It was my first time going to Sedutto and I was very happy I made it there. I used to live in the Upper East Side many years ago and this place was always on my list of places to try out, but since I moved downtown I didnt get to try it out until now. This place has been around since the 1970s which says a lot! There was always a line which went by super fast.I tied out two flavors, chocolate chocolate chip and blueberry cheesecake. I was totally blown away with how delicious the blueberry cheesecake flavor was. It had actual pieces of cheesecake in it!!I highly recommend this place to anyone.IG-@traveleen_gurl
The child in me just loved the rich vanilla ice cream ( Sedutto ) with lush chocolate fudge sauce . All I can say is MORE ....
The ice cream was good, but none of the workers had masks. Very inconsiderate. Its not that hard to wear masks.
One of my favorite ice cream spots in the neighborhood!!
AMAZING Amazing amazing!!! I always buy here and also pick up deliveries from here and the deliveries dont go far👏👏way to go Im always picking up from here
This is where we go every time. No other ice cream shop in the neighbors is as good as them.
The classic the best always sedutto
My local go-to ice cream place. Great variety of flavors and very reliable in terms of service and quality.
Dont go to this place overated, and I had 2kids with me, o one would help me through the door, guy was loaded with attitude, so.over this place!!!
I love Sedutto and personally think its better than nearby Emack & Bolios (which is also good, just not AS good). Favorite flavors: smores, butter pecan, pirates treasure, pistachio, banana fudge.
Love this place.
I like the ice cream here, but went today and NONE of the workers were wearing masks!! When I asked where his mask was he just stared at me with no response. I will NOT return!!
I liked the ice creams and the options. The ice cream tasted great. Felt a bit cramped inside.
Loved there service nice on time quick quality.
Good ice cream
This is some of the best ice cream in the city. Seriously underrated. Strongly recommend.
Im glad this place re-opened. Nice reminder of summer. Delicious frozen yogurt with the texture of ice cream. Friendly service.
I love this place for their high end ice cream. They have a good selection of fun flavors, INCLUDING a few boozy ice cream selections (which are pretty good). If you are looking for more normal/classic flavors, I wouldnt recommend here, however this place is great for out-of-the-box ice cream experiences. The prices are a bit high, but well worth it on special occasions. Its a small shop and there is usually a line so prepare to wait a bit
Recommend for first timers! Super cute place for a date or hangout with friends. Havent tried the food yet but definitely something on my list to do!
Have been going here for 15 years. Best ice cream on the Upper East Side!!
OMG! Blackberry chocolate chip frozen yogurt....best ever!!!
Neighborhood gem. Delicious ice cream and other sweet snacks. My favorite is the hard frozen yogurt in Chocolate Peanut Butter Chip. There is a little seating inside; and some benches outside that you can enjoy in the warm weather. They have a loyalty card that you can ask for if you live in the neighborhood and plan to go often. Great service, and great selection of flavors.
The flavors here are subtle and tasty. The green tea ice cream, in particular is very good. It isnt overly sweet, chalky, or overpowering, which is too frequently the downfall of tea-flavoured ice cream. Also of interest is the wine ice cream sold by the pint. Definitely a good stop for the adventurous sweet tooth.
I think the customer service matches the quality. Always busy with customers, but very fast with orders. Great place to visit any season and for adults they sell alcohol based ices, if a simple banana split isnt your thing, you can have a scoop of merlot or Chardonnay instead 😎
The guy serving behind the counter has his mask down under his nose. It also happened last week and I told the manager, but he obviously didnt do anything about it. Id stay out of that store!
Nice to see this place is still around. I used to go here back in the mid 1980s.
This will be a very short review. The Apple Pie ice cream is everything that is good in the world. Straight up apple pie a la mode in a convenience of a cup or cone. Toothsome bits of apple in an creamy base. Delicious. They have so many flavors. You can really spend a half-hour getting tastings of them all. I was worried about making a pest of myself. No worries. They are well staffed to handle a crowd.Theres two tables that sit three each inside and two benches under an awning outside. If thats not good enough, walk a few blocks to the East River Esplanade. I still had quite a bit of my cone after a leisurely walk. A lovely way to end a lovely day. Ahhhhh.....
