Before the pandemic, I have always met all nice people when I came here. However, today the asian woman with a glasses who’s working is pretty rude. She has a bad attitude and poor service mind. That’s sad, she’s so unprofessional.
Forgot which airport duty free shop I visited on route to Free China but remember I was impressed by the selection. Later discovered on plane catalog for these similar gift items offered like glass snowscapes, alcohol and magazines.
The 2 star rating is not for the store since the store is always well stocked and most of the employees are always helpful when I go there. The 2 star rating is for the employee by the name of Fiona who I dealt with today. I walked in and everyone said hello and good morning except for her. The other ladies were unpacking items on the shelves so she was the only one available to assist customers. Im sure that was the only reason she came to ask if I needed help with the most unpleasant demeanor. I asked her the difference between the product I usually use and a newer product I saw from the same line. Her response was that one is for emergencies. What exactly that was supposed to mean is beyond me. I therefore saw the attitude and decided I would just stick with the product I know. She was rushing me out to the register when I noticed that there were bundled products that would have saved me money. She never pointed it out to me. I had to find it on my own by chance. I then asked her for a sample after I purchased over $150 worth of products. She pretended not to hear me and handed me the bag. I again asked her for a sample and she asked which one. I told her I will show her and walked to the area of the product from which I wanted a sample. Her response was I dont know if we have that. How about you look first prior to telling me this. My opinion on this is if you dont want to deal with customers, you probably should not get into the field of client services. She could probably do with a refresher course on how to treat customers. I have always come to this store and have never before had this experience. Hopefully I wont again.
Quick in and out..good selection
Diplomatic Duty Free Shops of New York is one of the shops I would recommend!! I brought my daughter here and she loved it!
A good downtown covered mall in a good location. Its not just the shops in the mall that make this good but its the others close by with oots of nearby restaurants as well.
Love it
GOOD PRODUCTS
Ken is doing a great job running the shop even the management is making things more difficult for customers by cutting existing benefits.
They have a good selection of perfumes and bags.
The employees were nice and helpful.😊👍
Would not take a return or allow an exchange (even for an item of a higher value) 6 business days after purchase. Ill take my business elsewhere.
Nice spot for grabbing a quick gift.
