Love this store. Finally was able to find the face pads to use with my toner. Super affordable. Not too crowded. Hand sanitizer available at the door. Has 2 fl. levels. Super organized and nicely stocked.
This place is basically my church as an artist and as someone who loves stationery. My friend showed me this place 3 years ago and whenever I go to Manhattan with them I always hope to go. Prices for stationery are very good and their products are always top notch. Theres usually calm music playing and the overall interior is also beautiful 💕
Most of the kitchen items were missing last time I visited. I wonder if there is a supply issue. Either way, its a very convenient and big location. Fun to just browse. If you know Muji then you wont be disappointed, and if youve never been to one, so yourself the favor and go just for the experience.
A wide variety of great products with friendly staff. They sell high quality things that I always repurchase after using completely (like pens and notebooks). Its a hipsters paradise. Some of the staff speak fluent Japanese too, which is helpful for my mom.
I got 2 pairs of house slippers here and that are the biggest size they have. We are using them now. The store has a basement space where you will discover more items. Good place to shop.
Ive visited Muji regularly for years. This time I received especially good service from Henry Huang to have my order delivered home. Absolutely the highlight of my day! Thank you very much.
I loved that you can customize the home fragrance scents. I had such a lovely shopping experience at this location. I definitely want to go back again. :3
Top notch quality products ranging from stationary and food to clothes and essential oils.Incredible MUJI experience here in Fifth Avenue and I love the calm atmosphere and the neat and clean layout of the store. Prices are generally affordable but the service wasn’t as good as I expected.
What can I say? I love this store. I love Mujis selection of stationary, clothing, homegoods, and everything else they have to offer. Its priced reasonably and quality made. I never regret coming here.
The shopping center was below the Mandarin Oriental great shopping center great restaurants lots of fun Columbus circle right outside and entry to Central Park South
I use to love this place! Everything is so elegant and simple. But then I realized the unfortunate fact that it is just Amazon Essentials but 3x the price.I have some serious buyers remorse over here.
Lovely, airy store with two floors (mostly clothing downstairs). typical Muji, but unfortunately selection is very limited. even the toiletry products seemed sparse, and there are no childrens clothes, either. Almost felt like the store might be closing soon, selection was that sparse.
They discontinued the reporter notepads i loved. this location is not to blame and its actually very big and great. but why did they do this to me?
This place has such good vibes.. i bought some t-shirts and jeans the quality is great. so great that i bought it online too
Sort of reminded me of the Ikea of clothes, I liked how none of the clothes were branded and not super expensive. My only issue was that none of the clothes were very soft, but Ive definitely felt worse clothing!
Rude cashier. The short hair one, I don’t even care what your name is but if MUJI hires you to just standing there and be rude, that’s their mistake. You treated customer like this is a charity place people come and beg for things. Even charity places don’t treat people like that. Japanese are well known for being the most respectful people in the world but your actions are shameful.
I was very happy with my finds! My good friend and I visited the store and saw a few good quality items on sale. We both bought things that we can use right away and couple more other things. The store was clean and organized, and the atmosphere was relaxing which made the shopping experience so pleasant. I am glad that we decided to make the trip!
Everything there was neat and peaceful. I loved it
MUJI at 5th Ave have just gone under some renovation with new improvements to the store. Stationery, MUJI to go, and Health&Beauty are now upstairs while other department like garment, household ad Kitchen are downstairs. Embroidery has now expanded and relocated towards center of store. Quite has changed but the ambience is still the same while giving a refreshed feel. Its perfect place when holiday seasons about to roll in.
This place is so dangerous to my pockets! Super affordable items for every single part of your home & life. Love it here!
I can’t place it but this store sort of reminds me of Uniqlo. They have very great stuff with good fabric. The prices are really moderate and the staffers are pretty happy and always willing to attend to me. I also noticed there’s a coffee shop inside the store and I think it makes perfect sense considering the scorching cold outside before I walked in. It’s pretty close to the road and can be easily noticed from a vehicle in normal traffic. There’s also wheelchair accessible entrance for the differently able. #Coat #Clothings #Manhattan #WinterCoat #FamilyFriendly #NYC #OnGoogleMaps #LocalGuides #LetsGuide #WheelchairAccessible #GreatDeal #ClothingStore
This was a very cool store. I came in for the stationery. Their notebooks seemed high quality and really pretty fountain pen friendly for the price! There were lots of tester notebooks so you could try out any of their many pens.Best part is that after you buy a notebook theres a customization table with all sorts of stamps you can use to make your notebooks one of a kind!
.....you save less by spending more ..... Smells nice
This place has its own style. Unusual and comfortable.
