This Starbucks was massive and so cool to experience! You can see how the beans are moved from one side to the other through the large pipes on the ceiling. The staff there are really cool and best of all, the hot chocolate was amazing! Really cool decor and design. I would definitely come back again!
When I went to order the person at the front had an attitude to the point where I gave her an attitude back, I asked for 3 sausage, egg, cheese sandwich for breakfast but one of them I wanted without the egg and when I got my order they all didn’t have egg. But overall there was a nice lady who was giving out the orders and I told her that I ordered 3 sandwiches but one without egg and she politely told me that she couldn’t take them back but she would make me 2 new ones. Over all it’s a good place but the people are the problem except for her.
Good place to meet up and have an ice tea. Friendly staff.
No reserve drinks. Lady at the register had no idea what I was talking about when I pointed out the reserve espresso machine at the adjacent counter. Perhaps remove the reserve or put a sign up or let your people know maybe.Music was god awful and far too loud. Seriously guys, this is not a nightclub.
Yesterday, (June 30th, 2021) my mom really needed to use the bathroom and she went to Starbucks and asked to use the bathroom nicely and even said it was an emergency but one of the employees said No, its closed with an attitude and slammed the door in her face. This was a lie because she saw someone come out the bathroom. My aunt also had to use the bathroom and she asked in which they told her she had to purchase something in order to use the bathroom. After purchasing something she asked once again if she could use the bathroom and they said no and didnt let her. Me and my family are no longer clients of Starbucks.
Not an actual Starbucks Reserve, just a regular starbucks. No reserve drinks or beans in tubes or anything like that. Long queue and overly loud music.
They had a person who made my drinks. Very rude very rude very rude. On the other hand the cashier girl was super professional and sweet
They are super busy and trying their best to be so quick which I appreciateI love the ambiance and it is so convenient as they are so close to W Hotel
We had affogatos and cold smoked coffe and the service was amazing! Robert is so attentive and made our experience all the more enjoyable. Ask for home if you can!
You are the worst!!!!Time square people deserve way better than that you don’t even know how to treat customers!!! Shame on you
Nice large Starbucks right in Times Square with a Starbucks Reserve inside also. Great location, and fast service.
Great place for communal eating brunch, lunch, dinner. Friends, family or dates. Happy hour is incredible deal. A decent bottle of red is $20 and ordering one of the many delicious pizza or pizza slices you get pizza like breadsticks. Thinly sliced pizza types of various sort. Clean friendly staff. Wine bar is great. Has wonderful options to choose from. Perfect spot if you are close by and want a go-to you know everyone will find something they like.
Nice location right in Times Square.
Ordered a online drink order, just one latte. Being a visitor to NYC selected a wrong starbucks three street down. Waited, asked, waited some more. They realized it was the wrong address. Requested if they can still make a drink.. they refused, just one drink ($4) when drinks get tossed out Willy nilly when not being made to customer liking. They said sorry you have to go to the other location . Being pride month roads were blocked and had to catch ride back so I had to forgo. One horrible experience of New York hospitality.
Great place to chill out before a Broadway show.
Big and fancy starbucks located on the heart of time squareThey have all the starbucks regular stuff and loads of merchandise including new york been there mugs
Slow service took forever and they still got the order wrong
We visited this Starbucks on Christmas Eve. The store itself is beautiful with lots of merchandise (some of it Times Square and Starbucks Reserve specific) and the design is great for moving people through quickly. Our barista, Tatayana was friendly, welcoming, and made our visit wonderful. There are Starbucks everywhere, but this location is worth going out of your way for.
Never come to this Starbucks- multiple times - long waits just to put the order since they don’t put enough people in front and then on regular basis 10-20 min late for simple orders where they are yelling at people that ask about their orders
Went today for first time food was amazing get the Chicken Cacciatore it’s amazing but not on menu for some reason the waiter and I discovered that today. But it was so good and the single shot espresso was strong abs smooth to taste. The waiter was amazing Lady on inside taking your temperature not so much but whatever.I say go at least once for this posh experience if you’ve never been .
The worst service EVER! Ive never being screamed at for trying my coffee, for taking that one sip to make sure its all right. It is absolutely outrageous! When you walk in on a cold day to THE Starbucks you would expect to get a cup of hot coffee and warm bliss. What I got that evening is awful, just awful. I have no other words. Neither me, nor my friends will come to that unprofessional location ever again.
Long line but moved quickly
Incredibly kind staff! A glitch had happened where my mobile order went through before they had opened and after getting their attention through the window, which they responded promptly, they quickly took care of it and got my order. As someone who has dealt with opening procedures with a business i know how inconvenient it can be to drop what your doing so close to open (they opened in 15-20 minutes). The morning staff of August 1st are amazing, and definitely add a personable touch to their business in a world were its really easy not to.
This was the slowest Starbucks I’ve ever been.
Hot chocolate mocha was bad.
