The desserts here are no joke! I thought it was yet another overly hyped location but I changed my mind quickly when we got our order. The Golden Toast was such a perfect combination of warm, crunchy, salty, and sweet along with the cold vanilla ice cream. Their teas are also very pleasant and were satisfying as a much needed lighter pairing with the heavier dessert. My friend and I were so surprised by how much we enjoyed it!

Amazing and unique desserts with great customer service.Pros: Desserts are one of kind. Not only look aesthetically pleasing but actually very tasty as well. A little pricey but for the one of a kind dishes In my opinion it is worth it.Cons: The music playing: I am all for expletive music in an appropriate setting, but when the music is loud and dealing with younger patrons in a small dessert oriented space it is a bit cringe.

One of the best dessert experiences in NYC!Spot Dessert Bar is your go-to place for that sweet tooth cravings. They have a variety of playful and extravagant desserts that will suit whatever your palate desires. Matcha lava cake, the Cheesecake served in a pot, the french toast and many more! One thing I love about this place is their constant innovation, almost every month they introduce a new dessert item. Be sure to look out for that on your next visit.

Creative way to serve desserts. Also, it is great that all plates are not “too sweet”. The only thing I didn’t like is that as soon as you finish your meal the server pushes you to pay and leave as soon as possible😂😅But overall is a good place to visit.

The milky puff (on the right) was out of this world delicious. The ice cream that comes with it, delicious! Such as amazing dessert. The golden toast was good too but harder to eat.. I want to go back and try some others. Only critique is that their website says you can order online for pickup or delivery but pickup was not an option. When I called and told them so, they didnt seem to care but did tell us we can come in and order to go. Long wait time, which is what we were trying to avoid. But dessert was delicious.

Best place in NY to have desserts. The presentation is just what you get at a fine dine restaurant. I have had everything on their menu and I LOVE Matcha Lava. The soft molten chocolate with green tea along with matcha ice cream is the best combination of flavor. The molten center is sharp whereas the ice cream is bland and it perfectly balances the flavor.I would also recommend Chestnut Butterscotch if you like the taste of chestnut.Last week I was not satisfied with The Harvest. There was something wrong with the layers but it’s still good.If it’s your first time, do not order Chocolate Forest.

I was so excited to try this place but unfortunately I lost my money and my appetite. The desserts are too sweet that it will numb your sense of taste… I couldn’t even drink the rose bubble tea and when ask to switch it for coffee they did not offer to change it, I told the waitress that it was very sweet and I only had 1 sip, I had to pay for two drinks and dessert and my taste buds where overly sweet with all the sugar and no taste of the food there. The ice cream taste was pure sugar… like eating honey from the jar, really I couldn’t enjoy anything… too sweet, disappointing and misleading.. I tried my best to eat it, but at the end I lost $20.

The server did a great job, he was the only server and had to take care of all of the tables there by himself while it was packed, and customers were only just coming in. We were in city for a day of fun and hear a lot about this place a d it’s signature desserts, the wait wasn’t bad. We ended up enjoying the outdoor seating area and there was a bit of social distancing. We ordered their signature dish the harvest and coconut money bread which was their Halloween special and a Thai Milk Bubble Tea. All the items were amazing, the service was lackluster I guess because the place was pretty busy and the turnover was fast. Highly recommended trying this place.

We got the harvest, the warm cookie sundae, and the pastel de nata- i think the harvest was the best thing we had! there was a pretty long wait, but I think it is a little overrated. i think it is definitely a unique place, but not necessarily worth waiting in a long line for. i was also a little confused as why we got plastic silverware when we dined in- it felt incorrect to eat a beautifully plated dessert with a plastic spoon. also, they were in such a rush to get customers in and out that they didnt even clean the table before we sat down- there were ice cream drippings/crumbs/etc.

