I work for a Real Estate Development company and Stone Source is able to provide a great selection of stone and tiles that is suited for every budget. We have starter apartments all the way to ultra high end rentals. Stone Source works well with the clients and have great customer service. Their showroom on Park Avenue is amazing. I deal with Jorgen. He is very knowledgeable and provides very good design direction as needed.

Bottom line is, I trust them and they’ve never led me in the wrong direction or let me go down the wrong path with my selections.Great Showroom- conveniently located in Union Square- wide selection of stones and porcelain tiles nicely displayed and easy to view- easy to get an appointment to visit the showroomGreat Customer Service- they never just try to make a sale. They always ask questions about the location of the stone and type of application and will advise on the most suitable stones for that application. They have frequently advised against using certain stones for specific applications if they felt the porosity, density, etc. of the stone was inappropriate for the application I was looking for.- samples are typically delivered to my office the same day requested- digital photographs of available slab lots are typically readily available- special orders are hassle free as long as the project schedule allows for the additional time neededEnormous Warehouse- their warehouse is located in NJ, approximately 30 min. from NYC.- can usually get an appointment to visit the warehouse to review slabs with about 1 week notice or less- huge selection of slabs to review.- well organized so that they, typically, have slabs pulled from their lots in advance of my arrival so I don’t have to waste time waiting around for them to pull the slabs out of the stacks.

I’ve sourced materials from Stone Source for decades. Their products are suitable for my clientele, because I design for people who are discerning. They expect a variety of material options and a higher grade, or selection, of materials than most others. My rep is responsive, helps me pull together palettes and can even get creative with meeting budgets.

Not responsive, regardless of how large your job. 20k spent.. still no responsive replies from the sales team. Too bad.. They carry nice materials.

THEY DO NOT GET BACK TO YOU.VOICE MAILS GO UNANSWERED AS WELL AS EMAILS. THEY LIE.. THEY ARE FULL OF EXCUSES (IF YOU CAN GET THEM) THEY DO NOT PROVIDE A RECEIPT UNLESS YOU BEG THEM. I WENT ELSEWHERE AND SAVED $2000.OO ON A $6500.00 ORDER. AVOID THIS PLACE IF YOU CAN.
