I visited the store today to get my new phone set up. The guys were very friendly and easygoing. My phone was set up fast and without any issues. They were professional and overall a pleasant experience. Its a small store and no wait, which is great. They even sold me a poop emoji speaker as I waited for my phone. My daughter will love it and perfect gift I didnt know I needed.
Monty was incredibly helpful. I went into this Verizon location with a completely shattered phone that did not work at all. While I was panicking, Monty was patient and solution oriented the entire time. He solved all of my problems seamlessly and truly looks out for the customers needs. I walked out of that Verizon store with a new phone and a smile on my face! Impeccable customer service. Highly recommend.
I’ve been trying to avoid having to write a negative review, however, after my experiences with this Verizon store I feel I should share so that it hopefully doesn’t happen to anyone else. I was initially very excited about Verizon. Sadly, right away I was hit with additional fees. The rep that helped me left this information out of our discussion and even hand wrote my future bills excluding these additional costs. I was told these were standard for all phone carriers. This is inaccurate. AT&T would not charge these fees. After 6 weeks of communicating with this store, I finally received some of the fees back. At this point, I was leaning towards 3 stars because of some of the miscommunication that happened in those 6 weeks. Unfortunately, this was only the beginning of a frustrating relationship with Verizon. This very store ended up purchasing 5 iPhones to my account, for another customer that would be delivered within a few days. I immediately went to the store to confront them about this mistake. I was told the customer had a similar sounding name as me, and therefore, had access to my personal information and had the ability to order this on my name. I received a call a few days later from the store that it was handled and removed from my account. It wasn’t. I decided to contact Verizon directly. They said it was still on my account and had to handle it for me. I had to confirm via email that it wasn’t my purchase. This was another 2 weeks of having to ensure I wouldn’t be charged. I have not been charged for them yet, but I still have it on my app and it’s shown as ‘undeliverable.’ Lastly, this was not my last frustration with Verizon. This very store has now ran a credit check on me 3 times. I have not been to their location or called them in weeks. However, towards the end of February this store did random credit checks on me and Verizon emailed me to inform me. This store does not help to protect personal information and takes weeks to months to resolve issues. They make me feel like they have it taken care of when I am in the store, but have failed to follow through. I’m so frustrated and disappointed with their service. So again, I’m back to contacting Verizon to understand why my credit was ran three days in a row at this location.

Nick and team were super helpful in assisting when my phone had a sudden hardware malfunction. They were very polite and patient in providing information on my options for repair or upgrade, and made the process of getting a new phone and transferring all the data so easy. Very glad to have a dependable Verizon location around the block if anything happens.
Going to deal with anything phone or utility related stresses me out because it usually feels like going to war with the companies. When my phone got stuck in a boot loop I was trying to avoid having to go into the Verizon store but finally had to go in and this location ended up being the most pleasant, easy, and helpful experience Ive ever had dealing with something like this. They were patient with me while answering my myriad of questions and helped me find the most financially affordable, while also good, option that was possible for me. They tried their best to fix my existing phone but when it proved not possible, made sure the transition to a new device saved as much information as possible and assuaged any and all of my annoyances with the process. Ill only go back to this spot if I ever need to deal with Verizon again. Thank you guys!

I had came to this store assuming itd be just like any other phone store, due to previous experience with bad customer service that Id ALWAYS received from all of my other Carrier providers in the past. When I walked into the store today, I already felt like I was at home with the most friendliest customer service Ive recieved from everyone in the store. They were able to answer all my questions in a thorough fashion. Explaining both the Pros and Cons of every plan to make my decision making skills easier. Later on, when I had questions about the plans, Mo, actually broke down all the plans and explained every plan thoroughly and as a new customer he suggested me one of the best plans I could off gotten that would meet my needs. Phenomenal customer service in this location, I definitely recommend working with Mo he will definitely give you that 1 on 1 experience that you wont find anywhere elsewhere in this fast paced city!!
Went down to start a basic family plan for 5 members. Asif helped us out and he did an outstanding job. We took 2 hours to get everyone’s numbers sorted out (no fault of Verizon’s; we reached the store at different times, none of us are US citizens, so identity verification took a while + we were all porting our numbers over from 5 separate providers, each with their own tricky processes) but Asif remained patient and cheerful throughout, expertly handling our 5 separate sets of problems simultaneously while also managing to cater to other walk-in customers without making any of us wait for more than a minute. Great dude. Thanks, we appreciate it!

