We were just walking by this place and thought to give it a try. The food is really good. They have both indoor and outdoor seating. I would recommend outdoor. They have a QR code to order food, so minimum exposure to the staff. We ordered cappuccino and an athletes burrito which was really good. And side wedges were crisp and yum too. Will definitely return!
The ordering system here is somewhat obnoxious. You’re forced to order through phone and/or use their loyalty system. I had issues even getting an order after trying several ways. This isn’t the first time. Pick a local authentic spot that has the courtesy to accept cash (for the under banked) or not gratuitously require your personal information.
Help was attentive. Food took sometime to come out (maybe because of kitchen). Once served food was good.
Once upon a time this place was pretty good and they cared. Now it’s a chain with branches all over the city/country and they do not. Toasted bread in their signature avo toast dish is hard and cold. Coffee served to go even after asking for it for here. Servers are nice and work hard, but there’s no management or organization. Everything takes forever. But it’s the West Village so it’s crowded despite all this. Just close, please, and allow a restaurant that cares to open here.
First of all, there is no service. You order on yourphone and pay before you even see your food. Sounds great right? Not if your order takes an hour and you cant get up to go somewhere else. The coffees alone took over half an hour to be delivered, after 2 attempts to give us someone elses order. The food is great, but it is overpriced and your stomach will eat itself before anything edible is delivered to your table.
Small cosy place, outside seating, front seating and back seating available. Staff was cool and friendly.Toilet was nice and clean.4 stars as the food was not really too my liking and the prices were a little tad high, but I guess thats downtown new york for you.Did not really enjoy the food taste in itself, but the experience was good. A true new york cafe!
I went there alone on a Saturday for lunch. Got seated immediately but parties with 2 or more had to wait approx. 20 minutes to even get seated. The service was good, staff was nice and friendly. My avocado toast was great and the juice I had as well. I waited 15 minutes for the food but the average waiting time on that day was 27 minutes (according to the staff). Its a nice atmosphere and a great place to hang out. But if you really want to enjoy it you should come on a weekday! Otherwise youll just wait your time waiting.
Great little location. We walked in thinking we wouldn’t get a table but they have more space in the back. We were seated next to a cute window and ordered lattes. It was a little weird that they were served in these glasses, but it tasted great. The food(avocado smash and red egg bake) was amazing. The service: employees were polite and helpful with selecting off the menu. I would recommend stopping in if you’re in the area and lookin for some brunch.
A not-so-fresh croissant. Disappointing.
I greatly love the taste of the coffee that was served for me. It tastes better and good. Also, the food was tasty, and the staff was very friendly. The ambiance was very cozy and comfortable. It was truly nice to meet you in my morning. I would recommend it and will visit again. Thank you so much. See you soon!
Highly recommended!!! The guys at Bluestone Lane are the sweetest on earth and the food and drinks are amazing! Cant say often enough how much i adore this place. 100% my favorite in West Village!
The morning I went, the weather was perfect and I was able to be seated right away - not always the case at this popular brunch spot. The service was friendly, polite and quick. She took my order and punched it into her tablet (this place is credit card only btw) and I was served practically immediately! I was left alone after that, other than the occasional check in, and replacing my bottle of water. I ordered the avocado toast with egg and a Matcha latte, same as my recent visit to Butchers Daughter, and the price was the same too. Here the food was much prettier - chunks of avocado, sprouts and cherry tomatoes, latte in a glass not a mug - but there it was more nutritious (I really hate comparing, both were amazing and healthy and delightful, and Im splitting hairs, but keeping it honest). Overall this was a great meal, good times and it definitely checks all the boxes. Its even worth waiting for on busier days
I met a friend here for breakfast. Food was delicious and the location is close to the 14th St 2/3 station which made it easy to meet up as my friend was coming from NJ using the Path. The entire staff was very friendly.
The location of the bar was perfect. We can easily go to this place whenever we want. The theme of this place was very professional. We spent a good time here with my colleagues. Great!
Great little place. Food was superb and presentation was perfect. Best cappuccino I’ve had in a while. Keir was super friendly and attentive. Will definitely come back.
Food was amazing service was super slow
Great coffee, really sweet and considerate staff
I got the chicken sandwich which was good and worth the try if ever at Bluestone—it exceeded my expectations. However, the 2 stars is for the extremely long wait for our food.I waited 1 hour to get this sandwich & my friend 1.5 hours for her food with a near empty establishment... I was told by the waiter they were short staffed which I totally get but not only that, we were not given utensils or at least checked up on to make up for the long wait. As you can see by the picture, my aperol spritz was melted by the time my food arrived.Overall, doubt I’ll return to this location.
