I didn’t realize this place is on the infamous Greene Street where Dior, Rolex and other high end brands are. I bought my hiking gear from here. Pants and and base layer top. Ran me about 200 bucks. 🥴it was definitely worth it because it made my Hiking experience the best. It’s true what they say, you really do get what you pay for. I’ll be going back to blow my money away in the near future.

Went to the store yesterday wanted a Patagonia basic white T-shirt for so long and was really excited finally to be at Patagonia store. As soon as we walked in the sales person was ridiculously rude and had an attitude for no reason. Sales man wouldn’t want us to touch the merchandise and made a comment about how all the sizes are written on top we shouldn’t open to see. Sizes can differ from brand to brand, which obviously did here too. How does he want us to see if things will fit or not without opening it? He was more worried about making his shelves look good than being helpful to customers. And my mask was little big on my face so it was sliding off which I didn’t notice, he told me “I NEED YOU TO PUT YOUR MASK UP AVOBE YOUR NOSE” as if he was commanding me, instead of you just politely ask me. It can happen to anyone. It’s not all the things he said, it’s HOW he said it to us and approached us.Horrible experience!!! I immediately knew I don’t want to do my Bussiness here and walked out without buying what I needed just because of the unprofessional attitude of the sales man.

So impressed with the staff at the store, in particular Chris who helped me today! After having my jacket for about 3 years, the zipper broke. When I went into the Soho store, Chris took one look at my jacket and immediately identified the model. After seeing the broken zipper, he exchanged my whole jacket for a new one, so that I didnt have to go without my coat while waiting for a repair (which is very very much appreciated, given that its February!). Phenomenal customer service - thank you so much!

Good clean store with lots of choices for jackets and accessories. It was a little busy but had enough room to accommodate everyone. Plenty of staff to help. The merch is a bit expensive but not nearly expensive as some of its competitors.

Rude male staff sitting at the entrance this afternoon. It was super empty in the shopping area. But it was so crowded at the entrance because people were forced to give names and numbers to join waitlist, since they are “at capacity”. The staff told people that the wait would be about 30min and we have to show up within 10 min of notification. We walked away to other shops and it was like a joke when we received notification within like 3 min. Didn’t go back due to the unpleasant experience and unorganized staff.

I don’t recommend to go that store they have good items, but racial selection and very bad customer service, I always bought the articles of this company in paragon sport, the last time I went to paragon they were closing the store and I tried to go directly to patagonia because I understood that it was an environmental protection company and its products are made of recycled materials that for My is a good concept, but when I have visited their stores I see that they treat customers for their racial profile, first I went to the store on the upper east side and I found a very unpleasant situation, because when I went to change an item of $ 350 dollars They tell me that I have to wait an hour and a half and I told them that I did not have much time for that and I explained that Im going to Soho and that I could buy it there, I was waiting for the money a customer arrived with Another racial profile and they effectively left it in without questions, so I decided to go to Soho and the story was similar, this company cannot be doing environmental promotions If your staff treats customers for their racial profiling, those two things dont go hand in hand

I went here yesterday and did not enjoy my experience! I had to give a first and last name at the door, along with my phone number, and then they had to call a worked to “watch us” the entire time. The staff said, “I’ll just be lurking on the side if you need anything”. And then proceeded to follow us around the store.Do not recommend!

This is such a great location. 3 floors of clothes, gear, and other accessories. I came for a gift around the holidays and was in and out in no time. The staff was super helpful, I just gave the name of the item I needed to the first employee I saw and they guided me directly to it (even helping me pick the right size and best color!)The cashier also quickly explained there awesome/simple return policy. Put me at ease that my gift could be easily returned if necessary (it wasn’t, the recipient loved their fleece!) Will definitely be coming back to shop for myself next time.

Ethical consumerism at its finest. At this multi-level location, the options were plentiful. Employees were not overwhelmed despite a full store on a Friday afternoon. Spent way more than I expected to. No regrets. The products are an organic balance of simple, cozy, and appealing outerwear. Combine that with a company that is A1 in social responsibility equals a brand that is easy to love. Patagonia for the win.

Excellent experience in this store. There are a bunch of staff ready to help you but they also let you walk around and look around without asking you if you need anything every 2 minutes. Patagonia is a great brand with good social responsibility and their products are of the best quality. Prices are fine sometimes seeming high but the products are top notch. In this store you can find anything you need for your outdoor activities, from clothing to equipment and shoes. Will definitely come back to buy more stuff for every season

This Patagonia is in a very convenient location near SoHo and offers a good selection of Patagonia products. There are two floors, where the 1st floor is the mens clothing and the 2nd floor is the womens section. When we went there in the late afternoon, the store wasnt too crowded. I had to return a few items and the return process was fast and simple.

Patagonia is a great company and I support their conservation work and sustainable practices. However, if you actually want to wear any Patagonia clothing, be prepared to shell out serious cash. While the store is fun to peruse, know that youre going to pay top dollar for any gear. I still enjoyed visiting the store and the staff were friendly, even if the coats were well beyond my price range!

One of the best stores with one of the highest quality clothes! The staff was very helpful with my warranty exchange! Everything went smooth and i was incredibly surprised of how good a service experience can be! They have large selection if items and all the employees got knowledge about them!