Fast, friendly service. Had a small group of kids for a birthday party. Staff was very patient.
This place is ice cream was really good. If you like real ice cream and not soft serve, go to this place cuz it is top notch. I would definitely go back here again if I was in the area.
4.5. Small ice cream parlor with a trendy vibe and happy clients spilling out the door. Tantalize the palate with unique flavors such as banana fudge, tequila infused Mexican ice cream, and dark chocolate whisky salted caramel. At $5 for a small portion, its on the pricier side, but youd be hard-pressed to find similar delectables at a cheaper price in Manhattan.
Always solid. Prices have definitely gone up over the years. $10 for two smalls. A pit pricey but good quality.
Very high quality ice cream. Very similar to emack and bolio.
This is a super cute store with great service! I was very indecisive on what flavors to get and they definitely helped me figure out what two flavors go well together! My favorite was the mascarpone. It was BOMB! I would definitely go again!
This places crushes. If you like phenomenal ice cream and inspiring flavors amble over. If not you stink. @randomUES girl youre a saint for recommending this place. If I could eat breakfast, lunch, and dinner (@colinfarrel) here I would.
MANY choices of ice cream and frozen yogurt. Well be back!
So this place has awesome icecream, plenty of flavors to choose from but Im a shake guy. So some nights the milk shakes are very good, and some nights u get a watery shake. Which is terrible, almost like drinking a glass of milk. I wont go as much as I used to because even when u ask for a thick shake, u get a liquidy shake 🤦🏻♂️. Overall 3 out of 5 stars.
Its OKAY I lose Capital One for you NOT to pay like you signed off listen to your black women about Band Camp, Traptastic, and F-Block. Its OKAY that is the proof for America to back me in my decisions regarding your vaccination flu shot.
It was quick and easy. They have so many flavors you just HAVE to try. My favorite flavor is birthday cake.
Love this place. Delicious ice cream. Very reasonable prices. Very nice staff.
Sedutto’s is the best way to end your day.I’m telling you to go to first avenue I’m giving you a tip get mint-chocolate chip!THE BEST BEST BEST!!!!!!
Cute little shop swarmed with children (as it should be) and a wide range of not-too-unusual flavors from which to choose (we chose coffee and a very fudgy vanilla-based flavor whose name escapes me). Classic gelato, and also sorbet, several cone styles, and generous scoops for the price.
Excelente ice cream! I accept the sugestion and took the combination of Melba Sauce and Frogurt! Delicious!
Really good butter pecan. So many flavors.
Very tasty!
Very Good icecream. I love this place. Hidden off and never packed. Its worth it to go to this hidden gem.
One of two top local ice cream shops in the neighborhood
Its a cute little ice cream shop with a ton of flavors, including plenty of delicious dairy free sorbets and even some boozy take home pints. Divinity!
Best ice cream ever! My favorite flavors are mint chip and birthday cake.
Absolutely DELICIOUS!
I got the peanut butter cake frozen yogurt. It was so rich and creamy that it could have passed for real ice cream! Only complaint is that the employees didnt speak much English.
Theres always room for ice cream and cant walk away from the place without a scoop or two.
Birthday cake/s’mores will change your life. Srs
Not bad
Fairly large selection of ice cream flavors, and the prices are reasonable. Long lines, but there were about half a dozen employees working, so I was in and out, about 15 minutes.
Great Ice-cream in a baseball helmet cup!
Really interesting flavor options. Worth the walk over from Museum Mile.
Great big slice pizza quick pro service and great peaceful atmosphere ....loved it will come back anytime Im in the area
Have not had Sedutto in 25 years. I dont know what happened to this ice cream, but this is not the delicious, bursting with flavor Sedutto I remember. Its now just average ice cream, and certainly not worth $5 for one scoop.
