Staff need better customer service training especially being a high end store. As we walked through the store, most of them stood around, texting on their phone, would not even greet us or would stare like they saw a ghost, very pretentious energy, especially the man with curly hair on the 2nd floor who wore too much cologne. Extremely disappointed as I flew to New York just to see dover street.
Had spot 100 for supreme drop and everything was sold out by first come first serve, what’s the point of a reservation if it’s not gonna be applied. Workers also gave me nothing but attitude, never knew a simple question of “do you work here” was triggering. Very disappointed
Ive just found it difficult to shop here over the years - going from floor to floor, via stairs or the shops single elevator, not knowing whats where, purchasing items separately on each floor - wish it were a more cohesive experience.Ive thought that the shops sales associates could help improve this experience, but Ive never met the same sales associate twice. No matter how you look at it, that high turnover negatively affects the customer experience. Just doesnt make much sense since Im sure it affects the companys profits as well. 🤷

Walking inside, those who arent aware of what the store has to offer and are love affordably will welcomed by a unique store with interesting clothing installation and setup. However, when climbing further to each of the seven floors, the experience quickly becomes other-worldly to the casual shopper. In passing, you may question the connections staff possess to even be given a position of employment. In that same thought, you may even question how much they paid to work here. With each advancing floor, you may quickly reconsider even looking at the socks. Oh, and be honest with yourself--if you have to ask for the price, you cant afford it.In all seriousness, Dover Street is a high-end clothing store offering only the most premium products of premium brands. The first two floors may only be within the everyday shoppers budget, but every guest with even the slightest interest should browse everything. As others have mentioned, security and staff workers who are all tasked with being attentive to their surroundings are present. But with a business selling brands like Gucci that have t-shirts at $5,000, this shouldnt remotely be surprising. During my recent experience here, my group of four all carried in backpacks. Employees were more attentive to us, yet with how easy shoplifting could be, it only made sense, and this did not in any regards make us feel unwanted or targeted for any explicit reason.
The interior of the store is amazing. Lots of avant-garde pieces, and very fun to shop and browse. Wish their online website was a little easier to look for internal information, job postings, and easier online shopping, though.
Placed an order online 2 weeks ago, no shipping confirmation still. Emailed a week ago no response. Call the eshop line they claim representatives our always busy and no hold option it just hangs up. Called the New York store and no one answers this phone but at least it rings.

One of if not the best shopping experiences ever. Angelica was very attentive and hospitable. Great convo and personality. She showed us around every floor with no complaint. This was my wife’s first time visiting the location and she doesn’t want to shop anywhere else.
Gabriel on the 3rd floor assisted me with an online return. I purchased the incorrect size. He was very helpful and knowledgeable. The correct was in stock at the store so I was able to leave with exactly what I wanted! Thank you Gabriel!!
Everyone has their own favorite floor and for good reason: theres great stuff and variety to be had here. Ive always found staff to reciprocate kindness here, so be friendly and get friendly.
They shipped out not one wrong size but 2 and then I have to travel hours to return something that they messed up? Yea right never again

I’m a very longtime shopper at CDG and DSM and have never had a negative thing to say about either until now.I recently made an e-purchase and had a couple of follow up questions. My email was never answered, although within 24 hours is promised and repeated phone calls to DSM were answered with a recording saying that the mailbox was full.Contact should be as simple as it is to make a purchase and as is apparent from previous comments, this has been an inconsiderate issue for months.
Shopping here was a great experience! Especially with great Customer Service from Melanie! She knew her stuff and showed us some great items that fit our taste and budget! We also enjoyed munching at Rose Bakery - their Quiche and Carrot Cake is to die for! Thank you Melanie for making our shopping 🛍 so enjoyable!
Worst customer service experience ever. They shipped me a pair of CDG sneakers and the package was lost 2 weeks ago. I try to call and email them for the past 2 weeks, no one replied. Will not purchase again.
Love this store. But recently used its E-Shop and was very disappointed. Shipping has been severely delayed, customer support will keep you waiting fora while and say that no agents are available. If you are going to start an online shop, make sure you have the resources and capacity to support that business with at least a supporting customer service staff. Go to the store, don’t shop online...

