I really like this place because it has a good ambiance and not too crowded as well. The coffee and pastries that they had were so delicious. The barista was so friendly and pleasant to talk with. One thing that I got fascinated by this place. They had the most affordable and delicious coffee in town.
This coffee shop is situated on a busy street full of food stalls. The iced chestnut praline latte coffee I had was good, just not as powerful as Id like it to be. The waffle was delicious, though. If youre wandering around and wanted a snack, Id suggest that you grab a waffle and taste the coffee.
Very sad update, they were closed by the Marshals the first week of February, 2021 and is now in possession of the landlord. What a tough couple of years for them with all the MTA construction for the L line and then of course Covid.---Such a cute place. Please go before they tear down the building. Something this nice never lasts long these days here.
What I like about this coffee shop is that they really got my taste when it comes to coffee and pastries. It is not that sweet, and that is perfect. You deserve to be known by many! Expect me to recommend your service to all my colleagues and went here once again. Thank you!
There are a lot of good people working there that made them be on top and well-grown. The coffee is great, interior design is excellent, and the foods are delicious. This place is great for studying or getting some work done or chatting with friends. The prices also are very affordable. Thank you very much!
I had morning coffee and breakfast at this coffee shop! The coffee was unusual, I had a cold brew, and it didnt disappoint me at all. The sandwiches were also great, and I can customize them and satisfied with the results. Plus, All the staff here are friendly and attentive. We will come back and recommend the place to my friends.
I had my regular coffee this morning, Flat White, and I tried their sandwich with Curry Egg Salad + bacon, and it was a great match! Amazing! The sweetness and a little kick of curry spice with toasted bread! This coffee shop is mostly for the morning people, like me! Uh, thanks!
We loved everything about this place! Coffee was great, and the pastries were fresh and tasty. I also appreciated the water that they brought with our order.
Im giving this place 5 stars for two things they have there that are AMAZING. First is their burgers. And last is this lobster bisque. That soup is literally the best soup I have ever had in my 37 years alive and I love soup!!!
They have great coffee. And people serving you are polite and wonderful.
My mother and I come here all the time whenever were in the area and absolutely love it! Very friendly staff, accommodating and understanding. The food is really good if your on the go or even for a sit down. The owner and daughter, two very loving people, are the best and make you feel at home. A DEFINITE recommend spot!
Excellent service, friendly staves, and a cozy coffee shop! I am so thankful to be one of your customers. Every time I came here, I always have your mochaccino and red velvet cake. Your staves always served my order immediately, and I thanked them for that. I should highly recommend this shop to everyone who loves coffee!
Not too shabby. Decent food. Dont like the type of traffic walking by, meaning homeless and people begging for food. But the food was good and cheap.
Nice place. i want to believe the food is good. but spent 25min waiting for an egg sandwich on a very non-busy morning. no one had any sense of urgency. surprised this place is still in business if they’re moving like this.
Fantastic little coffee shop. Open 24 hours. I love to stop by this place after work and on between bar hopping. The staff are so nice. Highly recommended.
My boyfriend and I went to this coffee shop thrice during our stay and even went once for lunch. The servings at breakfasts were excellent and also delicious. We both had Blonde Caramel Brulée Latte, which was by far the most popular in this coffee shop for their signature blends. We will be coming back again!
Priceless gemOnly all-night diner I could find within walking distanceExactly the kind of place I was hoping to find again when I moved here 15 years ago after having come to NYC as a tourist in high schoolNice Greek ownersVery warm atmosphere with good classic rock of the 80s & 90sLike walking back into another eraProbably where Billy Joel composed New York State of MindThe city should make a law to preserve this place exactly as it is so people can see what the city was like 40 years ago
I utterly adore this place. They are right around the corner from me. I call for an order anytime 24/7 and they’re there in about 20 minutes. I love the people who answer the phone to take orders and the delivery people. It is a Stuy Town monument!
Service fast, waiters very nice courteous.
Is Dive Diner a thing, if so this is the place. They charge a 3. 75% administration fee, which is a complete rip-off. it is not applied to those who pay with a check or cash. Do people still use checks? I wish I had a paper check so I could just try and use it. I suspect they wouldnt actually take it, but the sign says the few is not apply to those who pay with cash or checks. I had bacon and eggs and they were below average at best. I visited on a hot summer afternoon and the place was uncomfortably warm. they have three non commercial portable air conditioners trying to cool the place, but its not working. If its over 80 degrees outside I suggest you try another place. Coffee was good and the service was decent, does the place looks like something out of the Soviet Union in the 60s.
