We were skeptical completely ordering a diamond online, but couldn’t be any happier with the results! We decided to go with a lab diamond and they had an amazing selection. There are more diamonds and settings than any other site out there as well as better prices! The setting I was nervous about because it wasn’t a real-life picture of it, but it turned out waaaay prettier in person! We brought it to a local jeweler for an appraisal and it appraised for twice what we paid! I get compliments all the time! Don’t second guess this source!

I thoroughly enjoyed being able to filter and select the precise diamond I wanted based on strict specifications. The diamond I received was nothing short of what I expected. The only issue was the diamond had some marker on it to designate where the laser engraving that should have been removed before I received it, but it was easily cleaned with alcohol per recommendation of Rare Carat.The Rare Carat Team was extraordinarily responsive, emailing back within a couple hours most of the time, and very helpful on coordinating the diamond pickup when I was unable to sign for the delivery to work.I highly recommend Rare Carat.

I bought a very fine diamond using Rare Carat back in June. I was nervous at the onset, this was to be a major purchase, an expensive purchase and you start to remember stories of others who were deceived in the diamond market and did not get what they paid for. I was skeptical about buying a diamond online, especially trying to balance quality with a tight budget. I had narrowed my search down and selected a diamond but it was on hold by someone else. I had been looking at another diamond but was worried about its color versus its fluorescent level since I couldnt see it in person. Sure, the large online retailers made this possible previously, but now you can do true apples-to-apples comparison shopping (sometimes on the exact same diamond!) and get much better prices.Are you feeling less than confident in your knowledge of diamonds? Not to worry. You can quickly become more of an expert than you ever thought you would be. I STRONGLY recommend going through all the basic education materials on the site when it comes to the three Cs, but also read up on the particular cut you choose (e.g. its advantages, disadvantages, and what to look out for). It is a very useful feature to get a market estimate for a specific diamond based solely on the GIA number alone. It makes sense this can be done. It was also useful and informative to get quotes for comparable diamonds at the same time, very much like a market comparison for buying a house or other property.Now if we could only get the insurance companies to accept the quotes and comparison as a valid basis for insurance . . .

Incredible experience shopping for my fiances engagement ring. So many filtering tools and the same diamonds available on all of the other sites. When I had it narrowed down to 6 stones, I called on their experts to give an opinion and they helped me decide on the perfect rock!

I used Rare Carat to help me pick out a diamond for my (now) finance. The information provided on the site, along with the ability to view and sort different diamonds, and assure me that I was getting the best price really took the guess work out of it. I wasnt sure at first, so I did a ton of research on the site, and then called a number of local jewelers.
