My favorite new shop in Chelsea Market!The staff were warm and friendly. Also, very knowledgeable about the merchandise.The store is has many different types of products from vaporizers to rolling papers. Some really unique glass items as well. Theres also a wonderful collection of Jonathan Adler merchandise. Which is awesome!This is definitely a one of a kind type of shop. Check it out, youll be glad you did.

Fun store with branded and white lable products. They also have some I guess accessory art that is listed between 8-33k which was interesting

All around great finds.

Great selection of higher end options here. They have everything on display for you to touch (with the salesman’s or saleswoman’s supervision) and compare. The team running the shop is also super friendly and not too pushy.

I hadnt really been smoking anything since the late 60s, but with my kids, and now even my eldest grandkids telling me I should, I visited Higher Standards. Its like a luxury boutique for weed accessories. Never in my life did I think Id see the day. Thank you to Joey, I really enjoy my Pax 3. I may be back for the volcano one day.

If you’re looking for a place to grab gifts for the special herbalist in your life then stop by this store. Me and my fiancé happened to walk in just by chance on our way to the market after being lured by the bright orange Volcano vaporizer in the window. It took us a few minutes to even realize we were in a “lifestyle shop” because of the “higher standards” of goods. Designer ashtrays, designer water pipes, designer stashes, blackwing pencils, a full line of vaporizers, and so much more for the good green enthusiast; and all at reasonable prices which was quite the surprise. There was little to no markup on items when other stores of this niche would price up products almost 100% over online retail shops. Walked out with a Puff Co Peak with accessories and a great experience.

This place is the bomb. All the best brands for vaporization and accessories. I love the vibe -- it isnt the dingy head shop of the 90s.

I wish I could give it ten stars. They totally helped me when my volcano needed repair. What would I have done before? This is an awesome shop.

The Higher Standards had elevated Smoke Shop experience from anything traditional you knew. The brand and the shop stay behind their name and deliver truly high end merchandise with superb customer service and knowledge.

This shop is ideal if youre a rube who doesnt compare prices or shop around, or a tourist whos never seen a bong before. I had been here before to buy a grinder, I opted for a higher end one and the difference between a $20 and $60 grinder is night and day. Little bit pricier than online but I abide by buy once cry once when investing in equipment for long term use. With this mantra in mind I went back a few days later to purchase a vaporizer that retails around $350. I had done some research and asked if they price match with online retailers, the manager said yes so i showed him an authorized retailers website listing the same machine for less than $300 with free shipping. thats too much of a discount and walked away from me. So I left. Or i tried to, another manager yelled for me to come back in then angrily asked WHY WOULD YOU DO THAT? Indeed, why would a consumer prefer to buy the exact same item at a lower price elsewhere? Somebody call Scooby Doo, we got a mystery on our hands. When i explained that i was leaving because the other manager abandoned me and it was cheaper elsewhere, she rolled her eyes. Later that day my colleague from out of town went in there to get CBD, but balked when they revealed the price as 3x what he pays at his local shop for the same brand.

Beautiful store! Unbelievable set up. Would love to give you alllllllll my money. Staff is really sweet. The owner however is a dude bro who is dismissive and corporate AF! The owner would could be cool if A) he wouldn’t misgender me B) he would actually look at me instead of continuing to tap away at your computer while I am speaking to you (rude) C) recognize that it is a buyers market and that you do have the ability to negotiate pricing. Even if you’re “coorporate”, it’s retail. I came all the way from Brooklyn to support your space (which I have visited two times prior to today). Save your overly priced items that are more than they would be if I was to find it online for the tourist. Very disappointing.

Learned a lot about how I wasnt using my Pax 3 correctly. Im really grateful for the time the staff took to help me out.
