A pro of this store is they have good selection and smaller shops inside like artichokes and others. The cons are the insanely high prices for everything, the staff are rude and not paying attention, and the even with the line 20+ people long at 5 PM on a weekday there will only be two registers open.Better options for grocery shopping include the key foods which is a five minute walk away or whole foods around a twenty minute walk away. But this place works if you only need a couple things.
Good variety of food options from salads to deli sandwiches to chop cheese and all excellent quality.
I love this grocery store/ food hall. Upstairs there are different vendors (Artichoke Pizza, Vanessas Dumpling, Beyond Sushi, Juice Brothers, Cinnamon Snail) as well as hot and cold food bars, a salad station, and a deli/ sandwich station. Downstairs there is a fully stocked grocery store. The produce is always fresh and the prices are great!!
Excellent presentation of products. A calm & quiet shopping experience. Very helpful & super friendly people whom obviously enjoy working here. Holiday displays look wonderful as well as flowers, produce, meat, cheese & packaged items. I found several options including organic for everything I needed. Will definitely shop here again. :)
Awesome cavernous supermarket with 2 levels of all that one could need.
Great place for groceries shopping in lower Manhattan
Every time I go there, something is wrong. Last night Thomas original was marked on sale for $2.50. Large sticker on actual product. I arrived home and realized I was charged full price, $4.99. Every single time they make mistakes.
Their variety is out of this world dude. Lack in customer service thought but no prob.
Fresh food makes you want to buy the whole the place.
“Run of the mill” local Manhattan grocer. Prices are slightly higher..but you’re paying for convenience. Lower level staff is on point, and generally helpful. The owners should consider assessing their cashier staff and bring them up to speed as it relates to entry level customer service. The laziest department by far. No hello, no thank you and they don’t help you bag your groceries. Usually on their iPhones until you inconvenience them with a purchase.
They dont hv viagra 😅🤣😂
This place is way bigger than what it appears to be on the outside. Its a full blown supermarket with tons of high quality products. The prices are high but expected for the neighborhood
Small but well run specialty grocery. One of the few in the area. A bit pricey but not out of line. Great cheese section and veggies are fresh and well stocked. Small butcher and seafood. The upstairs is a small food court that caters to the lunch crowd (which is presently non-existent).
Amazing variety and great quality of food items available in a tiny corner of the street
Pretty cool place with a surprisingly big selection of goods to choose from!
Its cute a little tight but the entire grocery store is underground which is pretty cool. When you walk in if you want to get your main items - food stuff, fruits and whatnot- go to the elevator and go downstairs. Been walking through here for the past couple of years and I never knew there was a downstairs area.
Really nice cheese department
Door was hard to open but once inside I could Smell the Steamers which looked to have good food...I chose the Deli. Really a Mistake because Deli Guy didnt want to make my Sandwich said he doesnt Eat or like Pig!! Manager insisted, an I got a Sandwich with One Slice of Cheese, Gobbs of Mayonnaise and a Bit of Ham!! Help Im still Hungry!!
First time visisting this place on my 6th visit to NYC. Did not disappoint. Be cautious, they do enforce mask guidelines even if youre only drinking water.
Like the size of the Margherita slices but didnt like the price!
Simply put, the best grocery store in FiDi. The upper floor has prepared foods (sandwiches, salads, and a few takeaway places like Artichoke Basille pizza,), and the downstairs has fresh produce, meats, and the rest of the groceries. Its s nice store, and they have a lot of variety for a relatively small footprint.
Nice organized and friendly staff
A little bit pricey but thats normal for this area. The checkout staff is always so nice and friendly and helpful!
I live upstairs and it’s super convenient and the prices aren’t bad. The staff is always super helpful and happy. They did an amazing job during the beginning of covid. They were diligent with cleaning and setting safe boundaries within the store.
Great neighborhood store, like a smaller Whole Foods. Great selection...and the take out spots inside are great. A little expensive but about average for the FiDi area.
Excellent food selection. Quick checkout service..
It’s small but effective. Packed with places to eat and grocery items to get. It’s a bit pricey for your everyday grocery haul but it’s good to pick up some missing items or grab a snack. There are random cheap items mixed in with the overpriced items. It’s always fun to discover those. It’s the closest grocery to where I live so I frequent City Acres quite a bit to grab a few items as things run out.
This place is awesome. Totally hidden gem down on Cedar and Pearl. I was so surprised to find an entire floor of prepared foods, from sushi to deli to Vanessas dumplings, as well as a complete (albeit a tad expensive), supermarket dowstairs with some fab produce, a full meat and fish counter and a ton of specialty items. Freezing in there though! Bring a sweater!
A nice high end grocery store. This place is no Whole Foods, but its much fancier than the other grocery stores nearby. If youre looking for better cheeses, a decent cut of meat, or just the better brand of something, this is the place to go in FiDi. And they have enough cashiers so you can get in and out quickly.