This was the best experience at any Verizon store Ive ever had- Pablo and his team were extremely helpful in helping me with my phone upgrade and answering all of my questions. They even took their time to go to another store to get the phone I wanted and were very friendly and made the time go by quickly. I would come back here for any issues or questions!
I initially went to the Verizon store uptown to upgrade my phone but they gave me misinformation. This Verizon store however, was able to answer my questions and upgrade me with no problem. Asif the store manager was very knowledgeable and walked me through a other wise lengthy process but just took twenty minutes. My new store from now on!

Im reviewing the excellent customer service at this Mobile Guru location, not necessarily the Verizon network itself. The staff at this Verizon store are so patient and helpful, explaining billing and services to me and my extremely tech-challenged sister (the account holder). They took a lot of time with us and helped us straighten everything out. And they managed to smile through the whole thing.

I have always had great experiences here. Customer service is great and they will go over and beyond to help you. For example, when I was traveling internationally and was going to 5 countries, my IPHONE wasnt going to work in each country. The staff at Verizon lent me a blackberry for FREE and loaded all my contact onto the device AND walked me through my international package options. Its great to have this store in our neighborhood!

I have been coming here for 5 years? 10 years? Feels like forever. Every problem I ever have (or any member of my family has) they have been able to solve, sometimes taking hours of research if needed to do so. I had them outfit my office with mobile devices and they were terrific with that too. Mobile Guru has made living within a Verizon universe possible, even ease-ful. Hats off!

I have visited many Verizon Wireless locations in my many years as a Verizon Wireless customer. I have to say this particular location is by far the best when it comes to good knowledgeable. friendly, service. These guys are a little further away from me but I take the extra 5 min walk to come to this specific location because of the outstanding service compared to ones that are closer. Its hard to find a place where they are good at customer service and product knowledge. I am a huge fan of this location and hightly recommend it over other locations. Thanks guys!

These guys are incredible! They couldnt be more friendly or pro-active. Recommended less expensive alternatives, explained all my options, found a discount I was unaware of... they even offered to walk me through how to use my new phone. Ive never had a good experience at a phone store, but I cant say enough good things about my experience at this store.

Ahshay was great! He was very thorough and generally helpful. I had more than one account to look at and he was very patient while we tried to find the correct number. He even suggested a change to one plan that would save money on the monthly bill. I would definitely go back.
These guys are great! Very knowledgeable and friendly. They follow up with you on how to help you and can manipulate the phones very easily and show how to use stuff. They even tried to regain my contacts from my old phone when it broke (no luck).Sometimes the wait time is a little long because its a small store (3-4 employees) but you can call ahead for when would be a good time to show up. I highly recommend them.

My experience at most Verizon Wireless stores - especially when it comes to customer service - is usually poor at best.However, I went to this privately owned store and the difference was clearly noticeable. The people working there actually cared about fixing your issue because they knew it was a reflection of their store and their business. They actually took the time to explain to me what the problem was, and the different avenues we could try to resolve the issue. The service was really exceptional and Harry went out of his way to make sure I was satisfied - he even followed up with me to make sure everything was satisfactory.Honestly, if more stores had the service and legitimate concern for their customers as this one did, Verizon would have much happier customers.

I visited the Mobile Guru Verizon store this morning because my phone all of a sudden stopped working properly... I wasnt even sure if they had a service department. Not only did one of their associates, Mordi, diagnose my phone right away - he also personally called Verizon to arrange for delivery of my replacement device. All in all, this was such a pleasant experience - and I was in and out of there in about 15 minutes. Thank you!

I recently went in and worked with Asif, who was beyond helpful. He clearly understands Verizons different pricing schemes and can break them down to show the effective bottom line costs over the course of a 2 year contract. In my experience it is rare to find a wireless retailer who can easily synthesize the contract terms and hardware costs into the real price. Moreover, he was personable without being over-bearing. I never felt like I was being pushed into an unwanted option. If I can help it, I will never go to another Verizon retailer for any of my phone or account needs.