I ordered a pair of shoes from Dover street online store and it took over 2 weeks for the shoes to be shipped. The only reason the shoes were shipped was because I finally decided to contact them via email since I left messages on the phone and I never heard back.I had to order shoes from a different Store that sells similar clothing if not better than Dover street. The store called FARFETCH shipped the shoes within 5 days no problem. Additionally, I tried to return the shoes back to Dover Street because now I had two similar pairs. They told me I had to pay for return shipping label. And when I called FARFETCH I had the best customer service, with no hassle and no discussion about paying for a return shipping label.Just be careful when ordering from Dover street online site as the customer service is horrible, you won’t be able to talk to anyone, you will pay to ship back any items that didn’t work and if you call the New York store they will refer you back to their online site.

Waited outside to enter the supreme store 1 hour and was first in line just for the worker to say he didn’t have any more shirts even though he did and sold all of them to someone else that came 2 minutes before opening horrible costumer service
I have heard great things about this place but they have to clarify their hours of operation. Here on google maps, their hours are specified as closing at 7, and when I arrived at 6:10, they said that they were closed, and that they always closed at 6. I would love to give a better review but can’t due to the fact that I couldn’t go in.
I have had 3 experiences with Dover street market, all amazing.I have been to this location twice on vacation to NY and both times I was there I have felt welcomed and have received great service. I am very happy with my purchases. 3rd experience was through the e-shop, my order has shipped and arrived at a very good amount of time and have received the package this afternoon. Instore is okay, Online is just a nightmare. i can never ever get anything on E-Flash page. They just cater to Scalpers and Bot users and dont bother with fixing any of these problems. Its just sad honestly.
Amazing as always. Making a birthday wish come true i won a raffle and love my gdragon air force 1. They have a great cafe and many other designer items and brands. It was the first time winning a raffle here and i hope not the last. As a normal customer who shops here often, today is the best day ever and i hope for many more!

Unique shopping experience and cool display of various brands in the street wear scene. Customer service is friendly and approachable. Items are well curated and unique. They carry brand designer names all within one retail space so really makes for an interesting and convenient shopping experience, but can seem pricey (you get what you pay for; top quality=top dollar). Definitely try to come here when Im in the city.
First time buying Supreme overthere and service is really bad
I gave it 4 stars because there were some really helpful people and then there were some gold diggers. When you judge this book by its cover you miss out on a sell. When you say things that are not conducive to a positive shopping experience you miss out on a sell. When you offer me products YOU KNOW do not match my aesthetic or meet my personal fashion image you get ignored & you miss out on a sell. Do better. If these details do not matter to you than clearly neither does your paycheck. Do better. I gave them 4 stars however because the guys on the lower level were super kind & helpful. They deserve 7 stars. Sorry your team ruined it. Maybe you can teach them what NOT to do.
They only really seem to care about making the store pretty. I come every Friday afternoon after work to kill time before my way home, and the staff all seem to be running around and stressed making the store look perfect. Way too much work making it look good, they completely ignore customers just to quickly fold a shirt. Who cares!!!! I get so annoyed when I come.

I will say, I’ve been in the store many times and today (10.19.2018) was one of the first times where I felt so special as a client. Idk what’s different but the energy and staff in the store was awesome. Every floor, I was greeted and welcomed and offered assistance. It was an awesome feeling. Completely different feel, didn’t buy anything, but will be back. David on the first floor was excellent!!

The interior design of DSMNY is always fresh and unique, you would think it’s an art gallery. They offer a wide selection of apparel, ranging from established household names to new, up-and-coming brands. Popular streetwear brands such as Supreme and Palace could be found here also. A must for anyone into fashion and design. Ask for Joel when you stop by. He always has me set up and offers great customer service.