Awesome eggs and sausage and patatoes. im very particular about the taste of my eggs but my friend who took.me there insisted that i come while i was skeptical but was not disappointed. I.was actually surprised. Very good. I see now why it was his spot
Skip at all costs. Ordered something very specific and they messed it up. Also my friend got a sandwich, it did not sit well to say the least ... this is place is not great. Nice dudes tho ...
Everything was really good the service the food with the exception of the home fries it was half burnt no flavor at all major let down
My kids and I ordered cheeseburgers and french Fries. ( Simple meal) the burger was half cooked, they forgot the cheese.. definitely not even worth the cost ... It was empty.... Now I see why
This food is so good Im leaving this review as Im eating ...... servers are old school and super friendly. I got a complete full breakfast with unlimited coffee for 16 bucks. If ur one of those super picky gluten free....vegan....pescatarian blah blah blah please stay away
Great eggs. Taste amazing and memorable and the sausage. I was thinking omg no diner breakfast. I wanted good food lol. But it was great eggs. Surprisingly special. I wonder what else is good there. Will check it out next time im around.
I take breakfast here every week. The morning staff is friendly and professional. Prices are really good!
Love this place! the food is always adequate, the service is amazing, and the atmosphere is the best i have ever experienced. would highly recommend.
This is the newest Saturday hang-out spot in the East Village on the weekends in NYC each and every weekend that the waves are NOT breakin in Long Beach or upon the Jersey Shore. Excellent coffee, omelettes, eggs, toast, grits and, most especially, service! Seems that the wait staff can sense us coming up Avenue A or through the StuyTown Oval and are brewing up the Joe for our rag-tag crew of East Villagers. We love it!!!
Love this traditional New York diner that serves up all the classics (eggs, homefries, toast, coffee pancakes etc.) with a smile. Service is Eggs-cellent!!!
Amazing coffee here love it
Nice new and great coffee
Small and great service wonderful. Good food. Especially their Burgers.
Great place for breakfast. It took all of three minutes for my eggs, sausage, home fries and toast order and the coffee comes in a quarter inch thick mug we all have had in the past. It is exactly what is promised and is affordable by Manhattan standards. Couldnt go there every day, but it is a fantastic option to have in Sty-town.
Its the lower east side and coffee two.of my favourite things. And the coffee is pretty good considering americans are notorious for bad coffee.
Good service but sometimes when calling for delivery, the order is not complete. Better service when you go to the place. It’s clean and regular coffee shop food that’s good !
So like its cool since its 24 hours but honestly the coffee tasted like it was cooked on a grill. Fries were good.
Coffee taste good and carrot cake. Chocolate layer not so much. A lot of deserts on menu not available so you are left craving what you cant have. Good service.
This place feels like home. A tourist attraction this place is not. One of my go to places for late nite diner goodness. Plus one of the guys there reminds me of the soup guy from Seinfeld (in appearance only).
Love this coffee shop. It feel like a place were the people of the Neighborhood gather
Great location, great eats. Exactly what we were looking for. Cute little diner with friendly staff :)
This was the most attentive and comforting coffee shop at 3 AM with fresh coffee and great breakfast food. What a gem.
A bagel with cream cheese, tomatoe and bacon is $8.00. How is it more expensive than a egg breakfast sandwich. Unbelievable. And then it doesnt even taste good. Overpriced and not worth it.
The best in the east side of 14th street......a landmark a must visit
Your perfect run down dinner. Service is great. Food is below average, and a little expensive. Charm is everything
Feel like the place is on its last legs. Is a basic coffee shop, but feel the food quality has deteriorated over the years so I rarely go. The construction along 14th is probably not helping either as it is pretty noisy.
My cozy go to spot. Food is good. A little pricey but that comes with the neighborhood.
Great food and great service.
Love they food
Very nice place, conveniently located. Stopped in for a small coffee to go, which was delicious, and that carrot cake looked delicious, too. Very nice counter staff, as well.
Comfy! I love that it is 24 hours and that you can literally stay and chill here all night if you want. There is a $4 per person charge per table so you definitely have to order something.
Good price for this side of town .and good food .😀
Friendly service and a hearty meal.
Fantastic diner! Classic diner menu, with great breakfast and bottomless coffee. Not for foodies, but the perfect spot for american fare and comfort food with no surprises.
