I was introduced to Ali and Fabric House around November 2020. I had an event to go to and I was getting a custom dress made by Gabriela Luna who has her showroom inside of the store. It was my first time ever getting any sort of custom clothing done and I was a little nervous because I did not know anything about the process or what to expect. From start to finish, Fabric House and Gabriela were amazing! They made the process extremely easy and stress free. They were always available to answer all of my questions and very accommodating when it came to scheduling fittings. Ali was very informative and honest which in turn led me to convince my partner to return his Armani suit that he had purchased for our event and get a custom one done by Fabric House and Rick Bailey instead. He was extremely satisfied with the outcome and even said their suit looked and felt so much better than the designer one he had purchased prior to coming to Fabric House with me. The attention to detail that was provided by Fabric House, Gabriela Luna and Rick Bailey, as well as the quality of their work is unmatched and they have gained a lifelong customer with me! I would highly recommend them to anyone looking to get anything custom done!

First of, Im glad Fabric House is still around. Surviving this pandemic. Before Covid, my Mom and I usually go here to buy materials for her customers. Ali and the rest of the staff are always nice and accomodating. Since I dont want my Mom to go to the city yet, we decided to order stuff by phone and Ali, is still as nice eventhough we are only doing the whole transaction by phone. I also want to commend him for not being greedy just to make a sale. We were looking for a silk georgette in burgundy. He told me it is best if we just go to the store so we can get the best shade of burgundy that we need because it will be a waste of our money if we had it shipped then its the wrong one. What a decent person. Nowadays, its a rarity esp. when you have a business like this. Anyway, received my order today. It was fast.Keep it up, Ali. And praying Fabric House stays afloat. Great selection of fabrics.. something amazing available for most budgets.. and all this is done without overstimulating with a ton of cheap filler fabrics.. you just see what you need!! Like all fabric stores fabric, fabric, fabric everywhere, they have nice selection and you able to negotiate price. After I spent my money, I saw the sales clerk outside and he acted as if he didnt just have a conversation with me one minute ago....lookin at he CRAZY

I just want to thank the staff for fixing my dogs stuffed bunny. It was torn, the stuffing was gone, and it was beyond my ability to repair. This project was beneath their skill level but they treated it with the utmost respect. Bunny now has a fancy new outfit and my dog Lucy is very happy. If they give this much love and care to a stuffed animal can you imagine what they would do for your wedding dress, special outfit, or formal gown.

My wedding dress got lost in the mail and it was 3 days before my wedding, they were able to fit me into one of their sample dresses and alter it to fit me and perfectly for my wedding, I am forever grateful for them! Ali and his team is great, make you feel so welcome and at home and will work with you at your request with anything you may need! Lunna is an amazing designer and very professional. I guess I can say I was so lucky to know of them and thank you for helping me look beautiful on my big day! I will be definitely doing business with them again.

I came here looking for fabric to make and sew my own wedding dress in a matter of two short months. I ended up leaving with more than I could have ever imagined! Everyone was beyond helpful, I found out you can have your wedding dress actually made here by Strugala the Label! Kay was able to make the most beautiful wedding dress, more amazing than anything I could have found or attempted to make myself. She was able to do it in the short amount of time I had! Everyone here is so friendly, accommodating, and beyond helpful. I can’t thank you all enough, I had no idea I would end up leaving this store with not fabric but with the most gorgeous wedding dress!!

I must say I do not need to get my fabric any place else. They have numerous selections and the help was great very memorable. To the point that they even delivered overseas. Ali is the best! Super cool guy, funny, knowledgeable, and honest. My fiance (at the time) and I who had zero experience with the fashion district spent months fabric shopping for various outfits we needed made for our wedding reception, and from the minute we walked in Ali was helpful. Even referring us to other places (he can give you the low down on all the stores worth knowing in the fashion district) to find exactly what we needed. We kept coming back to him because other stores were either shady or rude or just didnt have what we needed. We did end up buying some fabric from him, but actually, this review isnt even about that. Its about his customer service and in-house design team. I had bought expensive lace from another store that I gave to a designer to sew for me, and turns out he had zero clue what the heck he was doing. I had to coach him most of the way, and every time he screwed something up, I was the one coming up with solutions. It got so bad that I had to just ask for my unfinished gown and any leftover lace so that I could get it finished somewhere else. Fortunately he gave me the unfinished piece, but by then he had pretty much butchered all my lace. Ali was my knight in shining armor. With my wedding just ONE WEEK away, he offered to have one of his designer/seamstresses finish it, and even found the perfect shade of tulle that I needed for the skirt so that I wouldnt have to waste time running around the fashion district, and the whole time he kept assuring me that they were gonna take care of me and to trust him. And they did. My gown was gorgeous! It was done professionally and with gorgeous attention to detail and was finished just in time for my wedding. Their services arent cheap but they will be fair and totally worth the cost. FYI - I had another outfit made by another designer around the same time (but no last minute emergency), and that one came out amazing as well.Whether youre looking for a stress-free experience fabric shopping, or youre looking to get a dress made, I highly recommend Fabric House.