Horrible costumes service, ten employees working at same time, and still customers have to wait there order for 15 min.
Coffee is bitter and to strong
No power outlets. 👎🏾
Hot chocolate mocha was bad. Tasted like sugar syrup
This was such a cool Starbucks. Its VERY loud, so I would go here to work or when I need to be hyper focused. The location is convenient and it much more lively than a typical Starbucks
This Starbucks is literally the worst. I am forced to come here when I have to work early in the morning and the employees are the slowest moving group I have ever seen. The barista makes one drink at a time despite a long line. This morning one employee literally spent the entire time I was there admiring the new holiday cup collection. I used to work at a coffee shop in the morning and this was not the level of hustle we had.
I couldn’t pee because the bathrooms were closed
Nice big place and all but worst experience ever, and I’ve been to a variety of Starbucks locations. I ordered by mobile this morning, a simple warmed plain bagel and nearly half an hour later I finally receive my order despite asking 15 minutes before that. I tried to get the attention of employees who were literally milling about and not doing anything and was either ignored or dismissed. I’m extremely frustrated and shocked beyond disbelief. I don’t consider myself an unreasonable person, I understand how difficult and chaotic morning rush can be especially at Starbucks but I’ve never had to wait for my order (and just food, not even a drink) for so long. 15 minutes tops, and even then it’s because they ran out of whatever I ordered and wish to know if I want something else in exchange. I have no idea what just happened, people who ordered after me got their orders and their 3+ warmed items before I did. Absolutely ruined my morning.
The service was fast, helpful. Just everything as it should be. Coffee delicious. I have to say that I havent found so tasty coffee in the other Starbucks branches in the world like here. You have made my stay in New York more pleasant and thank you for that.
Starbucks in NY is like starbucks roulette - i order an unsweetened iced tea and get unknowingly rang up for a sweet tea lemonade. I always bring my reusable cup, half the time they forget to ring it as a personal cup and every time i still watch them prepare it in a plastic cup anyway.. (whats the point of selling the reusable cups if youre still gonna use single-use plastics?)
The great usual Starbucks. But I’m giving it this rate only because of the staff. They need some training about attitude and to be friendly. They really need to smile. Not all of them though but I would say most of them.I had iced mocha and it was good enough. But I say it would taste better if it was made with some love :)I hope next time I’m in New york you be better Time Square Starbucks.
Good and clean
I ordered four cups of coffee but they did not offer only half of them. I told them that and they started to brew coffee. It took so long time and it was already late to enjoy it due to my appointment. I have been a lot of starbucks around the world, and it was the worst service I have ever offered.
Times Squares, the cross roads of the world.Great location to feel NYC at its best. Tourist and locals hustle and bustle together. The vibe of NYC along with the vibe of the world here in harmony can be enjoyed by all.Everyone is all smile, polite and courteous despite the rainy days during the Harvest Moon Festival yesterday. The staff here are fast on their toes with the service, but they are very professional
I’m a big Starbucks fan. Go to Starbucks all the time. But this is supposed to be a Reserve store, being a decent suite, yet it barely had any seating. Even along the windows, you had to stand because there were not enough seats. Getting fed up with what’s going on. First they’re taking the comfy furniture out of stores, then no furniture at some. Do you want my business or not? It’s more than just people sitting there all day long. I just wanted to sit for 10 minutes to drink my drink after walking around for hours.
As as Starbucks can be!
Starbuckss answer to the third wave coffee shops! Nice, limited and delicious coffees with several brewing techniques! Recommended!
Went here twice last week, once for coffee, once just to buy stuff. The staff were friendly and even joked with me both times. The coffee was the good quality I have come to expect from Starbucks. Considering how freakishly busy they must ALWAYS be being across the street from a hotel, and kitty-corner to Times Square, the staff were handling the store very well, and with good humor and grace. I must say, compared to some of the service I have gotten in San Francisco, this particular Starbucks actually had better service. A surprise gem in the somewhat grumpy East Coast.
Cool and spacious Starbucks. There are few tables with chairs for sitting down, but other than that everything is alright. I absolutely loved the macha latte (which, by the way, is plenty sweet even without added sugar because there is natural milk sugar (lactose) in the milk, which the heating up brings out nicely).
Always willing to give you water. And the services is fast and friendly. The coffee is also delicious.
Amazing food but dont expect them to be open on time. Its almost 7:40am and they were supposed to be open at 7am. There were at least 5 people who gave up because they weren’t open.
Waiting for your drink among a hundred people is crazy.. But the baristas are on-point here. The music is pumping and the place smells delicious! The bathroom is almost always out of toilet paper though, so bring some napkins.
The worst Starbucks Ive ever been to. Waited 20mins for 2 almond milk coffees, no seating, the baristas not communicating well! I thought Starbucks in NYC is where it would be slick but much better in the UK.
This was my first time visiting this location. This location is huge, organized, and very clean. Their customer service is great ! :)
Great place to go when u want something better than average coffee!