The one thing that really struck me about this place is that the food is really beautifully prepared and fresh. Ordered the Brekkie board which is half avocado smash (added a poached egg), half yogurt and granola and loved it. Only complaint was that the toast was difficult to eat as it was tough to cut so I had to pick it up to eat it but the topping kept falling. Still yummy. Also had a hot chocolate but to me this was very bland so Id pass on it next time. The atmosphere is great but its very cramped and getting into and out of your seat may be difficult. At peak hours (I went at 12 on a Saturday), it can get noisy in there so its not the most quiet, calm brunch experience. It can seem crowded when you enter but usually theres little to no wait bc there are more tables in the back. Kinda pricy but I would go there again when I feel like treating myself.
They really know how to make good eggs, and good breakfast foods in general. The coffee was top quality.
Easy place to go for split bill and consistently good food. Easy meals with good quality produce.
Pleasant atmosphere and well thought recepies! I enjoyed beetroot latte - unusual and tasty!
My original review is below but after being there a few more times after .y first encounter I must say, I was wrong. This place is amazing and have great people working there. It mustve been a bad vibe day in the universe my first time there. Since the. I had over 10 postmates and one eats deliveries to do from there and those experiences was amazing.Wasnt engaged with me. I was picking up a postmates order. Honestly feel it was my skin color (black). Cause the 2 white men who entered the store after me was greet with way more enthusiasm and excitement. Where as my greeting felt more like a ok u mustve walked in the wrong store what do u want
I came here because I was dying for Aussie Latte coffee, it wasnt as good as I expected. The photos I uploaded will give Aussie coffee lover and idea. The forth was not perfect and coffee was so-so. But if you are an Aussie and dying for Aussie coffee, this place at least give you something a bit better than the norm. Also, their juices are $9+ each which is ridiculous.
The breakfast/brunch here gives me the will to survive in the morning. Love you guys.
Charming and comfortable. There’s a great amount of tables indoors and outdoors and it’s not too busy nor crowded. The servers are genuinely nice and attentive. Turnover is quick. Everything is delicious. I adore The Aussie Latte!
Good coffee but tourists
Very happy servers but super inattentive. Forgot the side we ordered and werent even around for us to ask about it until we were just about done with the meal. We were basically given the food and left alone in a side room. On the food side, baked eggs were completely overcooked and woefully unseasoned. Banana bread was great and we wished there was more. Overall, a very cute place but lacking heavily in service and quality of food
Cozy neighborhood all day quick bites place. Delicious smoothies. A large selection of Gluten Free deserts. Also, SUPER pleasant staff. I mean they just take care! ❤
Wow, what happened? Seriously. I leave NYC for a number of weeks on work, I come back and no one to speak of from before - two to four REALLY great employees in particular - are any longer there. The new staff are deadbeats as compared to their predecessors. See ya!
Eh. Service was mediocre. Food was fine. Coffee was good. But everything was soooo expensive. And the shop is very small. Do not come here if youre wanting to do work. I recommend this place for eating and coffee only.
This was a pleasant discovery...everyone was squeezed in a little too close for my comfort, but there were 5 of us so, that has to be considered. Food was great.
This shop not only has outstanding coffee (which I buy regularly to make at home), but also a friendly, welcoming vibe. My first time there I took a table and ordered only coffee, and the waitress could not have been nicer or more helpful. The manager is also very friendly and welcoming, and really cares about his customers. I cant think of a better place to stop for coffee and a bite to eat.
They Latte is one of the best due to their infused beans and science behind how they extract coffee. A must place to try it in NYC or anywhere where they have one. Bit pricey but worth every penny
We just love the Australian coffee here! The ice latte with vanilla ice cream is the best! it is the real Australian ice latte, very refreshing super delicious! you can go for the ice cream on top first but then you will notice that the coffee is kind of bitter, so do it the correct way and mix all together! the place has a internal garden which is very cute, and all the blue and white decoration transported us to the sea coast. Also, the waitress is super nice
Great food, as always but the waiters are VERY pushy, they will come to your table asking over and over again, about every 5 to 10 minutes, whether you want another coffee or something else to eat! My juice was still on the table, just finishing my meal and they came twice in 5 minutes to ask for my next order, they need to chill! They would even cut you off while chatting to ask if you want something else even though you still have food on the table and your drink is still full! Same with coffee, a lady next to me had to tell them that one can have only so many coffees!
High quality ingredients, delicious Australian coffee, and corner outdoor/indoor seating on an absolutely gorgeous West Village street. We enjoyed Avocado Smash, Balthazar toast, and Granola with our flat whites. The toast was impressively thick, jams fresh, and avocado delicious. The place was busy on a Tuesday at 10am and seemed half populated by Australians - customers and servers, both. Service was a tad slow for what we ordered. Dont come here in a rush and youll have a delicious meal and great experience at Bluestone Lane Collective.
Good, healthy meals to help you get your day started. Loved their breakfast/brunch menu. Their banana bread is especially to die for. Its toasted and served with fresh blueberries. The skillet of green eggs is also pretty tasty. Try out any of their delicious juices, too.
This place is so cute! The coffee is to die for and food is amazing! Also the staff is so nice!👍
