Crispy Kreme Penn station. In the lobby of Penn station. As far as Donut experiences go, I give it an above average reviews since I prefer their donuts over Duncan. However, Crispy being a chain, isnt on the same level as the custom bakery donuts or the craft donuts like the donut factory on Grand St.However, I must predicate by saying I am no Donut connoisseur. In summary: its better than Duncan, but a step behind the craft donut establishments. This location appeared to have larger selection than the location in downtown financial district.
Awesome Krispy Kreme! Even though it’s underground where the train station is, there is always a large selection of donuts available.Even if the line looks long, don’t be discouraged - it’s very fast moving. Donuts have always been fresh and it’s a very clean storefront!Definitely recommend stopping by if you’re starting, finishing, or even mid-way through your commute!Note: On National donut day, they DO give free donuts. Nothing beats their classic glazed donut.Pros:-Amazing donuts, super fresh and warm-Wide range of donuts available-Friendly staffCons:-Sometimes a long line - but it does move relatively fast
Best place to get fresh, tasty donuts. Their donuts start from $2.19 which is worst it for the way these donuts taste. This is a great place to get your donuts from since its usual not busy so there’s no wait. They bring out special new ones for each holiday and season which is really something to be exited for. Overall if you’re looking for a great donut go to any krispy creme but go here if you don’t want to wait in a line.
Krispy Kreme has a promotion of a free coffee and donut on Mondays, but this locations manager had instructed staff to give only if they have a vaccine card. The cashier eventual gave me one when I presented the offer to her. Had no half and half for the coffee at 800am, odd. The donut was also more of a sample size, 3 bites top, but delicious.
Its always a great experience going there. They are always nice and friendly and is always nice when I cant decide which 6 donut I want 😅. Thanks yall. You are the best ❤️
Doughnuts that you expect and love from KK. But the coffee taste like gasoline.
The Times Square flagship is finally open with social distance measures in place! You can reserve a time slot online in case it gets too full. Loved watching them bake fresh hot donuts and there was more swag to buy then you could imagine. Their Big Apple donut is $10.99 but comes in the cutest gift box if you want to surprise someone special. The red frosting looked too good to eat!
Angie is da bomb! I had purchased a couple of donuts there yesterday. Staff was attentive and respectful. Donuts as usual fabulous. BUT I MUST HAVE LEFT MY WALLET THERE! Got all the way to Long Island, called without having any hope it would be found. But Angie had it, held onto it until I could pick it up today, and returned it to me intact. She even refused to take any reward. What a doll!
This is literally the worst location for a piece of heaven. However, once a week, I descend into the madness and indulge. Great donuts, decent coffee. Worth the trouble.
Friendly staff and professional staff especially Kat, one of my favourite stops in the station
I love krispy Kreme wish you was in stamford Ill be in there 24/7 asap you every morning krispy Kreme is my favorite donuts
The workers at Penn Station were rude and confrontational. I asked for a small box for my 3 donuts in a box made for 3 donuts. They were confrontational about a box. They asked me for ID when I showed them my Covid card...somerhing they had never done b4. The whole guest experience negative. I will not be going back to this location, not because of the product, but the workers! They dont represent the brand well.
I Always stop to get me the Glazed doughnuts 🍩, I usually grab 2 for my trip, and when I come back in the city I bring home some to share😇 The staff is nice and attentive !! Will definitely be going back again as long as they are there 😍
Staff have always been patient and professional. They operate really smoothly on a daily basis considering that they have to deal with penn station’s travel hangry customers.
I simply love their donuts. Specially the regular glazed one. The only complaint I have is why dont they open some more branches in Queens and Brooklyn. A lot of customers hates drive that far to LIC or City. I would love to request them to open a new branch near hillside or ozonepark. Please.
My experience at Krispy Kreme was great the donuts are so light and fluffy and melt in your mouth because they make the donuts fresh and the employees are decent and it is very convenient before you hop on the train
I first went here a few years ago during their Grand Opening, got a free dozen Original Glazed. These doughnuts never EVER disappoint. Krispy Kreme is SOOOOOOO GOOD...I mean, eating these things is like heaven...no, actually...eating these things is more like heaven on crack, ecstasy AND molly in just the right proportions so as not to OD. 😂 If youre ever in Penn Station theres no excuse to not stop by here.
