Greeted upon entrance.Employees were helpful.Book selection small but nice.Tarot/Oracle cards selection large, but looked a little disorganized.Crystal selection didn’t cut it for me.If you’re just looking for a pocket rock and mainly tumbled at that - this place is for you. I don’t like tumbled rocks let alone even small pocket ones. If you’re like me seeking for more of the chunky larger pieces and in raw - this really wasn’t the place nor was Crystal Garden as it was over priced.

So glad I found this shop right in the East Village. went twice in one weekend once I did. Everything from the vibes, to the knowledgeable staff, to the crystal selection was amazing. I really treasure the crystals and pendants I got here. Even the incense sticks are authentic from India. Love it here can’t wait to return

Wonderful shop and fantastic staff! While we were there, the young lady behind the counter was working alone. She was very patient answering phones, helping customers and ringing the register. I was so impressed! She knew her stuff about everything in the shop! Theres tons of items and if they dont have it, they offer to order it. Great place. I will be back!

I LOVED IT SO SO MUCH I just went here for my first time because I’ve never been able to find crystal shops near me but when I saw one near my school I was so excited! the smell in there is the best, the staff was very helpful and very complimentary. Visited this place for the first time and absolutely loved it, the vibes there are immaculate and the staff was extremely friendly and made me feel welcomed. There’s an abundance of crystals to choose from to your needs and other items such as tarot cards, candles, jewelry, etc. There’s always going to be something that you might like at Aum Shanti. I ended up getting a good amount of crystals and didn’t break the bank. Will definitely be going back soon 😁

If or when you run into friends in this place you at least know that you are both on the same page spiritually. I was passing by, smelled the burning sage and was just going to run in, purchase some sage and in the wind. Ran into my Sistren and purchased some sage, citrine and quartz. Kind of pricey in here but the vibes are nice to have a discussion. They should sell tea in there.

AUM SHANTI is the esoteric shop to go on 230 E. 14th St, Rakesh and staffs here is the best. Unique and quality in products, services and staffs. Rakesh and staffs are friendly and helpful in matching, connecting and explaining the stones, sprays and etc., as they are not pushy salespeople.

I was drawn to this place and had to get a tarot card reading and it was 100% on the dot with everything! The workers were amazing and very sweet, I was blown away I couldn’t find words to say! Definitely recommend!

I was so happy to find this store on accident and then was extremely happy to find out it’s owned by an Indian person! The quality of the items is amazing and there are some amazing fines in this store. The saleswomen are very nice and very knowledgeable. I’ll definitely be coming back to purchase some more things!

Super beautiful shop. It has a very welcoming atmosphere. The crystal section is very well organize. Makes it super easy to find what you looking for and for those who are new to crystals every crystal has it’s own section with the name of the crystal and a little useful information about the crystal and what it’s use for. The workers are super chill they let you shop around without being all over you but are also super helpful when you have questions. I will definitely make this place my to go spot from now on. 🤍

Been here a few times but yesterday was a good day to go. I found three stones I wasnt really for but when I saw the Garnet, Hematite, and Charoite crystals I knew they werre for me. But before I left i saw a Vlack Tourmaline bracelet but had no price tag. The staff helped me with that and I ended getting that. I was happy with that purchase.

Wonderful ladies work here! They gave me all the time i needed to choose a deck. Then waited till I chose an aura quartz. The prices are great. Selections GREAT!

I fell in love with this shop since the first time I walked in there a few years ago. As a practicing Wiccan I can say that they have just about every single thing one might need in terms of ritual and altar supplies. They have a wide variety of incense, essential oils, candles, books (especially those hard to find) calendars, etc. There are many tarot card decks, rune stones, and pendulums made from all kinds of stones and metals for divination. They also have some lovely jewelry. The energy of the store is extremely pleasant and clear, just as it should be. The staff is super friendly, helpful and you can tell they know their wares Prices are not bad considering the location. They can also place an order for you if youre looking for something specific that they dont currently have or thats out of stock. Overall, its a wonderful place for all things spiritual.

I never leave reviews because I usually forget or just cant be bothered but I loved this shop so much I am leaving maybe my 5th review ever lol!I randomly found Aum Shanti via google because I was visiting NYC and wanted to get a reading. I loved their website and the videos they have explaining different readings and terms. Its hard to balance earnestness and modernity and tradition but this shop really does it beautifully.I booked a reading with Tuesdai who is quite possibly the most exquisitely magical person I have ever met, but also maybe just in existence. I had time before my reading so I did some browsing and my biggest takeaway was just how beautiful the energy of the shop is overall. It is a very well curated space in every regard. The selection of items is impressive and thorough, from beautiful jewelry and incense to books and various card decks, ceremony candles and ritual supplies. Whoever merchandises this store knows what they are doing and clearly cares a great deal.This is a space and entity worth supporting and experiencing. I did my reading in person but I would absolutely feel safe and fulfilled doing a virtual reading through them. I cannot possibly say enough about Tuesdai and what a gift she is.This shop is a treasure.

