The place is actually good its just if you want to design your whole floor in your house carpet can get very expensive but overall my experience was good because those guys were super helpful and cool.

My family and I visited the store mid December to purchase carpet for the kiddies room.The sales associates couldnt have been more helpful. They took us around the store advising on suitable carpets for a kids room that would be prone to the occasional spill.The install team works for the store directly and is not soused out as so many services are these days. The arrived on time, cleaned as they went and left the room clean and tidy.With the little left over carpet - the store tuned these into floor mats and no extra charge. Unfortunately our apartment building does not allow for floor mats outside of our front doors. Not a problem for the store as they turned these into smaller mats that we use next to the kitchen sink.Over all - brilliant service and well worth a trip here if you are purchasing carpet and tile.

Linda is fantastic!! We installed new carpet in our house and couldnt be happier with it. EVERYTHING about our experience was positive and professional, just like all the other reviewers have said. We visited at her San Mateo office (you just need to call the NY office for an appointment) and it was very convenient.

Linda is cheaper than most places but she does not check the finished product. We love the carpet, the price and the quality but the installation aspect could be better. One Installer was great, the other left a seam in the worst possible spot. Also, where the carpet meets the hardwood floor doesnt look so great.

They did a beautiful job installing flooring throughout my entire apt. and years later when i had a flood, they did a great job of putting in a totally different floor in the affected areas and made it all work beautifully together.

I purchased two different area rugs from this store.Two years apart because the first rug anytime there was a spill or dirt and I cleaned it with rug woolite cleaner or rubbed it the color came out. I loved the color of rug so reorder it and only used water to clean the second one because the owner stayed I couldn’t use any chemicals. The color still came out on second rug as well in six months.When I contacted the store the woman who answered the phone said it was my fault and she had a customer and didn’t have time to listen to me.I was actually calling to reorder another carpet.She also stated I should of read online about my carpet being sensitive to being cleaned.I’m completely shocked of the ugly way she handed my call. I can afford to order another rug but if you can’t I would not recommend this company. No details came with this rug that I shouldn’t use foam rug cleaners have used that product on other rugs for 10 years with no issues.

My floor was installed by Manhattan Carper & Flooring. I called and emailed them when bumps developed on it, but they would get off the phone telling me they would call back, which they didnt. They made an appointment finally and cancelled it a half hour after it was to happen.A terrible place if you ever need them to fix anything theyve done.
