I had a wonderful appointment this week with Alisa. She was knowledgable and thorough and helped me figure out what I really was looking for after trying on just a few gowns. She totally figured out my style even though I was unable to explain it myself. Beautiful showroom and lots of mirrors!
If youre shopping for wedding dresses in NYC you must go here! Lisa was wonderful, she really heard what I was looking for and was extremely knowledgeable and kind. Their selection is fantastic and it feels like a more personal experience than many other studios. Strongly recommend.
I had the most amazing experience today! The showroom was beautiful, the dresses in great shape and my stylist Lisa was THE BEST! She got me it was easy and I think I found my dress :) Special day!
I felt very taken care of at Wedding Atelier. It offers a more private shopping experience and it feels luxury. Martuly was amazing and listened to all my needs and brought me some gorgeous dresses to try on. I really loved our experience!
A lovely experience. Nice atmosphere. Very attentive and knowledgable. Really helped me figure out what I liked.
Wow, beautiful store, with an incredible selection of dresses by trusted designers. Chloe was an amazing consultant - knowledgeable, efficient, professional. She really listened to what I was looking for. Would highly recommend!!
Yvonne was super helpful and I loved her approach of having me name adjectives of how I wanted to look to help her search for my dress. She absolutely captured the vision and also brought a lot of different looking options and was very easy to work with, calm, understanding, and listened. It’s also just a beautiful shop with lots of options!
Wedding Atelier is the best bridal salon in NYC. When I arrived it felt exactly like what shopping for a wedding dress should feel like. The space is beautiful and intimate, and therefore never overcrowded. When I arrived my stylist Daisy met me and listened to what I wanted in a dress and quickly gathered a dozen gorgeous gowns. The real magic came from the store manager, Ruth, who in passing overheard me say the word whimsical when referring to our upcoming mountaintop wedding. She brought over a gorgeous Lazaro dress that was not my initial sought out style, but after trying it on it became the gown I chose! It was truly the perfect gown and I wouldnt have even known to consider it if it hadnt been for the attention to detail that Wedding Atelier offers to each of their clients. Between Ruth, Daisy, and my seamstress, Nordia, the process of finding my perfect wedding gown was a dream come true. If you are a bride to be, make and appointment at Wedding Atelier and you will not be disappointed!
Lisa was very nice and knowledgeable of the stock and designers. It was great that she brought me both dresses that I described, and amazing dresses that I wouldn’t have picked for myself.Lots of choices and very welcoming space.
I had an absolutely wonderful experience with Riley from Wedding Atelier. The showroom is stunning and very spacious, our group had its own little section that felt private. The only reason I didnt actually purchase my gown from here was because I had my eye on a dress from another store that I specifically flew to NYC to try on. If I hadnt had that appointment later that afternoon, I would have said yes to my dress at Wedding Atelier. Riley was very supportive and understanding, never applying pressure to make a decision before I was ready. I would highly recommend this boutique to any bride. I tried on probably 120+ gowns at more than 15 boutiques in Atlanta, Dallas, and NYC and am incredibly picky, so I can confidently say that you will be pleased with your experience here.
I went to several different bridal salons looking for my wedding dress and many were not very accommodating and had stylists who were a bit pushy and aggressive. Not only did Wedding Atelier have a wide selection of dresses, my stylist Riley was so sweet and helpful and not pushy at all. I was in a knee brace and she helped me get in and out of the dresses and took special care. COVID hit and my wedding was postponed and the salon was very accommodating to work with me on rescheduling fittings with ease. When the time came for my fittings- I got stuck in traffic for my first appointment and was over an hour late- the ladies and seamstress were extremely nice and accommodating even though they had over 10 other fittings that day. I was beyond surprised at how sweet they were even though I was causing the inconvenience! The seamstress spent over an hour fitting my dress perfectly, even working with my very long and multi-tiered train. The other fittings have gone extremely well and each lady I worked with was so nice, real and helpful. I can’t remember her name- red curly haired manager, was super helpful during my fittings making adjustments and also such a nice real lady to chat with. I usually don’t leave reviews but felt compelled to leave one today as I had such a positive experience and I hope others will too! Wedding dress shopping/fitting can be so stressful and Wedding Atelier made it easy and enjoyable!
