I needed some really fun, highly pigmented eye and lip stuff for my holiday party coming up. I was in union square and walked into NYX - the products are good quality and immediately you can see tons of color and format options.PROS- They had a selfie station, with a ring light - although it all looked turned off and no one was using it.- They had a few really friendly employees there who were very attentive and offering to help me find what I wanted.- They had several brightly lit mirror stations where you could test products and see how they look before buyingCONS- the product merchandising felt really overwhelming.... there was no easy visual way to navigate the store. It was like being in a drugstore.

Love this little nook of NYX Cosmetics magic. Its located conveniently at Union Square so its very easy to find. You can use the testers without being hassled and the attendants are super nice and helpful

Had a nasty experience with one of the “makeup artists” here...unkempt pink hair and dirty attire and didn’t help me at all. The staff here look like they don’t want to be here. I was explaining my problem with concealers creasing on my skin and the pink hair girl walks away from me then throws someone else my way that still didn’t know what they were talking about ...disgusting behavior very rude!!! Humble urself!!! Don’t come in here Go to MAC! Better service.

I love makeup but, sometimes I like not spending an arm and leg for a new on-trend lipstick/eye shadow. I stop by here once a month to update my makeup bag or to check out sales. The customer service can be hit or miss.Sometimes, The customer service reps can go above and beyond and other times they can flat out ignore you and be rude. The makeup, however, is good quality for the price and they have sales constantly.

What can I say about this fun place. Staff is always there to help you. And they have a ton of make up for you to try on so you can get a good match. The prices are very reasonable.

I enjoyed my visit to the NYX store! One of the workers was extremely friendly, answered all of my questions, and checked out my items when I was finally ready.

Im not a huge fan of makeup personally but I really enjoyed the friendliness of the staff at this store. They even offer free makeup lessons two people who schedule an appointment and will purchase a set amount of product at the end. The prices seemed reasonable and location was great.

Has all the products, even ones in unpopular colors you normally have to order on line. Staff is very helpful without being overbearing. I got product recommendations and makeup tips. The store is pretty small and packed with people, so its tricky to navigate with a big bag. They also offer personalized makeup lessons!

Came here for last minute Christmas shopping. Lois who assisted me was very patient and helpful. She was very knowledgeable about the products and suggested I could wear purple liquid lipstick with cool tone eye makeup. Ive never experienced that shopping anywhere else. I took my time playing with all the testers didnt feel rushed at all. NYX proves that high quality makeup doesnt have to break the bank. I would definitely come back and recommend my friends to come here!

I finally found where This NYX location was located and I was very excited about making a visit as it was going to be my very first visit to a NYX store. I must say I was very disappointed, the customer service was horrible. The workers were extremely rude and I basically found everything I needed on my own. I LOVE NYX PRODUCTS AND WILL CONTINUE TO SHOP FOR THEM BUT I WILL BE LOOKING AT A DIFFERENT LOCATION TO BUY.Im loving the CANT STOP WONT STOP line. The full coverage is the bomb along with the primer. The metallic lipsticks LOVING those as well. Anyway thank you for your line of makeup and brushes.

Nothing makes me more insane then shops who blast their music so loudly that youre literally screaming over it to be heard. I was seriously disappointed because Id been looking forward to checking out the NYX shop. Their products are great and their prices are really affordable. Theyre my go to drugstore brand. I planned on checking out everything in their store and leaving with a haul of goodies. Instead, I bought a single lip liner, and fled.

Nice store! Go in and find samples to try on like youre in your own makeup studio. Great expernce.

Absolutely terrible place to come into if youre trying to save money. Went in there to buy ONE LIPSTICK and I came out with 6. Anyways the staff is great and the makeup is sweeeeeeet 😊

NYX matte lipstick last practically all day long without re-applying..I love this brand more than MAC..The shades compliment my complexion and I have atleast 15 shades. Perfect Red, Shocking Pink and Eden are my staples. I dont wear foundation so I can only review the lip shades.. This brand is definitely a contender in the make up world...Love Love😗

Posting from my friend’s google - GO TO ANY OTHER NYX BUT THIS ONE. There’s a few further out, take an R to Queens Center if you must. Back in May I bought some makeup for a friend’s wedding, the register froze after I inserted my card and I was told I would not be charged as the register had to restart. I was pulled over to another register and paid that way. I used to visit this location at least twice a month so seeing it twice never seemed off, until I noticed it was a double charge. The store hasn’t tried to fix it, my credit company keeps getting hung up on, Kristen the manager is inutil. Funny enough I ran into the girl who rung me up, she now works elsewhere and she laughed and told me “yeah they get away with that a lot” (as people came in for refunds often being double charged for an item or didn’t get sale prices) and they are the most incompetent makeup store she’s worked in. She didn’t know the restarting register would charge me, she apologized for her part but she says I’ll probably never get a response from the store again. I organized three fashion shows in fall, summer, and winter and we bought most things from this location - that’s a good $1200 three times a year I’ll never spend there again. Can’t wait to take it to small claims court.

The sales associate is so rude and didnt smile. I asked for eyelash glue and she me a brand that wasnt NYX it was a white tube and was randomly there. Also they were not as helpful I asked for a lipstick shade that was on display one of the associate led me to where they kept all the lipsticks and gave me the wrong color I noticed it after my purchased. I was so upset Im not shopping here again I traveled 2 hours only to get the wrong products and bad service. Your best bet is to shop online they always have promotions I wasnt informed of one in store and I spent $60 when I couldve spent a fraction.

I had asked the employee to use my points when I pulled out my android she got upset (because the app is only available on iphone) so she had to manually put in my information. This is my second location visit and so far and they are in need of more employees. Love the product not the stores.

I do think the store is nice but Im giving it one star and should give it zero. I used a lipstick tester with a tester brush and got herpes on my lips. It looks disgusting, its embarrassing and I wonder what other germs are there too... Im very upset about this and will not be going back ever.

I came down to nyc to visit and I recently purchased the new “always keepin tight” it’s nice and new, but I open it it was empty. I kept twisting it and nothing came out -.-. I spent $9 of it. It was too late to go back and it’s far where I live. It’s annoying

I like going to the nyx store.i was looking for a certain product that the beauty supply stores in my neighborhood did not carry.it was a nyx product by the way.i call the nyx store and they had it. I hopped on the train and went over there and purchased two of the items I was looking for plus extra stuff the staff was very nice and helpful as soon as I walked in.its worth going to visit and the prices are good also.

This location sold me a defective mascara product and refused to return it because it was opened. I would have never known it was defective had I not opened it. The product was dried up. I attempted to return the product within a week of my purchase. The return policy is unfair and will deter return customers.

The service was terrible. I went with 2 of my friends and we were there for about 30 minutes... not ONE time did any of the staff greet us or ask us if we needed assistance. However their security guard followed us around the store! I am a professional makeup artist and NYX is not the cream of the crop for me to be followed like that in a store thats not that big in size. Very disappointing...

I entered the store on Black Friday, so I knew that it would be busy. I didnt mind. I had to restart my makeup collection, so I had no makeup on my face. I saw the manager walk by and I saw him look at me up and down and smirk in a way that made me very angry. I wouldve given this store more stars, but the way that the manager acted was unprofessional and frankly really disappointing. I really do love the other store workers there, but they didnt think that I would buy anything or buy much because of how I looked.