Excellent shopping experience. This location has two floors, first floor has office supplies which are what I usually look for at this shop.Very soothing, overall. Only complaint is that the snacks are very inconsistent. Dont get attached to a flavor, you might not see it for months.
Muji originally founded in Japan in 1980 offers a wide variety of good quality products including household goods, apparel and food.Mujirushi Ryohin, MUJI in Japanese, translates as no brand quality goodsMUJI is based on three core principles, which remain unchanged to this day:1. Quality materials2. Less excess3. Minimum packaging. From strawberry chocolates to facial cleansing oil AND the kitchen sink, Mujis got it all at very affordable prices.I like.I especially like the location of this branch. Opposite the New York Library. It just gives it a lil something. Ill try to update if I ever figure out what this something is.The End.
Good stuff but not everything on inventory
The quality is the same as in Japan. I think its wonderful!
This location has more items than the Times Square location.I do miss the MUJI in Japan...the two open locations in NYC reminded me of them. There are not very many in the US.I did notice a little markup in price. If you compare the Yen price on the Japanese labeling vs the USD price sticker. I guess that could be from a variety of reasons.10/10 would come here again.
Love Muji, from their underware to their kitchen sponges, to their staplers, everything has that design efficiency and quality that promises to make life clean and less complicated.
Good quality products with a very limited selection, unfortunately.
Very clean and fun to window shop. Everything is pretty affordable in terms of price
Like a fairy tale, I didnt know this kind of place really existed. A store focused on quality and efficiency but without the weight of branding. If MUJI made everything I needed, Id replace everything I owned because their products are born of a philosophy that appeals to me on a fundamental level. Not minimalist, but rational. I love it. Huge, clean, and spacious store, sensibly organized. Bring your own bags or pay a nominal fee.
All US stores are out of Muji notebooks right now
Muji is a must for every town I do visit that have one in the vacinity. A bit pricey but it does match the quality and design value.
Same old Muji, with much less people due to pandemic. Still fully stocked and we got a great surprised bag for 50% off. The surprises inside was way more than what we purchased bag for. Thank you Muji!!! Made my girl really happy she picked a good one.
Great home organizing items and more!
I love their pens!! While stopping by to pick up some pens, they also have many items for my home office. I found a great Jute Bag on sale which I purchased. They have many items I thought were great for organizing so I went home..made a list and returned the next day to purchase them. I love this store and really missed them while they were closed. So glad they are back!!
Fun place to pick up home goods, clothes and snacks all with a Japanese lifestyle aesthetic
Definitely recommend muji for minimalist and affordable stationery !!
All things Japanese. You can find so many varieties of home and clothing there. From blue jeans to rice bowls.
Big store with a lot of stuff.
The store is really big, and they have a lot of good things. They have many items
Well made products!
Too expensive for sandwishes went with my daughter and grandkids
Update: This location has been renovated so if youre are a returning customer looking for all things related to stationery, health and beauty and travel, its all one ground floor. If youre looking for garment, furniture, storage, kitchen, Found MUJI, fitting room, and bedding; its all on basement floor.Currently the theme is St. Valentines Day so they have a nice little open space area filled with aroma diffusers.Everything else:They have a huge range of products and the store is larger than any other as it is the Flagship store. Being that, they do offer exclusive services like Embroidery which is really worth it to make sometime personal. There is also the Aroma Bar where they can mix oils for you. Found MUJI is also displayed there, its product they introduce from other countries almost every 3-4 months. Currently its Found India. You also have the MUJI Labo line which is the luxury side of garment. They also sell books, greenery, and children clothes that other stores dont have. Additionally they have many furniture pieces on display But keep in mind, they dont have every piece available in stock ready for pickup. The staff are filled with product knowledge and can be very helpful with product information if anyone needs help.Wait time isnt long at registers either. If it is, you can check out all the neat little snacks they have while youre in line. Youll want to try them all.Youll definitely want to visit this location because of the special events they hold in store or by reservation such as food tastings and workshops. Also they have many promotions going on so make sure you grab one of their flyers.
Very neat and organized. I really appreciated how they had a worker by the front door with a bottle of spray hand sanitizer to ensure cleanliness during the ongoing pandemic. The student discount was a happy bonus too
Very helpful employees here. I found the biggest bag here to carry my ps5 from the post office to home.
Lots of good japanese style basics
Place is calm chill very neat and definitely coming back
Incredible place, you can find many interest thing that help you to decorar your own spot
Its also An Amazing place
Favorite store, a bit on the expensive side but great quality
MUJI offers the kind of stuff my minimalist soul just craves. They have great variety of blankets, clothing, oil diffusers, office supplies, also dishes (not only porcelain, also wooden) and other kitchen utensils from spoons to chopsticks... Just everything for your home and more, the design and shapes clean. Some of the products are on the pricier side, but its kinda expected.
