Little ice cream shop that sells children stuff. Service was great. There was a little room area to eat and chill. And not that many seats outdoors to eat.

I am from Pittsburgh and I really wish we had places like this where I am from. My one son has a peanut allergy and it is always a drag having him have to eat special foods when other kids are having desserts. This place has amazing ice cream it is so good and it is just so fun to see your kids that can’t eat other types of ice cream that may have been made in factories that have peanuts be able to enjoy themselves so much. The environment inside is so much fun and the people that work here are amazing and they just make it such an awesome Experience for the kids. I highly recommend anybody with any kids let alone if they have allergies or not, to come to à la mode and support them because they’re such a great organization and they have such high-quality ice cream.

We just happened to park right in front of this cute Parisian style ice cream shop the other day and we had to go in. From the outside it looks like a quaint Parisian cafe with their cute tables and pink & white striped awnings.Upon entering you see the cutest kid friendly ice cream shop with way more to choose from than just ice cream. Tons of cute kids toys and clothing and they even have balloons. We were then really interested to hear that they serve completely allergy free ice cream - no nuts, no sesame and no eggs. They are also carried in grocery stores so check your local freezers! The flavors are so cute and interesting in bright colorful shades - not to mention delicious. Cute little shop with ice cream that has limited outdoor seating due to COVID. Their products are peanut, tree nut, sesame, and egg free and AMAZING. All of their flavors are delicious but I recommend cooks with Vermont Nut Free Skippers on top.

I ordered a variety of pints, cups, and bars for delivery to Michigan so that my peanut and egg allergic child could enjoy a variety of ice cream treats he has never been able to safely eat before. Not only has he (with his limited experience eating ice cream) absolutely loved every flavor he’s tried so far, but the rest of the family think it is all really delicious as well.I was pleasantly surprised to find that shipping to my area was free. I also appreciate that I received very prompt responses to my emails inquiring about shipping times, and I was assured that the free shipping would be sufficient to get the ice cream to me before melting. They were right. It was still well frozen.I will definitely be ordering again, and we look forward to stopping by next time we are in NYC!

Absolutely love this ice cream shop, which is not only and ice cream shop but also an events space and a childrens boutique all in one!They specialize in allergy free ice cream for kids. There are no nuts, eggs or sesame in any of the ice creams which is awesome. All the ice cream flavors are allergy free so if you child has an allergy they wont feel excluded. I love this concept!They also have a mini cone that they do which is perfect for small kids under the age of 5. Its perfect for their tiny hands to hold. Very fun ice cream shop to bring kids! The ice cream is very good and it is kosher too! The sell kid scoops for $1.50. It is a small amount of ice cream for very little. It is a pretty good deal; not a lot of sugar for the kids and not a lot of money for the parents lol.There is a room that kids can play in; it can also be rented out for events like parties. They even host free movie nights in the room. They have a lot of seats. There is also a large assortment of toys and childrens clothes for sale. The staff are very friendly.

This ice cream spot is not only tasty but absolutely beautiful. The workers there are super friendly. I let them know it was my first time coming to the ice cream shop and they let me try out each flavor. They have honestly the best tasting flavors in that area so far. They are very cautious about allergies so they’re nut free. They have parties there. They cater, and I found out that they do movie nights for children on specific days out the week with ice cream for only about $10, which is great. I definitely will be returning there soon and this time I’m going to take my daughter. Thank you for making my first experience at your location so great, and thanks for my birthday treat.

A La Mode, Noah, and Jen were amazing! We traveled from out of state for my son to be able to try any and EVERY flavor of ice cream in this peanut, tree nut, and sesame free ice cream shop! Noah and Jen welcomed us and provided my son with a fabulous experience! They showed that they truly care about those with food allergies and made sure that my son was able to enjoy anything he wanted (he has never been able to choose any ice cream/toppings in a store before). We will definitely be returning! Thank you for making this such a wonderful and memorable experience!

