Never had a problem with them very helpful. The first time was for someone to put in a new lock on my door he came quick put it in and left. Every time I go there the vibe is good.

Having patronized this real old-time mom-and-pop hardware store off and on for 15 years, I cannot recall a time I was unable to get the specific item I sought. When I enter a place like this which looks deceptively small from the outside, I make it a point not to engage staff. Instead, I want the opportunity to explore an endangered species, packed to the gills with every possible useful hardware item in a place now being threatened by accelerated neighborhood re-zoning and gentrification. Your Home Depot has basic assemblages of things. Nunez discount gets into the nitty gritty with concentrations of lesser-known products popular to neighborhood residents but generally unfamiliar to visitors from elsewhere. A class operation.

The workers here are great and very knowledgable of hardwares. I purchased a new light bulb for my kitchen, and didnt bother bringing the old one with me (wouldve spared me a double trip). Anyway, I called them up to inform them that I purchased the wrong sized bulb, and they told me no problem to just come back with the receipt and the bulb for an exchange/refund of the difference. They were quick at handling my case and I was happily on my way.Ive purchased that bulb several months ago, no problems yet. Ill definitely purchase another one when I need it. Their prices are affordable, not compared to those other hardware stores that charge high prices.