The staff in the deli was decent. But as far as the cashiers very rude .
Loved the attentive nature of the staff and the quality of the goods sold.
So cute, love the set up in here
The store has a good selection of items though they are a bit pricier than other places I’ve been in the area. It’s kinda hard to find stuff and it was even harder to find an employee to ask for help.Still, nice place
One of the best grocery stores in the neighborhood, if a little high-end.
Nice grocery store one floor down there is magic place ☺️
Decent selection and convenient. Expect to easily pay >150% per item compared to other nyc grocery stores. Would probably reserve shopping here only for when you’re in a pinch.
My favorites are the freshly prepared rotisserie chickens. The incredible assortment of fresh fruits and vegetables. The selection of cheeses downstairs and the freshly prepared sandwiches upstairs are both impressive.
This supermarket has a Pizzeria inside, a Deli, and other specialties. Still exploring this market.
Expensive, but its the neighborhood, what do you expect? Other than that, friendly staff and good selection of groceries. It has just about everything I want or need, pretty much.
Fresh produce, great prices.
Good food for price
Nice clean grocery store/deli with all the essentials, avoid the place between 11:30 am and 1:30 its a zoo for lunch BUT the line always moves. Nice deli counter with Boars Head products. Never bought anything from the hot table but people seem to really go for it. Downstairs has essential veggies, groceries, nice cheese counter, meat counter not great.
Doesn’t deliver but doesn’t have bags with handles. Jubilee here I come.
This is such a nice grocery store
A bit pricy but they have artichoke pizza!
This has been my go-to grocery store since moving into the area!
Tiny market, but typical for this area. Huge cheese selection.
Nice full size grocery market NYC downtown pricing hold cold prep fresh frozen all kind of food, butcher shop downstairs, clean easy to find stuff two elevators to sub cellars, best store in wall street area
Great variety of food in this compact market. Everything from snacks, vegan options to comfort food. Theres a great by the pound takeout buffet with diverse offerings of sides, meat & fish. This place is like a gourmet deli on steroids.
Great 👍 Amazing place Lots Of Eateries 2 Choose From
This market is awesome. Great prices. I would have never known if I didnt go in. Place is HUGE. Like suburban store size. Prepared foods were cheap too.
Staff are super nice and the selection is great. Prices are pretty good for groceries. Didnt buy any of the ready-made food or drinks but there were a lot of options for different diets. Even have a nice cheese section downstairs where you can taste test. Guy working that section was incredibly kind and helpful.
Do not satisfied with my last visit here
Open late!! Full cooked chicken 🤤 will shop again thank you!!
Best soup dumplings!!
I really like the Nutty Buddy smoothie. However, I’ve tried to pick up a MealPal here at lunchtime, and sometimes there’s nobody staffing the place. Last weekend I had a uniquely bad experience where the staff member made me the wrong drink and continued to insist it was what I had ordered, even though it wasn’t. Sometimes staff is very friendly and helpful, but it is hit-or-miss.
Ate artichoke pizza here yesterday. Best pizza I have eaten in my life and I dont say it lightly because am a foodie and a first class cook to boot. A must visit for a pizza fan. The place has lots of goodies to offer . They sell lots of stuff too in that place .
Produce items are poorly marked (if at all). Too frequently I am overcharged on items because the cashier rings up a different item... in general everything is way overpriced. However, the location is convenient if you live nearby and alternatives are few. If you do shop here, just pay attention to the prices. It has a decent selection, is clean and I rarely have had to wait in line.
Great food and excellent option with way more variety than whole foods market.
I’ve been coming here for awhile since it’s close by but to be honest it’ll be worth going a few extra blocks to avoid buying their produce/bakery items only to find out it’s gone bad. Too many times I’ve purchased their pre sliced fruits and vegetables that look fine from the outside but turn out to be smelly or moldy once I open it. Just tonight this happened with their donuts that definitely should not have been on the shelves. Artichoke and Vanessa’s are great, but other than that it’s worth going somewhere else.
Great spot for a quick lunch in Fido. Lots of different counters and vendors and options. VEGAN/VEGETARIAN ALERT: amazing options!!!! Beyond sushi is vegan and so delicious. Beware, pricey for the healthy items - of course!
One of my favorite places to eat in fidi, it has a Dumpling House, and artichoke Pizza, sandwiches, and a hot food selection that you pay for by the pound. I honestly believe you can always find something to eat here if you just walk around for a little bit. Prices are decent as well, given its location. Its pretty centrally-located 2 Wall Street, but is very easily missed because of its location. Make sure to walk to the corner of the block on 70 Pine, across the street from the dig in. You will find it there.