These guys are the best. They always figure out a solution to any issue, technical, which phone to get, etc. and are helpful beyond expectations. Harry is great and I trust his advice. When I think of leaving Verizon, I remind myself of them and stick it out.

Mobile Guru is the BEST FOR BUSINESS!! These guys really have been a huge asset to my business, since discovering Mobile Guru it feels like they work for my company they handle almost everything WIRELESS for all my staff and offices. They do have a few locations around the city but they all look like evey other Verizon. Take the extra second and make sure to go to one of their locations and I guarantee you will be as happy as I am to have found them.

Ive been with these guys for 5 years, and they are always there for you and will treat any problems quickly and properly. I bought my cell phone near my office in Midtown but the service has lacking. Mobile gurus took care of the problem and made me realize I cant go anywhere else to get this kind of service.
These guys are always so helpful. When I needed to add cellular data to my sons iPad and it wasnt possible due to his outdated device they said dont worry we can get you a hotspot instead. They found a quick solution and even waived fees since Im a long time customer.
Dear verizonI have been coming to this store for the better part of my stay I TriBeCa. These two employees Yea and Asif went out of their way past closing time to support me and reassure me with the problems of my phone. I am delighted to know that I can return to this shop for any problems. These new guys are here to help and an breath of fresh air compared to the old staff.

Absolutely the worst. Completely misled me about the early termination fee reimbursement which they repeatedly failed to process. Multiple visits to the store led each time to a promise that they submit it and they never did, nor did they ever get back to me as promised. And now, having submitted the paperwork online to Verizon, I am informed that because the submission was not received within 60 days of activation, I am not eligible to receive the reimbursement. So the stores service is miserable and so is Verizons.

Malik was extremely helpful the minute I walked in the store. I dropped my phone in the toilet and sadly needed to buy a new one. I just happened to be in this neighborhood for my daughters swimming lesson and it could not have worked out better. I was in and out in 20 minutes with a new phone and it was completely painless. I frequent this location for all my Verizon related needs and they have provided superior service every time. They have replaced the backs of shattered iPhones for free and solved all my technical issues. Some of the negative reviews on here are completely baseless in my opinion and appear to be older than the current store management

After offering me a free installment plan for upgrading my iphone to a 6s plus, the person behind the counter tried to charge me almost 500$ after more than an hour setting up my new phone. I cancelled the order and left the store without a new phone. I called Verizon the next day and they told me Mobile Guru actually didnt cancelled the order and I would owe 900$ for a new phone. I told Verizon to write a report and the manager of Mobile Guru was supposed to call me back, which never happened. Very upsetting experience.
Shay and everyone at Verizon in Tribeca were awesome. They got the the new iPhone 7 in black thats is impossible to find anywhere. I left my phone for an hour and came back and the new phone was up and running fully functional just in place where I left the old one. Making it super easy and convienient.

I have been a customer since 2009, and would not think of going to any other Verizon location although I have moved. All the gentleman understand and provide the type of service that you just do not find anymore. And I have a very high bar.
I frequent this location anytime I am in town. The staff has always gone above and beyond whenever I have needed any assistance. I was convinced to make the switch from Sprint after purchasing my first of a couple of iphones from the location. They were even nice enough to show me a few things about the phone I did not know about. They even went next door and purchased a coffee for me because the activation took so long! I do not think customers are valued as they used to be in this day in age but I always feel valued at this store. I cannot see how anyone can say they have had a bad experience here.
Nina, Asif, Shay are the coolest new yorkers I ever met. Their customer service skills as well as their knowledge of all the verizon products is out of this world. I recommend if you are in the new york area in the down town area to visit them and the will get you right.
Scammers and frauds here. Beware! Dont believe what they tell you, read through all the fine print carefully and demand to see your plan in their computer screen before you let them change it. While buying a new phone they sold us an iPad cheaply, failing to mention it came with a data plan and a two year contract. Once the bill came and we realized theyd lied, they refused to fix it. (Also the employees are stealing from the owner. They told us we wouldnt have to pay sales tax on some smaller items if we paid in cash--we didnt. No honor among thieves.) This is NOT a corporate Verizon store. Go to the corporate store on Wall Street. Luckily Verizon corporate fixed it for us and told us they would follow up with an investigation.
