Food service. Convenient location. Unfortunately their hours have not gone back to precovid hours... makes it hard to get what I need done... wished they were open again on Saturdays

I have been a customer of GVMC and its predecessor for more than 10 years. Until this year, GVMC had been reliable and good value for money, particularly regarding mail forwarding. However, GVMCs staffing levels have been badly affected by Covid-19, which has resulted in a substantial decline in the quality of its customer service. Although this might seem understandable, I have not received any forwarded mail in almost 4 months and GVMC no longer responds to emails, phone calls, or Facebook messages. Also, it is no longer possible to leave voice messages because the voicemail inbox is full. Because I dont live locally, Im not even sure if they are still in business. GVMC, if you are still around, please get in touch. Thank you. Gavin.

The Village Mail Center is a fabulous resource. They will deliver your package through any delivery service, including UPS and USPS.They offer package packing services; Xeroxing; computers; mailboxes; and they sell packing materials. And notary services!Ive used them for decades, and appreciate that the staff is courteous, good-humored; and knowledgeable. And patient in walking every customer through the available delivery options.Theirs is a very different vibe from the nearby UPS store. The staff here tends to be of long-standing. Theres a neighborly, personal connection that is just nice, yet always professional.

Unfortunately GVMC has fallen from a friendly small business to a completely unreliable dysfunctional mess. There was a change in management, perhaps thats why this place is often unreachable by both phone and email. Store hours are often subject to change without any warning, mail forwarding is not an option despite their advertising otherwise. Its sad to have to leave this review but its terribly unprofessional and untrustworthy. If youre looking for mailbox rental, look elsewhere!

They never open on time! they use to open at 8:00AM but they were always 30 min late ...so now they open at 8:30 but they dont get their until 9:00 am so its even worst... I use to go before work but now I have to wait till the weekends and now they closed Sundays so I can only go on Saturdays but they are still always late on Saturdays!!!!!!!!! I wish I could cancel my account but all my mail goes their and it would be a big task trying to change my address with all the companys I have transaction with... But if this continues I will be forced to cancel and look for another place.

This place is a gem. The guys who work here take pride in providing the best customer service, and I want them to know how much I appreciate it. Ive rented a mail box twice from them in the past three years for two moves that I had, and each time they went above and beyond to help in any way I needed (including storing boxes of books I had mailed to me for my cross country move). Top notch neighborhood service with a smile, always.

Hi just wanted to let you guys know I have been a client of and on for 4 years, I have used other mail stores before but you guys rock it no matter how busy you are some always acknowledges me and gets to me within a few minutes I have never had a situation that could not be resolved, I love the staff, you guys are great I have a small limo service and you always treat me like I am a million dollar client.My name Jon Quinones and I highly recommend using these guys .

BE VERY CAREFULL SENDING MAIL FROM HERE!! On November 20th I came to the mail center to purchase an envelope and stamp to send money to my sister. I was sending cash and asked the clerk on duty for a piece of paper so I could fold it up and put the money into. Ive sent cash to her on numerous occasions yet for some reason it hasnt reached her having it sent from here? I really hope it shows up soon so I can remove this review. Until that happens I can only assume this is the fault of Greenwich Village Mail Center and its employees. Learn from my mistake and get tracking or risk having your mail lost or stolen. Possibly by an employee. I went in and spoke with someone about this and he seemed to have no solution other than it was pretty much my fault and it cant be proved. Nice!

They have a notary on Saturday till 3pm! (At least they did today). $2 per signature.

Sign up for a mailbox at Greenwich Village Mail Center if you enjoy having your mail lost, an arrogant staff who refuses to help, and getting hung up on when you call to complain.

Shop closes at 7 but I also arrived last minute at 7pm last night. The door was already locked but when the guy saw my frustration, he came and open the door for me to pick up my package. I’m glad I signed up for a mailbox at this location.

Brought my daughter over for a passport photo in the sweltering heat and they didnt have the film for it.

I have inquired about pricing with 2 emails and i have called several times. Its like no one works here!