I miss these guys... I lived in the neighborhood for 3 years and loved City Acres Market... I always loved seeing Charlie and Louie... I moved a year and a half ago and I could never find a market in my neighborhood I like as much... I miss you guys... please move to the mission.
Great quick food selections upstairs, full grocer downstairs. Top management and friendly managers, unfortunately the checkout staff is not up to the same quality level. Please dont bark next to me. Please have a smile. Please pay attention to me when Im at your register and not your conversation with your coworker as if Im an intrusion in your day. A great shopping experience always turns sour when checking out.
The only drawback to this variety food market is the basic item prices, like paper goods and other non- food items. But the value pricing for meat which is all USDA Fresh Choice and Prime, fish is fresh, and the cheese and fresh veggies departments are only bested by Eataly. Cant be beat and they are open every day long hours.Wonderful family owns it, they go out of their way to help you.Loads of prepared foods and salads and sandwiches made fresh to order or take out.Two floors, great stuff in lower level.A must use in FiDi.
Decent food. Buffet style along with many small vendors such as dumplings ramen and more groceries on the bottom floor. Not cheap but not expensive given its the city.
Very rude staff at checkout. cant say hello. 1 is chewing gum like a cow. and the other is chatting with other colleagues. none of them can laugh. they may pay more attention to their customers and provide better services. not a nice store with this staff at the checkout
Not bad but pricey but to be expected being in fidi Manhattan.
Great market store. Buffet style food on the first floor. Fully oparated supermarket on lower level. Good place to shop!
Wild looking barriers, ive never seen ones like this before. These will get the job done.Keep up the great work, New York City.Keep everybody safe loved visiting.
Nice place very pricey but good products
Similar to Whole Foods in a smaller size, but less busy, nicer and more pleasant to shop in. Very clean, lots of choices in the market area on the lower level. Meat, fish and poultry are good and not expensive. The salad bar is very tasty! I definetely recommend this place!
Convenient bodega/grocery store located in the heart of fidi. Ultra clean and well managed. Super helpful staff. Cannot ask for more.
It’s a small grocery store in the Financial District. The prices are a little high; however, the produce prices were decent. I ordered a deli sandwich and it was delicious. It was big enough to share.
Lots of vegan options in a bright, clean space. Donuts, brunch, sushi and other Japanese-inspired food, smoothies, and raw vegan desserts. Yum! The grocery on the lower level is a little pricey
Absolutely the best cold pressed juices in town! Love the different flavors! And hooked to the açaí bowl.
Absolute best acai bowl Ive ever had! Juices are excellent too - highly recommended if you need a healthy and tasty fix.
Cinnamon Snail and Beyond Sushi in one place, whats not to love? Lots of vegan options. The downstairs grocery section is nice, but selection could be better.
Nice selection. Fresh meat. Great place to pick up food for dinner after work if youre near Wall St. If youre not up to cooking, they also have a good selection of pre-made food.
Grocery store with organic products with sales. Two levels. Main floor includes take out.
Decent grocery with conveniently situated mini-foodcourt of: Vanessa’s Dumplings, Artichoke Basille Pizza, juice/bakery spot, Sushi, and a deli + salad bar + hot bar.If I don’t have time to walk to Whole Foods, this is a fine backup grocery. Higher prices but good selection including of vegan/dairy free products. Vanessa’s, van leeuwen pints ($8, $6 when on sale) and the other in-store food chains makes it a frequent stop for me. Prefer fresh produce at jubilee.Has seating and silverware dispensers/condiments inside as well, and a loyalty program.
Best supermarket in FiDi.
Unhelpful staff when looking for items. Cashier wouldn’t give me a bag to pack my items rather ask customers about watch bands
Ver nice supermarket with great variety of healthy and organic products. Also has a modest but good selection of beers. It is not cheap but I think it is mostly reasonable.
Great grocery store with a food court that is outstanding. My favourite is the cinnamon snail. They have a good beer selection as well.
This is a great place for a quick stop to get your food and beverage necessities and also prepared foods.
Love the juices. Juice brothers açaí bowl is also amazing. Friendly staff, and always very helpful.
Always something wonderful to eat! Perfect place for vegans
As most downtown NYC markets, its tight and crowded, and prices you have to close your eyes about and just swallow hard, but they have an amazing # of items crammed into the space on two levels. Has elevator! Obviously limited space limits supermarket level availability, but they have more good and high quality choices than the Gristedes just around the corner. If you live anywhere near the original restored AIG building, or are visiting some nearby, its the closest good place to pick up good stuff fast, including high quality prepared foods or prime fish, meats or cold cuts and cheeses.
My favorite place to shop in FiDi.
Meh...but it is closer than any other market. Also, Beyond Sushi, Artichoke pizza and the dumpling place are petty good
One of my favorite place to get lunch. So many choice fromVegan food to Asian food. Highly recommended!