Really good ice cream. The moochi aren’t too bad either.
They simply need to accept Amex, everything else is perfect STAFF couldnt be more attentive!!!
Very good ice cream at astronomical prices.
Real FlavorFULL ice.cream
Sedutto Sevafis story is the archetypical American dream, a self made man, a legend and visionary who revolutionized the frozen yogurt game. As a child in Iran, he had huge hopes of starting his own business like his father, but as the ayatollah rose to power his dreams were seemingly dashed as his family fled to the United States. However, as they grabbed a foothold on the upper east side of Manhattan, his father working odd jobs to make ends meet, the spark of that dream ignited yet again. After College, graduating with his BS, Sedutto strove to change the frozen yogurt world forever. With only a small loan of 50,000 dollars, he took a huge risk and opened the unassuming but revolutionary Sedutto Frozen Yogurt Shop. The rest, they say, is history. For over 30 years, Sedutto has been providing only the highest quality frozen yogurt to the Upper East Side. Because when Sedduto Sevafi gets in the game, the frozen yogurt industry is never the same TODAY!!!! You can get a hell of a deeeaaaaaaal!!!
Way better than Emack & Bolio’s. The banana fudge ice cream is the best!
The BESTESEST!!!
Ice cream was tasty, a little pricey.
Sedutto ice cream so amazing!!!! So many choices Yummy, perfect time to come here for mint chocolate chips 👍
Not the best ice cream i ever eat...The milkway was nice not more...
Hole in the wall ice cream shop, friendly staff, and delicious ice cream
There great ice cream and they always get new GREAT flavors.I LOVE SEDUTTO
The service was so exceptional that I felt obliged to write a review. The guy suggested flavors for me to try and gave me multiple free samples without me having to ask.
Try the bourbon chocolate with salted caramel. The consistency is more like mousse and the bourbon flavor is subtle, but a nice addition to the chocolate.
Delicious ice cream. Sometimes theres a line, but it moves pretty quickly.
The tastiest icecream I ever ate!
Exceptional, what s great find in Manhattan.
Good Ice cream good service
Mint chocolate chip in a cone with rainbow sprinkles - delish!
Ice cream here is delicious. And they have peanut butter topping!
Its hard to make decision there for all of their variety. But once you do and receive their ice cream you may, like me, be underwhelmed by how uninteresting their flavors really are. May as well throw your money at Baskin-Robbins. They need to find a way to step it up if they want to compete with Emack & Bolios.
Best local ice cream shop. Shout out to my boy Duffy!
Rich decadent ice cream in a small boutique setting.
Great Ice Cream But It Took An Hour To Deliver.
Uhhhhh so gooood
Delicious ice cream! A little expensive though.
Most delish ice cream!
Great ice cream but a bit pricey.
Delicious! Best ice-cream in the UES!
Im still emotionally traumatized from finding short dark curly hair in the toppings of the peanut butter frozen yogurt I had ordered from them, I cant even walk past that place any more. When I called, absolutely horrified, the man who answered the phone said, Okay. No offer to refund, no apology, nothing. He simply said, Okay like it was a complaint he heard all the time.At Seduttos last inspection conducted on 4/1/2014 by the New York Department of Health and Mental Hygeine, Sedutto received 9 violations. For the sake of comparison, 16 Handles at 1569 2nd Avenue (between 81st & 82nd) had 2 violations. Emack and Bolios at 1564 1st Avenue (between 81st and 82nd) had 3 violations.Makes you wonder whats going on at Sedutto that they had 9 violations. You might want to scurry to another ice cream shop, Sedutto isnt exactly the cats whiskers.
Best ice cream for the past 50 years
Great ice cream, and tons of variety.
Had one bad experience but that was it. Good place and best ice cream in UES
Prompt, courteous service and GREAT ice cream....
Best ice cream in New York highkey
Excellent ice cream on the UES!
