This place is awesome, unlike your large Dept store “toy section”, think of Mary Arnold Toys as a mini FAO Schwartz but much better! Obviously it’s smaller, but every shelf is worth a double take, very unique and fun toys for all ages, I highly recommend!

Amazing selection of educational, regular toys, and board games. I came there during Christmas shopping and they handled the hectic energy very professionally. Also gave free gift wrapping!

Shopping here for decades. Bought a toy that was broken at purchase. We thought it just needed new batteries. 2 days later I asked if, while deliverer is out, they would pick up broken toy and deliver a working one. I was told NO. I’m not vaccinated nor do I live nearby. I’m surprised at the lack of interest during this strange time.

Amazing local toy store. This place is an institution and always has all the classics like People Blocks, Legos, and Magna-Tiles in stock to the new trendy toys that kids must have for the school year and holiday. Staff is amazing and can answer any question you can think of.

This is one terrific toy store for adults and children. Several aisles of shelves loaded with toys and the staff is very helpful.

Lots of toys, play and coloring books as well as books for stickers, some of the toys are a bit more expensive than the online shopping competition, been here multiple times, the kids love it ofcourse. Good for last minute - dont want to wait for Amazon to deliver neighborhood store

This is an amazing toy store with a wide range of toys, books and anything else you can think of for kids. The staff are knowledgeable and incredibly helpful. Whenever my son gets invited to a birthday party I head up to the store and talk to a sales person about what to get based on what little I know about the birthday boy or girl.

Brought the kids to the best toy shop on earth and spent 3 hours here. They just didnt want to leave. Ended up having to catch a cab back to the apartment due to the many shopping bags we had to haul back.

Such friendly and helpful staff in this shop. They not only helped me find my end destination but also gave me loads of advice as to things to do and places to look for. They really didnt need to do that, but they took the time to do it...thats a rare thing these days!

A few weeks ago, I searched Google for a toy store in Manhattan where I could get some construction equipment for my grandson for his birthday. Imagine my surprise whe I found this store: local, not a chain, with a large inventory of Bruder products. I bought him a front loader and a steamroller. The staff was very helpful. The steamroller was broken as we discovered after taking it out of the box at his birthday party. Broken in a way that it had to have been a manufacturing defect. I brought it back to the store and waited 10 or 15 minutes while the clerk disappeared with it. When she came back, she told me I should have returned it earlier, within 14 days (? it was within the 30 day return period and, besides, it was defective), and that there would be a restocking fee. I found another one on the shelf and said I would take that one in exchange. Further, I would not pay a restocking fee. After not inconsiderable resistance she relented. Not even an apology for having sold defective merchandise. I will never shop there again and recommend that my friends avoid the store as well.
