I often forget this Apple Store is here, I’ve visited this location on several occasions. I needed to purchase a new charger for work. I was able to go on the Apple Store App on my phone and make the purchase that morning and scheduled pick up for later on in the afternoon. Upon arriving to the store there is hand sanitizer at the doors. There is also a box of masks for anyone entering without a mask. Upon my entry a gentleman behind me did not have a mask on and security asked him to put one on. I was greeted by staff and once I informed them, I was there to pick up my items they directed me to a location so I could wait for the next available staff to assist me. I waited almost 10-15 minutes for someone to come over, the representative ushered me over to a table where he scanned my QR code and then I waited maybe 5 minutes for another representative to bring the items out to. The staff members were very polite. I would visit this store again. It’s accessible via public transportation. I’m not certain if they are taking walk in customers at this time.

Went to pick up the new iPhone on the day of its release. It was perfectly organized and I held it in my hands 2min prior to the end of my window. Impressive.That said, for set up, the staff wasn’t as supportive as they could have been, which is a bit disappointing given that people just left 1k USD there and bought some additional accessories.. wouldn’t hurt to have them install the glass cover if they can’t make a better screen.. I generally love that store, though, and turning the phone in was super easy too.

Helpful and very nice folk here- Apple has really cracked the code on hiring true customer service oriented folk. Every single staff member seemed genuinely hyped to be there, and ready to help,,- at one point, two guys almost bumped into each other, as they rushed over to me to help me operate an elevator designated for wheelchairs, but that they offered to let me use for my 1 year old and his stroller.

By far the WORST consumer experience and the WORST customer service! I beg you, if you are looking for a quality product and quality service do not shop here and stay away from Apple products all together. They are happy to take your hard earned money but refuse provide help whenever something goes wrong.My wife purchased an Apple Macbook Air M1 2 months ago. Apparently their computer screens are prone to pressure cracks and EXTREMELY fragile. We did not know this. A few days ago my wife was watching a movie on her new computer. She made a mistake and held the computer by the screen to adjust the computers position and a second later a big internal crack appeared on the screen and it was covered in glitches.My wife immediately contacted Apple for help but was given the run around for an entire week. They kept on escalating the case to different people and giving her different answers on how they could help but kept it very vague. After spending a good chunk of hard earned change on this, after only 2 months of usage, we were beyond shocked.Long story short. We went into the store today to take in the computer. A manager spoke with us. He was extremely unemphatic to our situation, read over his notes from our telephone thread, and told us that there is again NOTHING THAT CAN BE DONE. We must pay $500 to fix the screen.I called Apple customer service when we got home again, asking for help. They did the same thing. They put me on hold while they looked over their notes and then I got transferred to a specailist who proceeded to immediately tell us the same bad news. They will not be taking any action to help. We have to pay to full price to get it fixed. The warranty doesnt cover our issue. He proceeded to put the blame on my wife because she shouldnt have held the computer the way she did. Once again, while talking with the representative, not a single bit of empathy was conveyed. He just kept on saying she admitted, she admitted!....again, all we were asking for was some legitimate help and hoping for just good customer service. After paying a good amount of money up front this shouldnt be too much to ask for...we got absolutely nothing. Felt like I was in court having to argue a case for some help with these people.Still no resolution. I refuse to pay $500 to get this fixed after 2 months when I can just as easily go with another computer brand for the same price as fixing this Apple screen. We made a big mistake shopping with Apple. Never again!They have no regard for their customers. All they care about is money and thats it. If their screens are so sensitive, there should be a disclaimer on all of their products in bold. The person I spoke to told me that if they included all the disclaimers on the product, it would take a very long time to read...There is not a physical crack on the screen, its all internal. I was informed that it doesnt matter. They are not going to help. Either pay full price or dispute it elsewhere. OR spend more money and pay for Apple care next time. But there will not be a next time. These people are scammers and bullies. They have a history of unethical practices. Stay away.Everything about this company is a scam with horrible customer service. Just know what when you purchase an Apple product that you are purchasing an overpriced product and the company does not stand by their product.And for the record, blaming customers when things go wrong has nothing to do with customer service.

I would give none stars if I could. The service is just the worth you will get from apple. If you want to buy anything get ready to beg. I waited for over 1h for a sales advisor to see me. You will see a lot of sales advisors doing absolutely nothing on the floor, but they cant help you as you have queue and book a time to be seen or you are more welcome to walk out the store without giving your $1000 to apple. You can see from the pictures that the store was empty but they still made me wait for over 1h.

Was my 2nd time visiting to buy laptop. Got assigned to Kingman, the same sales associate who helped me purchased iPad pro back in 2017. He is the man! He knows his stuff and very knowledgeable about Apple products. Had a positive experience there. Great vibe and learned a lot. Will come back again.

This store is packed whenever visited. Luckily, there are plenty of friendly staff to assist with enquires. This place is good to check out the latest Apple products. It is clean and well maintained - considering the amount of traffic.Bonus that there are restrooms for you to use.

I am unhappy with the service and I will explain why. I bought an iPhone and returned it on May 27th. They told me that they would email the check within 14 days. 14 days passes but they did not send me a check, I called them and the woman said that the process takes 3-4 weeks from the date of the return of the product. Guess what? Yeah, they didnt send me a check. I decided to call again but this time they say that the process takes 4-6 weeks. I don’t know it’s only they have such employees or Apple in general, but the service is not satisfactory.