An incredible idea for people of all ages who have severe allergies. As a nut, dairy, gluten, egg free facility, the ice cream experience is available for everyone to enjoy. The flavors are to die for, the place is adorable, and the workers are so sweet. I would give this 1000 stars if I could!

A la Mode is absolutely amazing!!!! Coming from out of state, I did my research and couldn’t wait to bring my 3 year old daughters to a nut free ice cream shop. It was an amazing experience to see my kids walk into a place and be able to eat everything they had. The shop was spotless, the staff was friendly, and most importantly, the ice cream was amazing. I loved the mini ice cream cone option. My girls left with two ice cream cone dolls, a full belly, and a smile on their faces. I can’t wait to return home to see if Whole Foods can start carrying their product. 5 starts all around!!!!!

Looking forward to going back again. The bill wont shock you.

The Ice cream here is fancy. One of a kind shop and the service staff are some of the best. So many flavors to pick from and recommend their ice cream any day of the week.

The customer service of this business has sold me. The people are nothing but wonderfulnto talk to. Their E-commerce team is fast efficent and always careful with each order. Their attention to detail is impecable. I had some issues with shipping and they more than took care of me and my family. The day we get an A La Mode in Cincinnati were definitly going to be the first group in line!

This was one of the coolest ice cream shops I’ve been to. They offer an allergy free menu. I was able to witness a couple of young kids experience ice cream for the first time. Although it was heart warming, the magic didn’t stop there. They had a cotton candy ice cream and I normally don’t like super sweet, but this place has the best ice cream I’ve ever had. I really enjoyed it, and would go again if I had more money to splurge!

The ice cream here is phenomenal and this is a nut free ice cream shop so that is helpful for my girlfriend who is allergic to nuts and peanuts.Its worth noting that this ice cream shop heavily tailors to children and often when I am there, there are tons of them running around. There is a separate room with tiny tables, chairs, toys etc.Additionally, kids host birthday parties here a lot and when that happens, they close the place to the public. It is ABSOLUTELY worth calling them on the phone anytime before you visit and asking them if theres a party because its a real bummer when you show up to find out theyre closed for a party.The fact that this place closes for parties and is so kid friendly, is the reason why I am giving it 4 stars and not 5. But otherwise, the ice cream is certainly 5 stars.

I am so happy we stopped into this ice cream Shoppe. For beginners, the ice cream was creamy and delicious and the price was right. The gentleman serving us was welcoming and worked through a little rush with no apparent stress. Finally, this place is SPIC AND SPAN CLEAN. So nice to see. The bathroom was glistening. Our family absolutely LOVES Al La Mode. We visit the shop on a weekly basis, and love it so much we just had our daughters birthday party there the other day. The staff put together the most incredible experience for the party, they really pulled out all the stops. Sandy and Noah were in touch with me from the minute I booked the party and were there the day of to ensure everything was just perfect. I cannot say enough great things about this place, wonderful for parties, stopping by for some yummy treats, or even for their Friday night movies, this place is the best thing that came to the Sutton Place neighborhood!

On holidays from Australia with our allergy daughter and we looked for and found this amazing little ice cream shop! This place is amazing, especially for my little girl who has a range of nut/seed allergies. Treats are difficult to manage usually, but she was able to taste everything and really enjoyed herself. Perfect spot for a treat when in the city.

During our visit to NYC, we tried twice to go to alamode because my daughter has allergies that prevent her from eating at ice cream shops. The first time we walked for 30 minutes only to be blocked by the March for Our Lives. The second time we took the subway and then walked for 30 minutes only to find it closed for a birthday party. However, the owner was super nice and came outside to take our order and saved the day! The flavors were great and we would definitely return if we didn’t live 700 miles away.

Im in my thirties and yet HAD to get the pink sprinkle. Creamy and delicious. I dont usually like cones but I decided to be crazy and go for the waffle cone. Definitely the right decision. Was a perfect summer time treat for an early evening stroll.
