This place was a gem. It had some of the best pastries in the area. Its a shame that it has closed. I hope that they are inspired to open once again in the future.
Loved the atmosphere! Wonderful staff. If you’re in the area, I definitely recommend stopping in for an espresso. If you’re around long enough, you’ll learn there are secret menu items that only regulars know about!
Open with COVID precautions and outdoor seating! Feel at home at this vintage cafe... great espresso based drinks, baked goods and other menu items.
This place is great! The food is super fresh. I was here a few weeks ago pregnant with my toddler, the owner was very accommodating and sweet. Came back today with my husband, who has ten thousand allergies, and again they were accommodating with great service and great food. I hope this place stays open forever.
Me and my friend had a great experience in Cafe Noi. We loved our pancake topped with beautiful berries, it was absolutely tasty! We also enjoyed our coffee! Will definitely come back. Thank you.
I really really like this place.I went there the first time with my girlfriend and it seemed pretty small on the inside at first but after sitting in there it felt comfy. The food itself gets a great 5 Stars from me. I really enjoyed their pancakes with berries, and I loved their French toast. My girlfriend has the waffles and I loved the taste of them as well.So far we’ve gone back twice because it’s our new breakfast spot before work.I’m definitely going to be returning again, i really wish the price was slightly cheaper but at this point it doesn’t affect my judgement.
I just got black coffee, but it was good and inexpensive, especially for a place in Manhattan. The vibe of the place was wonderful, exactly what I wanted to read my book for awhile. The employees were absolutely amazing; my coffee spilled as I tried moving my table for another couple of people, and the employees cleaned up the spill without complaint and gave me another coffee for free. I highly recommend this place if youre in the area, and will be going back myself.
The food was GREAT and and the employees were very nice.
Great coffee, some of best in neighborhood. Homemade pastries. Oatmeal very good, lots of fruit with it.
This place is the hidden gem of the upper east side! If you like to eat healthy delicious food with an assortment of pastries and amazing coffee this your place. They are consistent in fresh and tasty food. I also go crazy over their home brew coffee.
Delicious! Happened upon this place for breakfast and we were very impressed. Dont let the sign outside fool you, great little place with plenty of seating inside. If you want an authentic Israeli (Mediterranean) breakfast this is the place! We had the smoked salmon sandwich and the eggplant sabich.

The customer service is poor here. I was treated quite rudely after asking a simple question about what food items they had available. Additionally, there is no menu clearly displayed so there is no price transparency. A single shot of espresso with cream and simple syrup is more expensive compared to Starbucks. Overall, I would not recommend this place based on my negative customer experience.
Beautiful, modern and comfy place. I loved their pancake and coffee, very delicious; food plating is also exceptional. Thank you Cafe Noi.
My favorite cafe with inexpensive good coffee on the UES. From what I understand, its family owned. More reason to love it.
Casual gem on the upper east side. Great coffee and comfort food. We had breakfast (avo toast breakfast special which comes with coffee and juice, and pancakes with fresh fruit and eggs) but the soup also looked amazing. Huge portions.5 star
So cute love the ambiance! Great good with fresh ingredients.
Really good breakfast for with Israeli influence. Fair prices and very fast. Service was very good and prompt. Even with a regular coffee they would add the cream and sugar for you if you wished.
Great food, delicious coffee. Good people. It’s small but nice to work there for a little while.
This is my favorite coffee shop in NYC. The coffee as well as the chocolate croissants are among the best I have had. The vibe is perfectly chill- bring a book, magazines and/or work and camp out from breakfast through lunch. Also- early opening is a bonus!!
I patronize this place every time I’m in the UES. I’m not a vegetarian but their homemade veggie burger is absolutely amazing, as is their hummus, bread, coffee, and pastries. I especially appreciate the kitchen perfecting a few modifications I always have with my order. The service of the owners and workers is top notch.
The prices are what you expect for the neighborhood. Paid $4.08 for some coffee. The store itself is cozy, looks good, and you feel comfortable sitting down inside.
Ate breakfast here multiple times. Fluffy and delicious pancakes!Staff is very friendly and the place has a relaxed and low-key atmosphere. Great place to start the day before heading into the busy city!
Chill coffee shop, friendly staff and a good pretty darn good cup of coffee. Im giving five stars because one of the guys gave me a chocolate chip cookie that came straight out of the oven. This balances out the fact of not having real maple syrup for my waffles. Im from Vermont so this is a big deal for me but fresh chocolate chip cookies...!!
Very nice place! Pastries are home stile made and beverages include the warmth of Mediterranean hospitality.
Some of the best espresso Ive ever had. Also great pastries and some soups. Nice urban coffee chic.
Cafe Noi is awesome. They definitely have the best coffee on the Upper East Side. The owner is great and all of the staff are so friendly.
I was so lucky to stumble upon this place. I have truly loved getting to know the owner, the staff, and the regular customers over my summer stay. Cafe Noi fosters a family environment and one I am sad to leave behind in New York. They have an amazing selection of breakfast and lunch foods, all kinds of drinks, and yummy baked goods. Whether you have a moment to spare for a coffee break, or a whole day to sit and work, Cafe Noi is the perfect spot for great food and even better company. Who knows, you may even get a nickname or two like I was given! As you you taught me how to say it, Toda! With Love,Wisconsin/Boston

Love this café! Its a great place to kick up your feet, relax, and drink a good cup of coffee. The staff is super welcoming and friendly - a great environment. Definitely one of my favorite spots in NYC!
