The worst customer service ever. I was quoted $350 for two aircondition and small TV mount, I confirmed the price TWO TIMES. The person came and installed the air conditioners then said that he didnt have time and was not told about the TV mount. When I called I was told it was $500 because they needed to get insurance. (Should have told me that upfront).there was no apology.. So I ended up having to pay someone else $80 to put up the TV mount. Then when I went in to pay the lady was super rude. I usually dont write bad reviews but this really made me angry. I am not someone who needs to be coddled but at least make eye contact and maybe apologize for their mistake. Will not be going there again.Follow up from last post. I did receive a call from Segundo offering to put up my TV and received an apology which was greatly appreciated, but unfortunately I have already paid someone else. So I will change my review to 3 stars.

The owner and the staff are SO RUDE!!! I would give this place zero stars if i could. It is WAY overpriced and you will be bothering the staff if you ask them any questions or expect them to do their job in any way. this store is right near my place, and i would take the train all the way, wasting time and money, to the nearest home depot just to avoid this toxic place and behavior directed at customers.edit: My complaints are directly with the way the staff treated me. no eye contact, hostilely showed me where the paint was located. Just RUDE interactions all around. Not worth the abuse going here. I just wanted to have a normal, unhostile convo. if you do not have the product, it’s no prob. the attitude is the problem.“small family business” makes them sound like a nice sweet family running this shop… they are not. All i want is to come into a shop and politely ask a question without feeling like i’m annoying the person by having the audacity to have a question.

Prices are very reasonable and they are beyond helpful. I purchased two 1-1/8 mortise cylinder locks, only $20 each, with no charge for re-keying one of them. Also they have a grinding wheel and removed 1/16 of material from a lock cam, only $3. Plus they have a table saw, Ill be bringing them a job for that as well. It is great to have a real workshop as opposed to a store that can do nothing but sell you blister packs hanging on pegboards. What a great resource.

Fairly expensive for basic tools and no returns at all.

They also install air conditioners! I needed the job done immediately and on Sunday, of Memorial Day Weekend, I called in to the hardware store and was connected with Sam, the installer, within 10 minutes. BTW he also does lock changes. He and one other person came over and the job was done in less than 30 minutes. He also advised on how he could do the job with the least amount of damage to the building and really explained things for my benefit. I highly recommend them and they also have a great set of supplies in the shop.

Go for the parrot who makes fart sounds, stay for pretty much everything you need when it comes to arts and hardware. The staff are all super friendly and helpful - and patient; I tend to go in confused and always leave with exactly what I needed, thanks to their expertise and helpful creative insights/opinions.
