TLDR: Cannot recommend Ram & Wes enough. They are both fantastic dudes to hang out with. 10/10 get a hat from them. Whether its a crazy custom concept (read on to hear more about my experience dreaming something up) or one of the awesome ready-to-wears, you cannot go wrong. Quality is top notch. Value for money is off the charts. Just recognize you are getting a piece of art, and that it will cost you at least $700 ++ to do so.My Story:I came to Ryan with a custom hat concept that I had been mulling over for a while. The idea was to create an olive drab hat with a painted pattern overlaid on the color for some texture. Ryan admittedly didnt know exactly how to pull it off, but was eager to try.I think the best part of my many trips to the shop to work on the hat with the team was not just hanging out with Ryan & Wes (which was always a treat). The shop is sick and the vibes are even better. The best part is how open and inclusive the process is. If you want to take part in making a custom concept come to life, you can do it here. If you’re looking for a high quality custom hat you need to get one from ryan. I have gotten 6 custom felt fedoras from other hat makers in my lifetime and my most recent one was purchased from Ryan, I can confidently say that his work and also his customer service blows all the other hat makers away, all the way from the custom craftsmanship work to the super high quality ribbons and the wax coated threads that he uses, followed up by the silk lining inside with the real leather sweatband all fitted perfectly. I can keep going on but I want to keep it short. If you want super custom and fitted perfectly then you need to try Ryans work you will not be disappointed I can promise you that.