MUJI Fifth Avenue. I forgot the two side streets, can you let me know. Thanks.
Always cool nbn people, knowledgeable and the place is set up real easy and simple navigate. No clutter or disorganization. Just simplistic which I find enjoyable
Unique in its concept. Easy to shop at this great location.
You can find a lot of original stuff here.
I always appreciate the staffs ethics and professionalism. The embroidery service was excellent as they put our office logo on a face mask.
Its a Japanese store with unique items for storage n oils
Lovely winter accessories..their fingerless gloves are the best
Always out of sizes in the middle, outside of XS and L
The store was imaculate, organized, a temple to contemporary design and an OCD dream. However, of the three things on my list which I was looking for 0 were available;1) as usual, the Slippers were out of stock... And there is no way to be notified like a wait list even though Ive been told a new shipment will be here in the next two months almost every month since Aug 2020... Now waiting for Feb 2021.2) a Hanging Organizer? Oh we discontinued that in North America... If you have a friend in Asia they could buy it for you and get it to you... No its okay (I think Ill buy it from IKEA, its cheaper and they have more than three kinds).3) a Soap Tray for the shower? Oh, the last one was purchased this morning but let me check storage and the inventory... The employees are so polite and helpful BUT... Oh the inventory says there is one but there isnt one in stock. Would you like me to check another store for you? No thank you for your help (next stop IKEA...)Has anyone noticed that the MUJI website search doesnt work?Good people, nice design, but overpriced goods none of which we want and the ones we want seem to always be unavailable...
Referring to the store on time Square.Dont buy anything from this store. They tell you, if anything wrong bring it back and then you do and they dont honor it. Quality of electronics are bad. Bad 👎 experience. Never again buying from them.
Niche but nice
Organized, good place to buy some house stuff and some clothes too.
True to the Muji brand, the staff is excellent at this location. One of the things that routinely amaze me is the prices on their office supplies. For some of the top of the line pen and paper products their prices are extremely low making it a great deal. I shop here for holiday gifts for my team every year because of how much you can get for the quality of the product.
I genuinely love this brand concept. Minimal and affordable. Everything is sincere and simple, even the color choices. I love the size and selection of this flagship store. Looking around is a great way to pass the time. 4/5 because something is amiss in this store that you sense in their stores located in Japan.
MUJI in general is one of my favorite stores, chain or otherwise, not only for their Japanese clothing aesthetic but because they use organic cotton but dont charge an arm & a leg for it. Also they have sales on in-season clothes for up to 70% off. Today I bought some clearance clothes & they were an additional 20% off because I bought two or more clearance items. Try the chocolate-filled marshmallows. Theyre delicious.
Very good
Notebooks, journals, pens, paper and pencils are the best buys around. Excellent quality. In fact, the entire store is presented tastefully in a minimalist sort of way, selling home goods and utilitarian wear at very reasonable prices. A very neat place to shop.
Excellent.
Why? Lol.First got Muji-obsessed outside NYT building at flagship. Said, omg!Later, post-covid ish, second store opened. Sensible, with, stationary, gel pens in many colors, bitter japanese etc.Great store. Mens clothing is downstairs, and, hard left side descending.Cozy PJs!
It feels like they are always doing some kind of sale. Their products are nice, very high quality and minimalistic although they are a little overpriced since they are imported from Japan. The workers are nice, polite, and professional. Their snacks are good. This location is large, having two floors. Their bean cusions are so nice. I want one for my room.
A fantastic no-frills store, two floors with an aroma humidifier running great scents. Their shirts wear beautifully and the packaging is light and compact. No designer labels here, per their brand statement. Prices are reasonable for being such high quality, particularly the organic cotton tees which wear so well.
Great place to find organizing supplies and home basics
Nice and clean
This store is amazing! They have it all. Snacks, clothes, kitchenware, stationary and other various school/office supplies. Its hard to not want to buy everything. The clothes can be a bit expensive but everything else is good value. On the ground floor they have stationary, snacks, cleaning supplies. And downstairs they have clothes, kitchen appliances, luggage, few snacks, and diffusers.I found so many cute items here, it was real hard on my wallet. They also have free wifi so plan on being here a while.I really recommend coming here if youre in New York.
Well maintained store with polite employees. I love the service and the stationery!
Great 👍place
Its ok merry christmas
Really nice store but expensive 😭