Located in Penn station.everythkng was fresh. You gotta try their new oreo donut
Hello, I brought Krispy Kreme doughnuts from shoprite near where I live, we had 3 doughnuts were good but 4th one with 2nd bite, I had found a stick like something inside of doughnut Im going to post a pic of it, hope nothing serious will happen to me!!
Free donut for showing vaccine card! :)
Yes, this is a Krispy Kreme donuts shop, the only one in NYC. But its not like regular Krispy Kreme shots because they dont produce donuts on site hot and fresh. They ship them in from a few hours away in Pennsylvania. So if you want to taste Krispy Kreme, then this is where you need to go in NYC. But if you want hot and fresh KK donuts, then you need to take a trip to PA.
The best donuts in town
I first went here a few years ago during their Grand Opening, got a free dozen Original Glazed. These doughnuts never EVER disappoint. Moderately delicious 🤤
Fresh product. Professional friendly gracious staff. Order online for pick up...or stop when at Penn Station. These are the top people with Krispy Kreme. And they are constantly busy. Quick fast service regardless of line.In NYC Krispy Kreme is the BEST! Plus, its great to take a dozen+ home or to friends when traveling by train!
Ordered three donuts, paid for three, and was given two. The donuts are good, but the staff is rude and incompetent. I made a special trip from lower Manhattan as a surprise for my boyfriend who loves these and cant find them anywhere downtown. It cost me $5.50 in subway fare and about an hour of my time, only to come home and realize I was shorted one donut!
The best donuts you can ever have!! The original is my favorite!
Horrible location! Rude staff, always run out of stuff, and closed a lot!
Krispy Kreme is now open in NYC and there will be more locations in the city, too!! Expect a bit of a line because the donuts are THAT good!! Its worth the wait. Glazed are definitely my favorite along with lemon filled. But this little shop has quite a variety. Right now you can load up on Valentines donuts that are heart shaped. Did I mention that the coffee is delicious!?? There is also an app so you can order ahead OR get it delivered if you are local. Yum!! Do NOT MISS this donut gem!
By far, the best k-cup coffee I have ever tasted. Ironically, I never thought much of there in-store coffee. Their donuts are the best out there and now so is their k-cup coffee. Just love it.
Rude, awful, impatient, unhelpful employees . the attitude and hand gestures aren’t needed
There was a staff there maybe South American of descent with black hair. She was mocking my accent. It was not cool. As if I cant hear her. It was not nice to mock somebody because of their accent. Whats wrong with her. Be kind
They really observe social distancing and sanitizers all over the place. Everything is excellent specially the freshness of their products. The only thing that I’m not convince is the cost of the big Apple donut- very expensive for $10.99/ pc.
Me and my bf walked from 42nd to penn station for some glazed Krispy Kreme and the staffed that worked today’s closing shift were AMAZING and their manager Jelisa 💎. absolute Blessing 🤞🏾
I Luv KK donuts. Growing up bk Home, We wud alwys stop by esp. If the HOT sign was lit!!!😋 The Only one I kno about is in Penn Station/2nd Flr.(NYC)
These donuts are amazing they are warm and melt in your mouth if you buy them in store .
Went to NYC for vacation and my hotel was right nearby this hotel. This was the first Krispy Kreme I had gone to in the States. I was surprised on how good the donuts were and, even got to see the process of making a donut which I had never been able to see before. Overall, I’d say the food was good, especially the class glazed one, I got other flavors as well but this and the Oreo donuts were the ones that stood out to me the most.
Although all the donuts are yum Original glazed is the best. Love their occasional donuts too. Super cute ones every single time. How I wish they had more locations.
Seriously the best doughnuts!!!
