late - its a great place in the summer or in the winter and is conveniently located in Columbus Circle.

This is worth the line! It moves pretty quickly since its just gelato anyways. The gelato tastes so fresh and clean. WIth a regular, you can get up to 3 flavors in a cup which is fantastic for trying the flavors. Trust me, youll want to since its so hard to decide! Service was very helpful and kind as I struggled to pronounce the Italian :)
