I met Linda years ago when I visited her shop. She’s very knowledgeable, excited and passionate about what she does. Although I do not yet own one of her hats, I would highly recommend her, her hats and her beautiful shop to anyone! Her hats are unique and truly beautifully made. Can’t wait for the day I make it back to New York and make the plunge
There are better and higher quality hat shops. Owner was more concerned about people touching her “handmade” inventory than being grateful for having customers. City Hats - just a few blocks down - is the place to go if you want variety of all brands and great client service (try whatever you want!).
786..not only were the hats displayed very interesting in style but the owner and manager were great examples of people with a gregarious personality and very knowledgeable about hats and history..i bought a few hats and have gotten compliments on the style..bottom line looking for an experience check them out..see ya from k
This shop is old-school: personalized service and well-made, handmade hats.
The hats are amazing. Some are like works of art. The staff is friendly, helpful, and knowledgeable. I bought an awesome hat that I now rock proudly, and was taught how to properly care for it. Look forward to my next visit.
Jesse and Linda are wonderful🙋🏼♀️
Its a small shop with friendly, knowledgeable staff, and it smells nice. It has a larger selection of womens headwear, and their mens styles are more than adequate. It can get crowded pretty quickly, especially just after lunch. Naturally, they also do alterations and custom orders. Youd be disappointed only if you were looking for a baseball cap or beanie.
ALERT. DON’T come here if you have hats to repair that you did not buy here. This is a point that should have been pronounced on their site before I caught 2 rains and walked 7 minutes to get here. Not at all happy about it.
Quality products and super-nice sales lady. I bought one of their ready-to-wear fedora and a newsboy cap, both fit perfectly. They have different styles of hats, both for men and women, and my overall impression of their collection is classy or quaint, not your street baseball cap. They also offer customer-made service should you require.
Handmade hats are good
The best hat shop Ive ever been to. From very exotic derby hats to classic sun hats, they have everything you could want. Yes, theyre expensive but you get what you pay for and they wear beautifully.
Best store anywhere to buy beautiful and stylish hats. I now have purchased four of them. Love the service too !!
Hats from around the world with good service and very special vibe.
Love this shop. Beautiful hats, passionate and informed store owner. Highly recommend.
There is a magical woman here who loves what she does and will ignite your love of hats. A great spot in NYC that will remind you of what makes this city special.
Amazing little shop. Linda, the owner, is the most amazing person. Go to see this store!
A hidden gem of a store! Linda was so amazingly helpful and welcoming.
Brilliant. The shoo looks really authentic and has a wide variety of really fine hats
I initially had difficulty, but the owner called me personally to set things straight. I recommend The Hat Shop without reservation.
Great styles. Can be custom ordered in a variety of colors and sizes. Incredibly knowledgeable.
The owner is magical... Good Chi!
Linda is very helpful and knowledgeable. Nice variety, fair prices
Such a cool hat shop, def check it out.
For “beyond gorgeous” “hats that get comments on the street” and “make you stand out among the crowd”, the millinery minded say it’s hard to top this “brilliant” SoHo shop with a colorful ’60s vibe; also carrys up to date styles
Customer service is excellent here
Outstanding Hats
Friendly and reasonable price. If midtown JJ Hat seeks to be okay, there are many unique designs here. The downside is that the shop is small and there are few items. Its better to come around and look around rather than just looking at this store.
Beautiful variety for gifts and much more
