I had a sweet tooth recently and wanted to purchase from a company that is black owned. Quick google search and I stumbled upon this NY gem. I ordered the (5) infused cakes in a jar. Shipping was quick and arrived beautifully packaged. I tried the Jack Daniel one not expecting not to taste much liquor but was pleasantly surprised! Cake was moist and it was ample to curb my sweet tooth. Also, for those with nut allergies (I am not but...) this is a great bakery to try out when deciding on where to try your next dessert. I will be ordering from them again!

We ordered 41 confetti cupcakes in a jar, three of which had to be delivered to alternate addresses. Before I go into other details let me get down to business: WOW. So good. My only wish was that the container was bigger. The frosting is amazing--whipped and creamy goodness. Its a delicious sweet treat without the sweetness being overpowering. My colleague told me that he wanted to eat as slowly as possible to enjoy it for as long as he could. Hah!Working with Craig was seamless from start to finish. He was incredibly responsive and answered all of my questions quickly and patiently.The cupcakes in a jar are packaged expertly. I expected to have boxes upon boxes delivered; but, somehow they managed to package it in one box. I ordered the Gluten free Caramel Vanilla Cupcakes in a jar and let me tell you, it tasted AMAZING. The cake was nice and moist and the frosting was sweet but not overwhelming! It was delicious!

Since my daughter is unable to have a birthday party due to Covid, I wanted to make sure that she could at least have special treats on her special day at her preschool. However this was a tall order, since the “treats” needed to be school safe (nut free), kosher, and individually wrapped. I am so grateful that I found Baked Cravings- whose cupcakes in a jar met all 3 criteria. Ordering online was so easy. And after I placed the order, I realized that I needed to add gluten free to the mix. I called the shop and I was able to make the change with ease. S’mores was great, but cookies and cream was just too good to compete. Caramel would have been awesome, but it was just a little dry. Mango slushies are perfect pairing. At last! School safe nut-free cupcakes in Manhattan! Are they good? You Bet. Are they comparable/better than Elenis? Absolutely! Since Elenis closed (you can only order cookies from their website), Baked Cravings is the only nut-free cupcake facility in New York City. I went on a wild goose chase to find an approved vendor for nut-free cupcakes for little ones birthday with her class, and I was beyond surprised how amazing they tasted and ordered a dozen more on top of my order.I want to add that I was referred to Baked Cravings from a fellow parent on the biggest online mommy group. Parents who relied on Elenis for their nut-free certification were unaware the store closed and many who gave me names of other stores were falsely under the assumption they were nut free. Rather, nut aware or nut free as much as possible means they cannot guarantee 100% and thus did not meet schools nut-free policy for bringing in birthday cakes/cupcakes.Nonetheless I was sad to see the closed sign on Elenis door in Chelsea Market. Our school told us the only school safe cupcakes were ones packaged by Treasure mills sold at supermarkets. I think these are made in Canada far from locally fresh baked. I just wish landlords collectively stop decimating small businesses by exorbitantly raising rents. And me and some other moms were disappointed that Elenis having monopoly on the nut-free cake market, thus knowing some of their customers were parents of little children with life-threatening nut allergies, could have done the unaltruistic deed by directing their website with alternatives.In the meantime, our school was excited to pass on Baked Cravings to parents looking to bring in cupcakes for their kids birthday celebrations. I passed around the extra cupcakes I bought on the spot and every single one said the cupcakes were of perfect texture and were amazing.

Heard good things so ventured out a bit to get half a dozen different cupcakes. Im not sure if we caught them on a bad day or what, but each was invariably worse than a cheap, off-the-shelf cupcake youd buy from a supermarket. Not nearly worth the ~$4/ea theyre charging. I probably wouldnt eat them if they were free. The icing was hard and coagulated, flavorless. The cakes themselves meandered between dry, crumbly, and flavorless. Baked Cravings seems to cash in on cupcake craze prices while delivering acutely disappointing products. Out of the 6 purchased, the lemon was the only one Id even think about touching again. If there were nothing else to eat in the immediate vacinity. BEYOND confused at the 4.8 star rating.

We were celebrating the first anniversary of our rescue Siberians. Because we are all shutterbugs when it comes to these two gorgeous cats, we hit on the idea of Baked Cravings and we ordered 2 different photo cupcake batches and couldnt resist trying a bakers dozen of photo cookies. I saw it as I drove by and had to bring my kids in to taste test . We bought chocolate chip cookie brownie and mixed cake pieces. They were delicious.

I ordered Cookies and Creme cupcakes for my brothers birthday last Saturday. When I went to pick them up, I saw some other amazing cupcake flavors. I purchased the strawberry shortcake and the red velvet they were both amazing. Will definitely be coming back in the future. My only regret is that I did not notice this gem all this time.

As someone with severe life-threatening peanut and tree nut allergies, the premise of Baked Cravings was more than enough to get me excited. I’ve known about them for a while and had a few of their baked goods at a time, but I was so happy to see that they delivered during this time. The cupcakes made my quarantine birthday great and I’ll always be a huge fan and supporter. The only thing I would change is that I wish I could order one brownie at a time - the cheesecake brownie is my absolute favorite!

I walked 25 minutes each way to try the gluten free cupcake and it was WORTH IT. The vanilla caramel cupcake tasted just like a Starbucks caramel frappacino! Delicious!!!

I love that its also gluten free and they have GF optionsI also think the buttercream here is not TOO sugary / overly sweet like some other shops around town Ive tried like Magnolia / Sprinkles franchises just dump a whole bag of sugar and it gives me a toothache and has no flavor. I respect the quality and taste that Baked Cravings produces. one of my top 2 favorite cupcake store in Manhattan.Prices are $2.50-3.50 per cupcake. Cheaper than many other shops and these are large in size.Tip: Make sure to microwave your cupcakes 5-8 seconds before serving for a fluffy buttercream as their frosting tends to be rock hard from their fridge

BUT let me tell you hun.The packaging was perfect, they are super wrapped for safe arrival. Like these things had the plastic, they were safely wrapped in and out of the container.The sprinkles were perfect, the frosting was PERFECT. Cupcakes were on the sweeter side with the frosting.The FUNFETTI Donut things were just fabulous like literally perfection. If youre thinking about ordering from here just do it.Was gonna post a pic on insta but my housemates ate everything before I blinked an eye.Will have to place another order soon!!

Just tried their cupcakes in a jar. Not only was it really expensive but they tasted horrible. Bad aftertaste. Maybe it was just a bad one but Im not impressed and dont intend to try again.

We stopped by here after a visit to Mt Sinai’s Allergy Center with our son. Firstly, this nut-free bakery is actually totally nut free. Amazing! I wish I had asked the name of the man working the counter. He was SO FRIENDLY. I ordered the gluten free chocolate cupcake. It was DELICIOUS! It was not dry and did not leave that”gf” after taste like many Gf baked goods. Red velvet and cookies and cream were also great according to the hubs and son. This is the ONLY peanut free bakery in the area. Highly recommended!

Had the infused red velvet moscato it was ok kind of dry if you ask me and it was a bit pricey. I couldn’t taste a drop of alcohol. But the staff is friendly. But putting two cupcakes in a jar and charging $12.50 is genious. They got me 😒