You can FEEL the beautiful ENERGY when you walk inside. I went in looking for a certain ring in my size (that is very hard to find) and she had it in the store!! It was the only one and I am beyond grateful, and elated that I decided to walk in the store!! Thank you so much!

I entered on a Friday evening and was greeted almost immediately. I had a fabulous reading with Carmen who really truly deserves an entirely separate review of her own. The services provided were excellent and at a very reasonable price for Manhattan standards. What really sealed the deal for me was Carmen going above and beyond after my reading to help find a vial of Florida water and a few helpful trinkets for a well needed cleansing. I’ll definitely be returning soon!

I was honored to give a talk and a workshop at Aum Shanti Dec 15. The owner Rakesh is magnificent. He is so kind, warm and welcoming that it was like being with family . His store is very inspiring to be inside. He carries amazing and beautiful things from around the world. In giving my talk and workshop I felt surrounded by peace, beauty and love. It was an extraordinary experience and I will absolutely be back. Everyone who attended loved the atmosphere and shopped for many treasures. I happened in on my way past. It is packed with books and stones and crystals and such - but not in an JAM PACKED way - very organized and easy to access. For the area, the shop has a lot of wandering space. The staff was very pleasant and the atmosphere was welcoming and calm.The location on 14th street seems, frankly, odd, to me - not bad- just...odd. The prices were a little high - I bet they have pretty high rent, though.

Took my daughter out for breakfast in the area and stumbled upon this gem! They had exactly what I was looking for, which can be difficult to find. The staff is very pleasant and knowledgable. Cant wait for the expansion this Spring.

Love this store because it has a wide variety of crystals, incense, and other spiritual sundries, as well as helpful, kind staff and solid pricing. This last visit I picked up a beautiful lapis lazuli and got it wrapped in copper wire into a ring. Martha elevated the stone into a greater piece of art, and I love it! Excited to give some other gems this special treatment. Super reasonably priced at $20 for the ring — an excellent way to strap more crystals on, ha. Thank you, Martha and team!

This is a wonderful shop filled with candles, books and other reading material, crystals, jewelry and the like. This beautiful shop is full of what ever you need (and dont know you need!). The owner is super friendly too. Just an all-around positive vibe here. Ill definitely be back.

The store sells great items to help with personal life but pricey. The items that Ive purchased have worked so far. I will say this the gentlemen who work here are very friendly but the women need to take lessons about customer service. Ive heard from other customers about the women being rude.Overall keep the nice gentlemen there they really know and understand the customer.

One would think those who work in these type of establishments are warm and friendly. They absolutely are not. There were many things I wanted to purchase but the energy of the place definitely deterred me. They are marketeers in my judgment and not really LIVING what they are selling. Find somewhere else who is living that truth. They are not it.

Accidentally spent hours in here. So much to choose from at Aum Shanti and so inviting. Rakesh and his staff are very knowledgeable and very friendly. Learned how to tell the difference between a real bronze statue and an iron statue coated in bronze from a conversation he was having with one of my friends about something totally unrelated. My next purchase from them will either be a statue. Now just to figure out which one!

Devastated! Profoundly hurt! I am truly traumatized forever because of what this establishment allowed to happen and as result do to me.I have never lost more trust in businesses and in people as I have because of Aum Shanti.After being told over the phone that they provide re-beading service, I brought in a priceless bracelet for the service and was never contacted afterwards.About a month passed and when I stopped by I was told that they actually don’t provide service to such a bracelet and they had lost one of the beads.I can’t express in words how sentimental this bracelet is and the loss of one of its bead by this business has scarred me for life.

Spiritual shopping hyped for new age wanderers.

I noticed the blond lady at age was a bit rude to a customer, while I was standing at the line. I feel like she was more a stressed out because there was a lot of customers and not many helpers. I had so many questions about the bracelets(most of them didn’t have a name) so I had to ask that lady to help, I got answers, but wouldn’t say it was pleasant. Get more people to work in the store who would def will be interested at what they are doing.

Great place for Indian books, yoga material and fragrances. Calm and comfortable. Very knowledgeable staff and owner. A definite for folks into yoga!

Small place just like many other store like it but its still a very cozy and inviting atmosphere. You can buy crystals books on buddhism, Hinduism, wicca, and more. They have candles inscents, and tarot/ Oracle cards if you a looking for a quick place to pick up a supply for a spell I feel that this is a good place overall.