I had a really great experience shopping here, coming from Australia you dont have as easy access to brands and stores like this so when I found out a drop I was waiting for was going to be in store I talked to Yuske and he helped me get exactly what I wanted! The shop is amazing for anyone who loves clothes and art and the staff are even better! Worth a visit every time and Ill be back when Im next in New York 🙏🙏🙏
I almost rented this building ten years ago and am so impressed with the architectural work that Ive visited several times in the last month. Besides that, the high end merchandise is intriguing and Im looking forward to try the gourmet-style kitchen there. Worth a visit, certainly.

Dover Street Market is way ahead of the fashion forward curve. DSM features edgy clothing that 20 and 30 somethings will wear now that older people will probably wear in a year or two. If you want the track on where fashion is and where it is going this is clearly the store to frequent. Clothing is attractively displayed and sales persons are friendly, helpful and approachable. Dover St Mkt is a fashion romp not to be missed.
I often shop online at DSM so when I travelled to New York I was really excited to come here. The store didnt disappoint but the girl working on the cdg play level certainly did! Really dampened my experience in this store and made me not want to buy anything.
Super chic shopping center, the have cool brands like Tom Wood ;) Its conveniently located and theres some food options available too. The staff was very helpful. I really liked the interior design of the shop.
The workers here all have the worst attitudes. Help people instead of standing around staring at them and looking bored. I walked around a floor for 20 minutes and the floors arent that big, and it was not a busy day and not once did a sales person say hello. They all need a lesson in creating a luxury Experience given that they sell luxury items. I would give 1 star but I actually enjoy the product selection and the store space. The store has a cool concept, just hire cool, FRIENDLY people to work in it.

Apparently they don’t care much about accepting fraudulent credit card info, so it would not surprise me if they where just as sloppy with the info they have as the info they take. Can’t spent 850 bucks at a store in NY while I’m working on Ohio!! Not to mention I’ve never been to NYC! Buyer beware, and if you see this and this place has a fraudulent charge on your card pursue it, because you’re not the first!

I came here on a Saturday around noon. Not many people.This place reminds me of 10 Corso Como. Highly curated luxury boutique-like shopping for apparel, shoes, and accessories.They had some beautiful jewelry on the first floor. I will definitely be looking up some of the designers. I’ve been looking for pure 14k/18k gold jewelry in modern styles, and this place has a decent selection.I’m tired of gold-plated, and even gold-filled. As they seem to tarnish or wear out in a short period of time.There are 7 floors to explore. They’re all small, so you can go through each pretty quickly. If you’re looking for a specific designer, there’s a directory of which designers are on which floors in the elevator.Lots of designers in current trends and styles available. The curation leans towards edgy, street, alternative luxury style.

I have come to DSM plenty of times before as a customer and for special private events without any issues. Everyone has always been nice and respectful during each visit.I have never left an online review for any place. However, after attending a recent Supreme release, the experience exceeded way below my great past experiences. I do give credit to the organization and strict rules of the release, because without it would be pure madness. I’ve followed the rules down to a T, and my interactions with everyone from security to staff for the most part was very pleasant and respectful.All that changed after my interaction with the employee (sorry did not get her name but she was a shorter Asian woman) that assisted. She approached me, visibly agitated, and asked if I had a list. Last I checked, the rule sheet handed out did not say I had to have a prepared list of what I wanted. I assume she asked this thinking I was a reseller. If so, it is poor customer service to assume the intentions of someone who’s prepared to spend upwards to a thousand dollars. Not everyone who attends these releases are resellers. While at the register she was aggressively placing everything down as if she did not want to assist, while at the same time I couldn’t help but notice the cashier next to her was smiling and having a great interaction with another customer. Such a shame that one employee who couldn’t even do the bare minimum ruined it for all. Also I see in plenty of reviews that customer service situations like this will be taken into account going forward. This company has ripped me off. They charged my paypal for 3500.00 and now paypal says I owe it. They need to fix the problem or I will take legal action. I have tried contacting them with no help with it. Stay away from this company because they are a joke.

