Using ingenuity and leverage, David at Union Square Supply was solved an unusual hardware problem for me on the fly. I am very grateful for his willingness to look into the question on the spot, and to solve it simply and quickly. I plan to stop by Union Square Supply for materials and advice in future.

I had to get a second key made for my apartment and the key is not standard so I had gone to a few places and they were not able to make it. I finally came here and they were able to make my key very quickly and the people were super nice. I highly recommend this place!

Theyll suggest solutions to problems you have if they have anything that might help, and were able to find me the right size hardware to replace a drawer handle successfully today.

I make copies of keys every week. Not only is the staff here friendly, accommodating and knowledgeable, but this store also has by far the best prices I’ve seen for making copies of keys. If you do real estate near Union Square, you’re messing up going anywhere else.

They sold me a defective lightbulb and refused to exchange it for one that worked. I brought the bulb and receipt back to the store and the manager Domingo claimed that all his lightbulbs are perfect and that I just have ruined it somehow.

Helpful people. More oriented to the home owner than construction. No small store price shocks.

This place barely has any stock items that are useful - only one painter tape option. I needed tape for a painting project and tested the blue tape I bought (the only option) and it was terribly cheap but cost $10 per roll. Went to return the rest of the UNOPENED tape 15 minutes later and was told the only option was store credit - no returns. Garbage.

Just got my new key copied here! Im very happy about it as apparently it is a hard key to copy ( had tried a few places and this is the only one that was able to do it ). The staff is very helpful, highly recommend!