They are unprofessional and have bad customer service. The food is good but most of the time they get my order wrong. The man who answers the phone is rude, before I can finish saying anything he just hangs up on me. I will not be ordering from them anymore!
Good food, good price, great service.
At 6am coffee should be HOT not warm. With only two people at the back table, the cashier had to repeat my order three times and still got it wrong. My order was bacon and egg on a roll to go. How hard is that...
Horrible Horrible Horrible.....When you call for delivery, they rob you!!!$47 for 2 orders of chicken fingers with fries and 1 order of a Cheeseburger delux!!! This is not the first time they overcharge. I could see if they offer super fresh and fancy meals but thats not the case. Its a typical local diner that should have been renovated 50 years ago!!! Bunch of thieves!!!!
One of the few dinner left. Its ok
Always friendly service. Great omelettes. Good home fries. Nice and prompt for neighborhood delivery, as well.
Very authentic, quick and friendly service.. but the food is not very impressive the price taken into account.
I really give them ZERO stars because the man who answered the phone told me to “HUSH Moreno” while I was telling him my order... I did not know if it was my voice that made him think I am black but I asked him for his name... All he told me was that his name was Steve...
Always good, the real one fo sho.
Staff is great. Food is yummy! Portions are huge so come hungry!
Im picky about diners. Had breakfast at the counter a few times. A neighborhood joint. I loved it.
Thursday morning-I ordered over medium eggs with Canadian bacon and home fries together with a large Cappucino--to go!I get raw (barely cooked) eggs-you can see the clear color whites, three thinly sliced round pieces of Canadian bacon and tasteless home fries. The large Cappuccino was poured into a LARGE cup but it was only filled less than half--tasted like water. All for $9.65. I will not go to this place again. One star-hate it.Two stars-the guy who rang my order was polite, but everything else was wrong!!!
24 hours Diner style restaurant pretty big dish for breakfast, brunch, lunch, dinner
First off they treated me with straight disrespect waiter was extremely rude Ive lived. In stuytown my whole life place is known for terrible food ur better off honestly going to veselka or IHOP and honestly its really dirrty on the low ive been comong here for years so what if I o my buy 3 coffees.
First time there didnt eat much had a cup of chicken noodle soup and grill cheese with bacon they were good but I didnt like the fact that one of the guys was mopping the floor while I was eating
35 Yrs in the business and always great service & inexpensive eats .. keep up the good work!
Good, old fashioned diner, with excellent food, and a clean environment. Friendly staff and great service.
Its the coffee shop.... one of the oldest remaining spots in the hood
Pancakes ham sausage and eggs ordered using less than 5 words. I dont need anything more in life for breakfast.
A perfect 24 hour coffee shop. Everyone who works here is nice, and they serve perfect diner coffee.
Its old school diner but a real feel not fake services is good not other people say cant expect a five star restaurant but I love it
Great dinner! Nothing special just a tipical hole in the wall diner with good food 24hrs a day
Its a nice place to sit and just eat. Comfortable
Delicious and amazing as always. Best fries in town, and this veggie burger is so amazing!
Why arent you eating here? WAY better than arti coke pizza
Great diner food and staff is very friendly and nice.
They make the best ice cream bowls...dont forget the breakfast menu. Grits and eggs. My favorite.
They have terrible customer service. When it comes to delivering, If you receive your food more than an hour late or they give you the wrong order they dont offer any discounts or apologize for it.
I went with Evelyn to eat a very good lunch the service was very good the food was also I plan to make it a weekly thing now it a place to be together, talk, enjoy the walk, and the ambiance of a old classic
I call for info about their store and they lied. I went down there and then what they toldme wasnt true. Big waste of time, if you want unhospitality and to be served by liars go there great for that.
Best lil coffee shop in town
Great diner coffee, always fresh, deep rich flavor. Never burnt.
An old-fashioned coffee shop/diner with a pretty big menu. Service was fast and food was really good.
Good food..nice place
Daily breakfast club guy. One big turn off and its going to stop me from returning. Thats a 3% admin fee they are charging for credit cards. Im saying to myself as I look at my receipt Are you kidding me
This place is great ! Consistent food friendly and clean.
Food great 24 hours .
Old-fashioned new york diner/grill.
Great food and service
Real great food and worth a visit
A classic old school diner where for 15 bucks with tax and tip you can get two eggs with corned beef hash, a side of toast and all the coffee you can drink. And you can do that whether youre going to bed at 5 AM or getting up at 5 AM.
Awesome food and freshly made in front of you