PLEASE STAY AWAY FROM THIS PLACE!Im new to town and was recommended to visit this place by a friend. This restaurant has an absolutely horrifying waiting system and even more horrifying service. We put our name using the barcode and waited there for 30 minutes right in front of the place. As we were having a conversation, I didnt notice I got a text message. When I checked my phone to check the status, I noticed I got a text message that our booking was cancelled because we didnt reply to a text message within THREE MINUTES! The whole time we were standing right in front of the place, and nobody called my name! When I try to talk to the waiter really politely about our situation, the Asian guy who was working on the stairs didnt even look at my eyes (he was looking at the screen). He went Well, Im listening. Keep talking while looking at his phone. My boyfriend was so mad at his attitude he wanted to confront the guy, but I stopped him from doing so. We were told we should wait for another 5-10 minutes to be seated inside. And by that time we didnt want to bother with this place anymore that we decided to leave.Note: The serving portion is absolutely abysmal. Expect to see a less than 4 inch macha larva.Dear Restaurant Owner, your business might be booming now because of college kids celebrating a new semester. Will they return despite the horrible attitude of your waiter? Lets see how long your business will survive. Good luck.August 28 (Sat), 7:30pm

Always a decent go-to place to for dessert, but to be quite honest, their creations feel quite manufactured and standardized after a few visits. The quality is good, but not unique or outstanding. Each dessert was around 13 dollars, which made sense considering the location and the portion size. The toast was fluffy but a little too sweet for my taste. I enjoyed the pairing with the vanilla ice cream. The ice cream was probably my favorite aspect, because it was stretchy and not too sugary. We also ordered the matcha lava cake, which was rich but also slightly too artificially flavored. The green tea ice cream balanced everything out though.

These are most creative and unique desserts Ive had in my life. I come here often for the Golden Toast, a beautiful balance of buttery and delicate sweetness. My visit this time, I tried one of their seasonal desserts, the Coffee Mountain, served in a chilled bowl. The chiffon cake at the bottom is spongy and absorbs the coffee custard it is topped with. The ice cream had a rich coffee flavor and is not overtly sweet, a great complement to the chiffon cake and custard. The choux at the top is the only thing that doesnt quite add to the dessert or work in a complementing way. I could do without it. This place is a sweet experience.

2.2.18 - Deserts are good, but nothing overtly special. It seems predominantly NYU kids so take it with a grain of salt. The staff is nice, but if you ask them for more insight about the offerings they will only regurgitate whats written on the menu without any other value. Everything looks good, but if the staff cant characterize each desert its hard to decide what you really want. Perhaps Im being overly critical, but I expect more if this desert spot is trying to live up to the hype, so you should really know what youre selling.Lastly, theres no time estimate for waiting for a seat.

We went and there were some sitting available; the waitress came to ask instantly what we wanted to order I was struggling and the employee was rushing us but I was having problems with my internet on my cellphone so I was trying to wait for my sister and check on her phone. At the end my sister was doing the line for the ladys room and we were no prepared to leave yet and the same lady returned and directly let me know the total and coming with the machine to pay right away without me asking for the receipt. The place had seats available and didnt have a line. This kind of attitude is what it stops to bringing people to their business. Rude staff and horrible service. Walked out.Edit: I walked in on Friday 25th around 7-7:30 pm with my family. There were 4 of us including me. We ordered 2 desserts. The server who took our order (not sure of his name but had glasses on) rudely declined because apparently you need to order 3 desserts between 4 people. While I understand that, something needs to be said about this policy before customers are seated. I even explained to the server that 2 of the individuals in the group are diabetic and even ordered a drink on the side to comply with the policy. The server then decided to call the manger who was even more un accommodating. At the end we just decided to walk out because we just didn’t wanna argue with the staff anymore. You can’t force or blackmail ANY customer to order something they don’t want. Or if so just be a little polite about it and decline to serve rather than pressure us into ordering stuff we don’t don’t. I would give ZERO stars if I could.Location: 13 St Marks Pl, NY, 10003