Its kinda like going to fashion and uber hip lifestyle museum or at gallery. Its a mini department store of fashion icons housed in an beautiful old Bank. They sell predominantly clothing and jewelry but theres also a cafe and they sell some unusual homewares. The price point is interesting because it goes from reasonably priced to outrageous.In that respect, theres something for everyone. The food looked interesting in the cafe and youll find some really unusual gift items as well throughout the store depending on what your budget is. Definitely worth having to look.
Great to come and see some high fashion brands. Enjoy 7 floors of nicely installed and arranged sets of clothing. Great space, good, expensive clothes. Come to peak at the installations and grab a coffee and a scone.
Sales associates and management are all 5 stars. I was assisted last week by an employee that I later learned was the store manager. He took me on a tour and made me feel so valued. Felt bad I only bought a shirt because he spent so much time with me, but glad I made the connection. I’ll definitely be back once I get my tax return to do some damage lol. Had a great time! Exclusive open for a hour like twice a week for exclusive brands an styles for sneakerheads an people that want gear thats not available to the public.There also open for the rest of the week everything they carry is top notch like 3 floors of straight 🔥 fire. It was an uncomfortable experience. I frequent the website so I was really excited to visit the store while visiting a friend in NYC (the shop is beautiful). The first salesperson we spoke with was very curt when I asked her how the floors were partitioned/where the menswear was located. A security guard kindly handed us a directory and informed us how to navigate the shop after the interaction. It was just a generally uncomfortable shopping experience. I could feel people looking over our shoulders, watching us as we searched the racks. I was so paranoid to the point where I didnt even take my time perusing the shop because I didnt feel welcomed there. I am a black man so I am absolutely sure this factors in, but I am also a casual fan of certain brands and designers but luxury designer wear is certainly not my lifestyle so perhaps I didnt look the part. However, I did buy a shirt I really wanted and the cashier was friendly and helpful during the transaction. If youre a PoC (black, in particular) and/or working or under-resourced, please be aware that you may be under a watchful eye when visiting the shop.

You should avoid the small Asian girl with the horribly filled in, unusually dark eyebrows, and dark (undyed) hair.She was leaning against the door of the fitting room that my friend was in as she was chatting up a storm with 2 of her friends in what I could hear was Mandarin. The door seamlessly blends into the wall that is essentially one big mirror, easy to miss. Depending on which way the door would swing open as my friend would eventually come out, I was a little concerned that she may either fall into the fitting room or get knocked over by the door.So I said to her, Oh be careful, thats a door right there. You might get hurt when it opens.And in an abrasive manner she yelled back IM WORKER HERE!I told her there really wasnt a need for an attitude and that I was just cautioning her about the door for her safety. And as I walked away, she continued in Mandarin to her friends and started having a giggling fit.I was extremely taken aback. I would think that with such a high end boutique and clientele like myself who pay a lot of money for the products being sold, staff should have a bit more class and readily/fundamentally know respect. I wasnt even asking her for help, but what if I were? How accommodating and respectful would she be then? But no, I wasnt even asking for help, I was just giving her a heads up about the door...Frankly, this behavior was cheap and belongs in Forever 21 where it came from. I will never look at Dover Street the same, again.

WARNING! MANAGER DAVID IS RUDE AND UNPROFESSIONAL! I typically dont leave 1 star reviews, BUT HERE WE GO! Ive been to this store before both in NYC and LA. And never once have a ever been so offended in my life! Apparently the manager of the store thinks hes higher then god! Someone should really go over customer service and training with him, cause his facial expressions really showed how annoyed he was to help me! I thought I was going to have this great day shopping and instead David killed my vibe! Thankfully I live on the west coast and will only visit their LA store.
