Truly awful experience trying to buy an air conditioner; the price just kept going up and up. Only saving grace was that they wouldnt take my credit card over the phone, and when I walked over to pay (upon which the price was increased yet again -- and I declined to make the purchase), I passed another hardware store on the way home that had the exact same air conditioner, but with installation for substantially less money. And they did a great, professional job.

To me this place is not just a regular hardware store ... the Staff is extremely knowledgeable about everything from plumbing, electric, locksmith etc. level of expertise is impressive.On several occasions I was “stuck” in some self attempted home projects... and he helped me not by just giving me verbal advice but also by taking his time and actually creating parts for me from other scrap parts to make things fit and work. ( saved me lots of money by not having to call a locksmith )Highly recommended !

Helpful, honest and convenient. Theyre not as cheap as HomeDepot or Amazon but genuinely feels better to give your money to people in the community.

It gets five stars for being a terrific neighborhood hardware store, Manhattan-style. It’s cramped and you need to ask the friendly and knowledgeable staff if you want to find anything, but it has almost everything you need. Non-NYers will be shocked to see a hardware store get five stars even though it’s so small compared to the monster chain stores of suburbia, but you have to shop here to understand.

Good selection of lights bulbs. Every time i need to change my bulbs, here where i do my trip. Good service. Thank you for been here.

Incredibly rude and unhelpful

I come to this hardware store for mostly everything. They are very nice and helpful guys. Any household items they have. They sell ac, they make keys, also they can fix your light fixtures ETC.

Went in to get some painters tape. The clerk asked me how my day was and I told him that my purse strap had broken. He asked to take a look at it and gave me a free temporary fix. Very nice staff and a well stocked store.