Our experience here with this Apple store in SoHo was fantastic. It is one of the largest Apple locations in the world with two floors, with a large theatre style seating area on the second floor with various live and scheduled presentations on how to use different features on your Apple device.We had a scheduled 12:15pm genius bar appt for an issue with a MacBook Air, we came in at 12:18pm, and asked the first person we saw with a green employee shirt who said to head upstairs to the left, there are stairs right in front and a small elevator a little further back to your left when you walk in. Upstairs, we again asked an employee, whom, btw, looked as though they are all there helping customers or waiting to help on a customer, and we were seated towards the back of this long table where it seemed everyone was getting their devices fixed or explained.An employee came over and asked us about our issue and said a technician would be over shortly. There was a slight wait...about 10-15 minutes but it was worth it, because we got Ken, who fixed, cleaned, and magically took care of what we couldnt, with our laptop. He was also able to solve an admin issue that we had with the laptop as well.When he did have to take the laptop for a bit, he was back quickly, and overall, it was a terrific experience.We then went over to check out chargers and accessories on the other side of the store. We were told that we could find them on both floors, and the sales employee we dealt with was very nice and helpful also.Also, this area is so nice to stroll around, with eateries, clothing stores, and shops nearby.We would definitely come to this location again.

I made my order online then I went to pick up. I got a pick up windows. I went in my window there was only one person ahead of me. I was asked for my confirmation number. Then I was asked if its okay to check my body temperature. And I was asked couple of questions for covid 19 then I was allowed to enter the storeSomething great every thing was Disinfected and all Apple team were working deligently to disinfect everythingThe I did the checkout if my order. Fast temperature screening before entering the store. I was directed to the person who would assist me primarily, then one of their genius came to run diagnostics on my iPad air yo verify the issue. They proceeded to exchange my device asking me if I knew how to restore my data. It was a really fast and easy experience, aside from finding parking in Manhattan.

I get there before a line forms and the host at the front tells me it’s a 10-15 min wait right now. Totally understandable under the conditions. People start lining up behind me and are waiting to enter. As more people join the line the host is starting to lose control of the line because people are standing everywhere.after waiting for about 15 minutes, I’ve been seeing few groups of people exit the store. I ask the host how much longer and he asks another person at the front who tells him it’s now going to be 20 more minutes..At this point I’m a little upset because there was no communication about the increase of time or the reason for it. I completely understand the metering process during these times of the pandemic but communication and stability is important. Multiple employees out there but no one knows how to operate a line efficiently or let people in line know what’s going on. I didn’t want to continue waiting in line as it was really cold and i left. Keep in mind that i was the first person in line and i stepped off.

Its apple what is there to say about the service its good like always but I can tell you a story instead of a review google. The first time I went to this apple store it just opened. The style of the store inside was amazing. The layout of the store was open. I liked how you was able to actually play with the product fully. The other thing was the glass steps. I never stepped on glass steps so yes I was a little cautious. The upper floor was even more amazing then the lower floor long story short google. I rather give you a story then a review...RaD

I went there around 9am, their opening time, because I needed to browse accessories to my new Apple device. There were maybe 2 more customers in the store because it just opened. After going through health check the person in a very rude and loud voice asked me what I needed without any consideration for customer service whatsoever. He was rude from the get go and I didn’t feel like answering questions of someone who was being rude to me from the start. So I told him I was there to look at stuff, after maybe 3 minute of more rudeness I was assigned a guard who walked around with me. I would really appreciate more patience, politeness, and just humanity in customer representatives, especially early in the morning because the day just started and if you can’t stand customers at 9am you shouldn’t do this job at all, instead of ruining people’s day with your aasholeness. After all and all I didn’t feel like spending money at a place that treated me so badly, so I left without buying anything and will not come back

I was there to fix my son phone with my 7 years old daughter, they told me that we cant stay there because of COVID 19 person who spoke to me he told me than my daughter need to wait on waiting area, im a essential workers who was working all this pandemic time,..... and i know all the rules better than anyone else, i try to explain them that i dont need 6 feet between me and my daughter.But they cancel my appointment. Staff very helpful as always. Spacious, not the biggest Apple store that I’ve visited.Checked out the cases they had available for their latest iPhone 11 Pro and unfortunately some colours had sold out; which is always disappointing to here. If it’s sold out it’s popular, so restock in time or take off display/ place a out of stock sign, is they way I see it.Different floors available including a express section where you can quick purchase and leave with basic equipment like charger cable etc.

Went here to get my phone replaced and although it took quite a while I walked out with a brand new phone and all my data good to go. The genius bar people were absolutely phenomenal at their job, and thats not an exaggeration. Its an Apple store so the aesthetics and product demos are always going to be top notch. Great store!

Painfully incompetent staff. Apple standards keep sinking, rolling down the fancy glass stairs. They are snobby, have not heard of courtesy and respect to the customers. The “service” is so slow it puts European bureaucracy in the lightning speed category. Problem solving? No! Only excuses. And that comes from the supposedly “leadership” of the (not-so)GeniusBar. Apple been losing it since Steve Jobs is gone, and the current corporate leadership clearly doesn’t give a damn. Another reason to see if PC/Android world have better options to offer.

The manager was completely dismissive and not showing any carer. In 2019 my screen was replaced on an issue that screen robbed the keyboard and left a line in the middle of the screen. . It was fixed based on a manufactured defect. This time he would not do it simply because my Apple care had expired. Seeing customers as dollar signs is wrong and sad. I am a student I can not afford throwing money at Apple products.
