Receptionist has attitude problems. They need to train the employees better. When asking questions all I got was attitude from them. Besides selling garbage came in to return they treated me like I was crazy

DO NOT consign with them! I don’t even want to rate 1 star if I have the choice. I had shipped a dress to them 4 months ago and got a feedback saying the dress was not real. I was so surprised since I bought it myself and it must be 100% authentic. I waited for one month then I receive the dress. It wasn’t the one I sent to them!! It turned out that they made a mistake and shipped a wrong one to me… so I shipped it back and asked for compensation. And they agreed to do that since it’s their fault. And I waited for another 2 months. Now it’s October!!! And I got nothing!!!! I cannot even get my dress back! What can I say about TRR. It’s worst!!!

DO NOT consign with them. I consigned two Ferragamo dresses with them, which have been sold. I never received any information for how much they sold and never received any money. My online profile never showed that I consigned anything with them. Fraudulent company. Stay away!

Do not sell anything with them, they offer you less than half of the price they sell it too. the products I quote it was 40% of half the retail price. What a joke.

The representative initially lied to me about what commission percentage Id get for my two items. Once I saw how little Id receive on TRR website, I requested my items back. They said they would mail them, and after following up, it looks like they have lost my items. Extremely disappointed and shocked how they can loose designer purses - will never shop or consign with TRR again.

I shipped a few pieces to be consigned. One of them were not accepted. And I have waited for over a month and still not get them back. Now I have to move out of my current address, so I will never get my items back (which is a vintage piece I got in Paris...).There are so many other consignment stores in NYC that charge less fee and are more responsible to your items.

Sold me two pairs of fake Louboutins and then would only give me credit back. This was online but I have no where to warn people about the lack of authentication. Additionally I saw the fakes get relisted and sold again! Don’t use them.

I thought unsubscribing to their overwhelming number (up to six a day) of unsolicited emails would be as easy as they claim. Follow the link click unsubscribe and voila. After four or five unsubscribe attempts, all returning successful messages, and an exchange with customer service I am still being buried in spam.Given this company’s failure to fulfill such a simple task, I will never do business with them. I cannot imagine they are able to perform a business function as complex as order fulfillment.UPDATEAfter receiving their reply to this review instructing me to contact with a DM, I did so the same day. More than a week later still waiting for customer service to respond to that DM. TheRealReal continues to underwhelm at every level. Everyone has different experiences with vendors, but my experience leads me to advise caution when dealing with them.

2020, I purchased a red Hobobag from Gucci for $1300.00. The promise from TheRealReal to ship within 2 days was not kept. After mail inquiries, it was not shipped until 5 days later. The bag came to the German customs. Here were again costs and taxes of 60% in addition. That I have to pay taxes I was aware of, but if I had known that the costs are over 50% extra, I would never have purchased the bag. Thr RealReal should have mentioned this information in detail in their general terms and conditions. The bag was simply packaged: a disposable dust bag, no invoice, no card. For an exclusive store, I would have expected more. I sent everything as a complaint, the response was terse and impersonal. I do not recommend buying from TheRealReal. Very poor service!

DO NOT CONSIGN OR BUY HERE - I spent $5,000+ on a piece of jewelry. It was supposed to come with a certificate of authenticity and another collateral, but they were not shipped with the jewelry. I rightfully assume they lost it and I feel bad for the consigner.I decided I couldnt trust the quality of work here, so I returned the item and I am trying to get a refund. However, they have not processed the refund for over two weeks - and they emailed me today saying I should ship in the collaterals... lack of which was my precise reason for return!

I went in to set up a consignment on some sneakers. Everyone was very polite and the entire process was done very fast and efficiently.

Fake fake thank you for sent me a fake Gucci bag. I’m out of words.