Best donuts in the world! And the hot cocoa is excellent as well. Make sure to request the whipped cream and chocolate drizzle on top. This location is great - fast service and great selection of many diff types of their amazing donuts. Nice people taking the orders - the only critique would be that the staff by the checkout isn’t always the most friendly (don’t always say “hi” and “have a good day” etc). But that could be understood due to their commitment to fast service, which they are great at. Donuts could be a bit more expensive than other locations due to the shop being in Penn Station but it’s not bad, and it’s certainly worth it
I don’t understand why would people in taiwan 🇹🇼 line up for this, not so impressive and they are not vegan
Was a bit disappointed with my last visit - doughnuts were different - not bad, just different. Not sure if yall are trying something new
The variety of donuts they have here is simply astounding. There are so many to try, I never know which to choose. The staff here are very fast, as this location tends to get busy quickly. Only bad thing is that the donuts are shipped in from somewhere else, so they dont have the conveyor belts here and you have to heat up the donut yourself if you have a microwave. The donuts are still super delicious, though.
Friendly professional gracious efficient speedy..the staff totally fabulous on representing KK and the brand. Plus Penn Station is a tough rough environment...they embraced all the positives of customer service where people want, want, want and now. Extraordinary.
I always pick some of them up for my husband when commuting through the station. The staff is super efficient and fast, even for NY standards. I dont eat the donuts myself, but my husband is crazy about them. I do really enjoy their coffee- a definite treat that is a great reward for dealing with the station. Only critique is that by the evening, they do start to run out of some of the selections.
You can never ever go wrong with their glazed donuts
The line goes fast even when its long. Great coffee and obviously doughnuts.
Love the surprising flavors n Holiday specials. However, would love the Key Lime filled Donuts to make a permanent comeback..
Used to love Krispy Kreme and still love the product but beware: after re-opening they don’t want to honor the double dozen deals anymore. What a huge letdown and disappointment! I wish that won’t be the policy for all Manhattan stores in the future. You lost a big fan, Krispy Kreme!
Terrible customer service. First I said that I wanted 6 donuts and after my first 2 that I picked she threw them in a bag and then proceeded to help the next person, when I said to her I wanted more than 2 she yelled at me and said that I should speak up and hurry up. Upon checking out I ordered a coffee with milk only well she put so much sugar that it tasted like sugar flavored coffee.
Service is great. Staff are friendly. Donuts look exquisite but they are entirely too sweet. I indulge on occasion, but I prefer an Old Fashion Donut or Boston Creme from their competitors.
When you first walk into Krispy Kreme you are overtaken by the smell of fresh dough being baked, leaving that slightly sugary tone in the air. Then, when you finally get your delicious morsel of baked goodness your mouth explodes with the light fluffy texture of the dough, thus doubling the sweetness of the sugar. Its an experience that you can only get by being there. Go. Experience the creamiest krisp youve ever had.
The best chain for donuts. I feel like the original glazed is still the best, but you can chose from a wide range of flavors. The staff was friendly and efficient. If you have trouble to locate the place, its two level down in the station/MSG.
Service was awesome, locations pretty tricky as it is located 2 floors underground. Its easy to locate it if you descend via Madison Square Garden entrance by Penn Tower 2. Make a 180 degree turn on the 2 descends and you will see the shining beacon of American doughnuts! Best find in NYC, and the one and only!
Friendly staff, I’m an RN they gave me 2 dozen donuts! Brought it at work, my staff were so happy. Thank you Krispy Kreme! 😘
The donuts at Krispy Kreme are out of this world, especially the plain glazed ones. I always try to pick them up when the light is on showing the Donuts are fresh. Unfortunately the only place to get these amazing donuts is in one of the saddest places in NYC - Penn Station. I just wish there was another place in the big wide city that had these amazing donuts
I was on a college class trip to NYC when I went for my 1st crispy creme donut. I was thirsty and grabbed a water and got back in line. The cashier asked You going to pay for that? As if I were a thief. I then waited in line to buy my 1st donut and the guy at the counter was told by the lady not to give it to me. She took it and made me hand over the water to pay for everything. Due to the setup where 1 person gets the donut I thought it was how they did things. Turns out my friends who werent black was handed their things before her register. She was prejudice.Best of luck if youre a black customer.
One of my favorite donut shops and I love their donuts it is my favorite place to get a donut.
This KRISPY KREME location is newly renovated. The new look includes a a professional security guard. Theres vagrants, often harassing the customers or staff. Theres been a significant improvement having the guards there. Their assortment of doughnuts are pleasant to the eyes and wonderful to the nose as you approach the order counter. Assured fresh doughnuts, they are delivered a few times a day. You can find a line depending on the time. Theyre open 7 days a week, 8am-8pm. Please remember to practice SOCIAL DISTANCING & WEAR A MASK or FACE COVERING. HIGHLY RECOMMENDED.
