I purchased a continental assortment today ($28; 2/13/19) and gifted it for valentines day. To my horror, when the box was opened most of the chocolates were defective. Apparently, Li-Lac is having quality control issues for the valentines day rush. PLEASE DO NOT PURCHASE CHOCOLATE FROM LI-LAC FOR VALENTINES DAY THIS YEAR UNLESS YOURE READY FOR DISAPPOINTMENT!--or at least ask the clerk to open and inspect the chocolates before you give them as a gift. FANTASTIC chocolate - the sugar free. The dark chocolate peanut clusters are to die for. So rich, so creamy, so good!!! Best sugar free chocolate EVER. Even though they have the maltilol they dont cause distress. WONDERFUL!!!

AMAZING chocolate! I loved the hazelnut squares and the creamy white chocolate! My in-laws loved the dark chocolate, and my son ate WAY too much of everything! Needless to say, hes a big fan too! Love supporting small business- especially when it tastes so yummy!! Cant wait to get more!!

I discovered this place accidentally when I was waiting at the Apple store in Grand Central and boy am I glad I did. These chocolates are amazing. I had the vegan 72% dark chocolate almond bars and marzipan chocolates. Loved them! Theyre full of rich flavor. Unlike any other dark chocolate I had. Love. But I have to note that theyre a little pricey.

Whats there not to say they make chocolates fresh.I especially like white almond bark or dark chocolate Graham crackers.Bd careful its addictive.

As a travel agent I ordered a few Statue of Liberty chocolates and they came nicely wrapped. The reps enjoyed them when I took them to abroad.I am a sucker for chocolate and needed to try some at Li-Lacs. They boast about being in business since 1923 ! There candy is creamy and good. Stands out over Godiva. My fave is the marzipan, not to happy about the dark chocolate. They have animal shapes which make cute gifts to those that love dogs, cats, monkeys, + the bunny. Good for all occasions like birthdays, graduation, baby births- they seem to have a mold for every happening!

Amazing chocolates! Hand-made and great taste. We tried the continental assortment box selection and liked them greatly. Would recommend for all chocolate lovers and people looking for a non-canonical but still New York exclusive gift.

Delicious chocolate. very old world selection - but the quality cannot be beat. the move from christopher street has not changed the offerings - just as good tho they dont take you on a tour of the kitchens any more. splurge! its worth it!

Walnut fudge and all their truffles are so mouth watering. What a treat.

Ordered 15 boxes of chocolates from them. 1 of them was not delivered. They refused to provide a refund despite 100% satisfaction guarantee. In addition, Adam, the person I spoke to on the phone, was incredibly rude. Overall, a really poor experience.

They have the best fudge! I always get it for my parents when they are in town.

Ive gotten the milk chocolate almond bark twice and it gave me an upset stomach... the first time I just thought it was something else... but I got it yesterday and Im in bed with bad cramps, pain and throwing up.Nay I got a bad batch
