Unpleasant experience there with Babara. I won’t purchase at Chanel again. Unprofessional and not respectful. Chanel has the worst and customer service and management, comparing with other luxury brands. Disgusting

Sales associate Vicki is EXTREMELY unprofessional!!She does not even deserve a one star. I don’t know how she possibly could be working for a reputable company such as Chanel. Need to go learn some human skills first, prior to being a customer service personnel.

Large store with a good selection. Staff kinda judge if you were going to make purchases before deciding if they were going to help you or offer anything like water.Toilet facilities for customers, drinks are offered (if you look like you were going to buy), a couple of seats for those waiting.

Really bad phone order experience. Used to be a Chanel fan, it turned out wasting money and time. Chanel, if u don’t fix ur poor customer service you will keep losing ur reputation in the industry.

The doorman was so rude. We had an appointment and we arrived early. He told us to wait. After it passed the appointment time he let other people go in first. When I tried to talk to him about our appointment, he closed the door on me and gave me a stop sign with his hand. They need to train them or get a new one. VERY RUDE

Cold SAs as always, very small store with a small selection. I quickly grabbed a pair of earrings for my mom, checked out and got the hell out of there before frozen to death. Imaging how they would treat someone who didn’t buy stuff. Hard pass. If you want Chanel, there are TONS of nice SA out there on Instagram, or even SA at Saks are usually nicer.

Prior to visiting NYC my boyfriend and I found a ring we loved on the Chanel site. We sought out a store in NYC that focused on Chanel jewelry to see the specific ring we adored and that store was 737 Madison Ave. From the moment we entered we were treated like royalty...and we didnt look the part at all. We were greeted by Nina who immediately took us seriously and went above and beyond to find the piece we were seeking, including looking through my phone screen shots and viewing my partners as well. Once we identified the exact piece Judy Gehler stepped in and found the item in the back vault and brought it out for me to see. It was more gorgeous than I imagined. From there they figured out my ring size and said there was one in the country and could have it shipped overnight so that we could leave with it while on our vacation. The most amazing part of this experience is that I wanted to wear it on my ring finger, typically where you would wear an engagement ring, but we werent actually getting engaged. We are two adults not getting married (done that before) and just wanted a ring to signify our commitment. Never once did anyone in the boutique make it weird or uncomfortable like Congratulations, when are you getting married? It was like they could read us and knew exactly how to handle it. I would say that the ring was the best part of the trip but the experience in the boutique made it even more special and something I will never forget. I can only hope that well have another occasion to go back and make another purchase from these wonderful people. Plus the Plume ring is gorgeous.

LOVE this Chanel location the most in the city. Store is well structure, clean and organized. Wonderful staff and manager. Much less intimidating and SAs are friendlier, more helpful and less pushy than midtown 57th, Bergdorf, Saks and Soho locations. A true gem. My SA became a good friend of mine. Only drawback is there is no ready to wear but there is a section dedicated for fine jewelry.

Laurence from the boutique at SAKS was so rude to me and my partner we asked for a shopping bag with my purchase of Chanel Sneakers and he was so rude and treated us with so much disrespect and said we couldn’t have one because of inventory. I had just spent $1300 on sneakers so this was quite upsetting.I was honestly shocked even the other staff were surprised to see how rude he was treating us and when they wanted to help us he stopped them and threatened that they’d be in trouble. Will never return again what a horrible experience at Chanel. I will take my money elsewhere!

Horrible staff rude and disgusting !!!!!! They are all nice when you gonna spend hundreds but when I went to fix some sunglasses that I noticed after purchasing were crooked they gave me the run around. They were so rude and obnoxious! Once I told them I would contact consumers affairs and that it wouldn’t be the last they would hear from me they changed their tune real quick. What the f***

I went in with the intention of buying a pair of sunglasses I had already picked out, but changed my mind based on my experience. It was pouring rain and the doormen did not open the doors for us, instead they watched us struggle to get them open. Then there were tons of employees, but nobody greeted us or offered assistance. I walked around for a few minutes, but decided to leave because of the poor service. Nobody ever acknowledged us. Went to SAKS down 5th avenue instead - much better service.

The employees were very bias/racist towards my friend and myself (two Hispanic wom). I say this because as soon as Caucasian women walked in they greeted them and offered them Champagne and as for us they watch us like a hawk once we purchased a pair of six hundred dollar sunglasses then all of a sudden their demeanor changed now they want to speak and cater to us and offer us Champagne. #NOTCOOL