We tried the two limited edition donuts with Ghirardelli chocolate. The Caramel one has an extreme amount of filling, which is great, but for me it was overly sweet. The Mint one was way better, very delicious, not that sweet, light filling. I adore the lot of mini choc chips in the top of the donuts! Also, the staff is very kind and polite. Each donut was 1.99 which is a great deal for me. Would go back for the Mint one! :)
Absolutely wonderful 🥰😋😁💖 soany different flavors to choose from... Boston creme! 🍋 filled, Birthday🎂 cake, 🍓 icing, cinnamon bun, blueberry, raspberry, chocolate🍫filled, vanilla filled, plain... The list goes on, but its the bread of the doughnut at Krispy Kreme that makes them the best.🍩🥰💖
Great place for some classic donuts. This place for not have dine in, just take out. The classic glazed donuts are probably the best optiona, others really dis not match up. Seem to be priced higher than most places, maybe because of location. Staff is good, not really friendly, probably due to the nature of their fast paced business. Not that many Krispy Kremes left now, so make the most of this location while they last. Would recommend this place. Three stars as the service could have been better and the other specialty donuts could have been better as well.
Amazing holiday new Donuts taste
Without a doubt, best donuts hands down. Friendly staff! Cant wait for 42st location to open. 24 hours will be awesome.
Although all the donuts are yum Original glazed is the best. Love their occasional donuts too.
Maybe its the the prices, or the fact that I no longer live near enough one to get the donuts freshly baked, or because the fillings have diminished in size, but this place no longer holds the draw for me it used to. The prettier the donuts here, the more disappointed you will be. Stick with the basic ones, especially the raspberry-filled glazed, and make sure theyre warm, and you wont mind the hit your pocketbook will take as much.
Absolutely love this place ! Donuts taste great especially when they are fresh ! The employees are very friendly and they definitely do not keep you waiting. Highly recommend ! It is in the station if anyone ever gets lost like I did my first time.
Visited near twelve, it was not full. staff treated us so nice.
Very good, very sweet and sugary donuts. I wish they had more variety of flavors. I heard southern U.S. states have much more variety. Themed donuts for holidays are fun and tasty.
The donuts are good and fresh the girls are nice and pleasant would recommend and go back any time.
This is hands down one of the best donut experiences I have ever had. Not really speaking of the only one left in New York City now which is located on the lower level of Penn Station. They are still great and I visit then regularly, but it is almost impossible to get what made this donut chain famous. I remember not so long ago when there were quite a few sprinkled (no pun intended) around Manhattan, and when you saw that red lighted neon sign you knew that there were those delectable melt in your mouth hot fresh out of the oven original glazed donuts just ready and I tell you they are every bit of glazed oh so light and airy sugary melty doughy heaven on earth. So if you should happen to visit this Krispy Kreme shop, take a chance and ask them if there are any fresh out of the oven! If not, go ahead and get a dozen or two anyway because they are still the best donuts around and the coffee is pretty good too!
The glazed donuts--their most famous donut--are great if you get them fresh. I mean, they just are. Tender, juicy, delicious and oh-so-bad-for-you-but-who-cares? This isnt just hype or good marketing. They have a lock on this donut. The rest of the menu, though? Nope. Their other donut varieties are just OK. No need to go here to get them.If you want the glazed, this is the place. Otherwise, find a better donut shop nearby.Oh, and the price is kind of silly high at this location, but hey, its NYC.
GreT place as always wish there were more around
The light comes on twice in the early morning and once in the afternoon. For the first 20 years of my life, my view of KK was shaped by displays at 7-eleven. Unappetizing to say the last. One late night that turned into 5 AM, I was drawn in by the neon light. The tender perfection of these donuts will make holding your newborn for the first time a 7/10 experience. At best.
Worth the trip. Wish they were closer but I guess it better for my waist.
I specifically visited to buy a few of the limited edition Lemon Glazed donuts... It was worth the trip, very tasty! And thank you to the staff, they were kind and helpful.
