Went to Flamekeepers a year ago and had the coolest hat shopping experience ever. The selection was great and the prices were reasonable. I dont wear fedora style hats (or brims at all for that matter), but I was made to feel so comfortable, Im going back for another one.

I first visited this place back in 2014 after reading about it in the Daily News. This Harlem establishment just reeks of coolness. Great selection of quality, high-end hats. I have been wearing my hat for almost 5 years now and youd think I bought it yesterday. Also, the staff is very friendly and helpful. This is the type of a business you want to see it thrive. Most of New York has been sullied by franchises and national brand names. But what gives New York its unique character are places like these.