Still charges extra for plant-based / vegan milk and, does not have unsweetened varietals (of plant-based / vegan milk).it gets a star for the clean space and good use of table space but, falls flat when it comes to profiting off of what should be standard and, for their lack of unsweetened options.there are definitely better places to head to within close proximity, in nyc.
Nice toasty cheese sandwich, venti triple shot latte and a piece of coffee cake......what a way to start the day !!!
This place is awesome my favorite place
Its right at the corner of the Time square, so its convenient if youre in the area during the winter craving for a hot drink. Its well designed deco and well equipped. However, the place is also design for not letting you linger, so seatings are minimal, and dont bother trying to recharge your phone, all electrical outlets are sealed.
Great service! Baristas were very personal and knowledgeable
The establishment looks upscale however the wait time is long . I had to wait 15 minutes for my ice coffee. The good thing was my coffee was strong 💪. . Honestly I wasnt expecting the wait time to be long on Saturday morning (7:30am) . Inext time Ill order through app #betterlucknexttime
This is the best Starbucks I have found in NYC. Huge with two line and station set ups so traffic goes faster. But also best selection of all the ones around. Select reserve coffee options. And location is right in theater district.I know Starbucks are on every other corner but this is the one to make your destination.
It would be great if Starbucks would use paper cups which could be recycled. This Starbucks is close to the hotel I use when visiting New York - I have visited here most years for the past 5 years or so. Up until this year the service here has been pretty good. This year I visited it 4 times and experienced long queues and slow service, so I guess they are understaffed. Hopefully it will improve in the future.
Its a really cool area but not much space for seating. If youre fine with standing and regular Starbucks things, its the spot for you!
Its a big place with little seating, so clearly it was designed so that people would be in and out quickly. The workers are friendly enough. Good place for a drink and a snack.
Tastes different than what im used to back in west coast. A lot better. Not so clean given the fact that this location is super busy.
Wonderful staff! Great location. Hot coffee. And awesome conversation! It is a pleasure making this stop each day!
They make the store fancy just to charge 50% more than a “regular” Starbucks.
Not what I expected from a Reserve Bar. No single-origin coffees to buy, no one doing anything at the experience bar, and barely any seats. Full of people just coming in to buy snacks. It should be a regular Starbucks carry-out location with Times Square merchandise, because thats what this one focused on. Go to the Roastery or another Reserve Bar in the city to see what this one should be like.
I went here 3 mornings on my second stay in NY. Of those 3 trips twice they got my order wrong and one time tried charging me again although Id paid $17 for 2 coffees and 2 bagels to which I was only given 1 coffee. Service here is extremely poor, definitely try another coffee shop
By far the best coffee very enjoyable good atmosphere highly recommend it
Always is a good place to meet with friends and family, and warm it up
Super friendly to people visiting there city and asking dumb questions like myself, very good environment and great cause they dont let the homeless that smells horrible just sit in there restaurantStill over priced coffee but when theres no tim hortons you gotta make the sacrifice as much as it hurts lol
One of the worst locations that i have ever been! So many times it happens that my mobile order is missing(stolen i guess) and whenever i order it takes forever for them to make my order! I had so many mistaken orders on this location so i beleive its just this location! One block away is way better, everytime i get my mobile orders faster and they never disappear!
Very big but also very crowded. Four lines to order, but only a few tables to sit. So, perfect for take away😉
This Starbucks is huge! Lots of merchandise to pick from that is not in a smaller store. Lots of seating. Many order stations to help the large crowd! Beautiful!
Melissa is the best and most helpful barista! She made our drinks the best weve ever had!
They earned their 1 star. I would give them 0 stars if I could. Waited over 30 minutes just to get a simple chia. After 15 minutes I told them they forgot my order. They said “sorry coming right up”...... after 20 minutes I asked again. They apologized AGAIN and said it’s coming up right away...... 30 minutes later, again, I ask where is my order?? Then there was a shift change, then I had to explain to the new employee who just entered the shift what was going on. She finally makes me my chia. It’s tastes absolutely terrible as if she didn’t care and was rushed. It tasted like watered down warm milk. I threw it away. Didn’t bother to reorder. Absolutely awful, and terrible experience. This place is managed very poorly. Extremely disorganized. I’m not the only one who waited forever to get a simple order. This has to be the worse Starbucks in the U.S. Go somewhere else in Times Square.
Decently-sized location in the heart of Times Square. Not huge. This is supposedly their New York flagship but it doesnt feel that epic. They have a pretty good range of merchandise like mugs and even some French presses, but it is hard to buy because they do not even have anyone staffed at the special bar with the Clover drinks. For such a prime location you think they would make the investment in an additional barista or two.
I ordered a Strawberry Acai lemonade in a small and everything was fine my juice was good however when I compared my cup size to my friend (who also got a small) my cup was smaller. I’m just not understanding