Nice friendly place for late breakfast (or early), as well as iced/hot espresso drinks. Slightly above my budget but not too expensive.
Good coffee and nice vibe! Relaxing place to spend a little time.
Great little spot with great food. Good prices and I will definitely be going back. A+++
I had the French Toast with berries and Nutella. It was perfectly sweet and not overloading. Highly recommend.
Nice friendly place for breakfast, as well as iced/hot espresso drinks.not too expensive.
The best coffee and breakfast in NYC!lovely service, food and vibes!highly recommended!thank you guys!
I like how lively the place is because its on 2nd avenue, people watching! But very spotty wifi. Dont recommend coming here if you plan to do some important related work. Keep saving your work if you DO come!!
Good cappuccino, boreka platter was nice, would probably reccomend shakshuka insteadCozy place. Extremely polite staff. Very customer oriented and friendly
The best coffee and breakfast in UPPER EAST SIDELovely service, food and vibes!highly recommended!
The best coffee and breakfast in NYC!lovely service, food and vibes!highly recommended!
Maybe a new waiter, but slow service, got some things wrong. My friend’s waffle was just not good. My oatmeal had no sugar option, was tasteless and watery. Fruit was just throw on top carelessly. It’s place, but food is definitely far from 4+ stars, not coming back.
The BEST hot chai ever. Sandwiches are perfect, you wont be disappointed. Now that I have moved to LA I appreciate this place even more.
My favorite place on the upper east side. They have a great blend for drip and espresso drinks, not to mention the best chai I ever tasted.Try the fresh soups and pastries :)
Lovely neighborhood cafe. My sandwich and cappuccino were very good!
Great fast service, barista was very friendly. They have a winter menu with white hot chocolate and Nutella hot chocolate which they had no problem making for us, and they were both amazing. Would definitely visit again to try the coffee the next time Im in the area. The black and white cookie and strawberry donut were fresh and very good as well.
This is a cute cafe on the UES with good coffee drinks and brunch/lunch items. There’s a nice cozy feel to the cafe, which makes it a great place to catch up with friends, but the drinks and food are just okay and standard. Nothing here really stands out.
One of the best coffees in the city...and every food on the menu is good!great place to start your day
Great little nook for those who like to grab a no frill coffee/hot chocolate with locals in a cozy coffee shop.
Food is amazing and great customer serviceTy
Love their coffee and their special menu items like Tostini and omelet sandwich!
Cozy atmosphere. Great service. Kid-friendly.
Cute little cafe with a very friendly barista (I got the feeling he might have been the owner). I got an iced coffee and it was kind of bitter-- definitely seems like recycled coffee. But this is a rare place that doesnt fill the cup three-quarters full with ice, so I appreciated it in that Annie-Hall-the-food-is-terrible-and-such-small-portions way. Theres wifi and a surprising number of tables without being too cramped. There is even a little back nook with just two tables that is a little quieter and good for studying or reading. It also seemed like a lot of the customers were regulars.
Some of the best coffee Ive ever had and amazing sandwich
Really nice food and good service
Very good Israeli and middle eastern cuisine, good service, reasonably priced, can get crowded quickly.
Great place with delicious coffee and super friendly staff!
This place is the best restaurant in upper East. They made delicious food and they so friendly!
I would have given it a 4 to 5 stars if it wasnt for the mean attitude the tender displayed this morning.Besides that I love the croissants I buy every morning.
Best place in the neighbourhood for a good coffe and casual bites
As a Neapolitan turist in NYC I couldnt hope to find a good espresso coffee to start my day. Friendly staff and good food too.
Awesome, friendly staff. Great coffee, w/ equally awesome food.
The shakshuca here is amazing and they have great service.Cafe noi is amazing. Its a great place for brunch or breakfast. It is the best breakfast place in NYC
Decent coffee and good pastries. Really quirky French speaking owner. Cramped space on weekends.
Just might be the best latte Ive ever had. Friendly staff, lots of regulars recognized on sight -- all the hallmarks of a great coffeeshop.
Best panini sandwich in nyc, the Tostini, amazing cappuccino as well. Such a nice atmosphere. Highly recommend!
Good little Israeli spot. Jahnun and mlawah on Saturdays. Quality coffee and pastries. Great atmosphere. Great for work.
Great coffee and desserts. Staff was very attentive
I really really like this place.
Great place with delicious coffee and super friendly staff!
Some of the best espresso Ive ever had
Delicious breakfast omelet, would love to see unique baked desserts
The Breakfast with avocado(called vegan)is very delicious and healthy
Wonderful food and a great neighborhood and friendly place.
Nice neighborhood place with good sandwiches, coffee/tea and smoothies.
Friendly. Homey food. Comfortable.
I LOVe it!
The spinach and mushroom quiche was BOMB !! Really cute spot.
Atmosphere is great . Food looks amazing
ALON is amazing great customer service highly recommend
This is for all Italians (read people from Italy) who might be tricked by the Italian name. There is no such thing as an espresso here.
Great service! Amazing food thank you caffe noi!
Everything is good - coffee, owner and staff, burekas, brunch plates, everything :)
Excellent oatmeal. Long wait. Service sucked
Best place for coffee and food!! my go to spot anytime!