The best location in NYC

Went in to look for some pants and everyone was extremely helpful. I wish I asked for the name of the woman who helped me but she helped me track down the pants I needed. They had them at a store in Seattle, and the guy there shipped them to me right away so they could get to me in time for my snowboarding trip. The staff here always ask if customers need help without being overbearing or pressuring you into making a purchase.

The store was overall pretty nice and I was greeted as soon as I came in. You could say that the staff wasnt overbearing, but thats because they didnt check in on me at all after the initial greeting. Tried on a few shorts, got a little mixed up at the register and mistakenly purchased the wrong pair. Not a big deal, though! I certainly didnt double check until I got home, so thats also my mistake.I went in the next day to exchange them for the pair Id initially wanted and the person helping me at the register was a bit passive aggressive when I told them that I was rung up for the wrong item and needed to exchange it. They checked the item and my receipt and said I was rung up for the correct item. While it is factually accurate that the associate helping me previously rung me up for the SKU associated with the shorts that I had paid for, the mistake was in that those werent the shorts that I had said I wanted. Okay, so let me try this again—I want to do an exchange because I got an item I did not want by mistake. Rather shortly, they say, Thats a completely different thing. Okay please just do an exchange, I dont need your sass, I just want to do a simple exchange. Thanks. I realize that had your associate handed me a different item than what they had scanned, that would be an issue with inventory and the transaction to get the correct item would have been different. But I dont think it takes much to understand that I just need to do an exchange.Other than that, the store was well-merchandised and easy to navigate. Fitting rooms were impeccable as well.

Dedicated to giving earth a chance at surviving by making clothes eco-friendly and some reused materials to give new life to outdoor clothes. The staff was really helpful on my visit and the location is optimal for public transportation-using city-dwellers.

Very kind and helpful staff. Patagonia sells the best quality outdoor gear and are committed to people and the planet. If you do purchase anything you plan on putting through the washing machine, please also invest in a guppyfriend wash bag. I was glad to see them in stock at this location. The wash bag will prevent microfibers from synthetic clothing from entering waterways.

Everybody here was so helpful without being pushy. They had lots of bags in stock, and one of the associates let me put a bunch of my own things in the bag to test it out. Glad I did, since I ended up getting a different pack than I had originally planned!

If only I had my brother-in-laws money. The selection of products was phenomenal. Even more of a treat was the staff--knowledge of products they sell and top-notch customer service--was definitely a notch above most retail places Ive visited with competing products.

Amazing brand with high quality and Eco friendly products. They not only make quality items, but really stand behind their products. I had two jackets that had small issues, and they took it in for free repair without any questions, and even offered to ship it to my door. The store is new and the staff is very friendly and knowledgeable. Highly recommend this brand, and this store.

Some of the friendliest, most knowledgeable employees Ive ever met work here. I had a question about shirt fits and was given a detailed explanation about how each type was cut. The repair counter upstairs will fix up any of your damaged Patagonia gear so its better than new. Great events and screenings are held here all the time too!

Obviously Patagonia makes very high quality attractive products, on top of which they are environmentally responsible to the core. But they also stand by those products, both generally and at this store in particular. I had a rain shell, just a few years old, whose lining had started to fall apart prematurely. The staff person at the store was not only willing to replace it for free with a new shell, but was exceedingly friendly and knowledgeable in how she handled the situation. I will always be loyal to this company, and to shopping at this store.

Kia is the epitome of customer service. I was looking for a specific coat that I saw online. He helped me find it and and was so patient as I tried on 2 different sizes. Loved the coat, and was glad I went to the store instead of buying online. Great brand and great service.

The sales staff are very knowledgeable and extremely helpful and I will be a lifelong customer of Patagonia. Im giving it three stars because none of the stores carry the full line of clothing. Ive had several experiences where I want to buy a jacket/try on a piece of clothing and its online only or none of the stores carry the item. I dont want the hassle of returning mail order items because they dont fit.

Patagonia is an incredible brand. My wife and I went to this location, because she wanted to buy a similar rain jacket to the one that I have. The the staff was incredibly helpful with finding the right jacket. When we were checking out they noticed noticed that my six year old rain shell had a few tears in the liner and they replaced it completely free of charge!!! They even said that they are going to recycle or donate my old one. I’ve always like Patagonia’s products, but this definitely made me a customer for life. ✌️

People here are very friendly and always ready to help. One thing Id say is that sometimes they dont have every jacket at the store. I was a bit confused as you are the store you should have everyone style if you are the flagship. That kind of bothered me but they did say they would order the jacket for me free of charge for me to try on but I would have to come back another day. I was visiting New York and noticed that there is a Patagonia store. I like their outdoor clothings which are on the pricy side but are well designed and made. The store itself was a disappointment. It was the end of August and they had removed hiking shorts from the shelves. Then I looked at rain jackets only to find two colors available. Their website shows several colors for the product I was interested in. My conclusion is that if you know what you want you are better off buying on their website.

It’s hard to rate this. If you want patagonia stuff in person, it’s second to none. Not usually my jam because I’d prefer to wait for stuff to go on sale online. It seems sort of ridiculous that there are only a few Patagonia stores in nyc and two of them are like ten minutes’ walk apart, but I guess that tells you a lot about their demographic. The staff was fine when I came in for a return, but it took a really long time for two items, and I hope the guy was new. It’s clean and well kept, so no reason not to give it plenty of stars.