I had an amazing experience at Wedding Atelier - truly what ever girl dreams of. My consultant Riley was awesome and totally understood my style. When I went to another shop the next day, I couldnt help but wish she was there with me.
Unpleasant experience. I clearly told them my dress size ahead of time (Im a 16), which I believe they even asked for. When I get there, however, she brings in a size 6 for me to try on. A 6? That clearly doesnt work. She then proceeded to bring out dresses that did not match any of my desired styles but simply because they were closer to my size (although still small). Id wished shed just been honest ahead of time and told me they didnt have any dresses in my size. The industry is biased and discriminatory against larger women; I get that, and I wouldnt hold her personally responsible for that. What I didnt appreciate was her lack of empathy and dishonesty. Im purchasing my gown from another high-end salon that was wonderful and used helpful tricks to help me try on a dress, even when it was too small. They knew how to work with a biased system... Wedding Atelier does not.
Chloe was amazing!! The dresses are all stunning and they do a great job of listening to you and recommending dresses based on your requests. I love that you can walk around and look at dresses as well!
This was my first bridal store to start trying on dresses and they were wonderful, especially Lisa the consultant! I didn’t find a dress there yet but I would love to order it from them if possible because of how great my experience was.
Yvonne was incredible — really warm and friendly and an expert at helping me navigate through tons of styles and options. Dont go here without her help!!
Riley was super helpful and took our feedback into consideration. Everyone was very welcoming and we greatly enjoyed our experience! Will be ordering from here!
I had a wonderful experience at Wedding Atelier! The showroom is clean and I love that they have us remove our shoes before walking around. The stylist who assisted me was Chloe Kim. She listened carefully and choose dresses that were within my budget. Chloe is caring, kind and so patient. She was so helpful, gave great advice and took the time to get to know me. After my first trial, I couldn’t get my mind off one of the dresses I tried on so I went back a week later to try it on again. Chloe was not pushy at all and said that I should take all the time I need to make a decision. I basically walked around the dress for close to an hour and she was sooo patient and kind with me. I finally decided to say yes to that dress and I’m so happy I did! I’m so thankful for all the time and attention I received and cannot wait to go back for my fittings.
Yvonne was a lovely person to work with and she really listened to my wishes for the dress. I was excited to say yes to the dress with her help! The front desk staff was also incredibly friendly and the booking was easy. I would recommend this store to all of my friends.
Martuly was very knowledgeable about the dresses and made me think about things that were helpful ( ex: realistic expectations for altering - certain materials/designs won’t give you that Kim k snatched waste after alterations- it was nice to know this beforehand ). I’m taking a star off because I do not agree with the store policy which does not allow brides to look for their own dress, not just touch but you can’t look. I’ve been to several other stores in the area and none of them had this policy. It’s frustrating for a bride who knows what she wants and is picky to not be able to sift through dresses. However, Martuly was able to pick out some nice options for me.
I had my first bridal appointment at Wedding Atelier…and I couldn’t have asked for a better experience! From the moment we walked in to the second we left, all the ladies there were incredibly kind and professional. Their dress selection is stunning - I felt like every dress I tried on was extremely unique and very high quality. Alisa assisted me that day and she is absolutely AMAZING - she was patient, kind, fun to work with, understanding and BEYOND helpful. She knew me better than I knew myself! At the very beginning, she asked me what I wanted and made me feel so comfortable in her care. Then she gauged my reaction to each dress I tried on to get a better sense of what I liked and disliked and let me try on my favorites a second time to compare them back to back. I would’ve never found my dress without her. Ruth measured me once I picked out my dress and she was also extremely kind, helpful, and professional. My only disappointment is that I can’t give 10 stars!
Not a warm or welcoming environment. Stylists seem like they dont want to be there, pretty apathetic and not super helpful or excited to help you find your dream dress. Most questions I asked were met with short answers. Compared to other salons Ive been to this was pretty disappointing. Not allowed to look at the dresses yourself. I wouldnt recommend.
I not only found my dream dress here but I also had a wonderful experience. My consultant Alisa was amazing and she is a pro! She selected the most perfect dress Ive ever seen for me. It was like she knew me better than I knew myself. I cried, got chills, all the feels I thought were not real. Aside from being a boss stylist, she is so sweet, patient, and a thoughtful listener. Everyone on staff, made us feel so welcomed and were so enthusiastic throughout the process which feels so nice. My mom and MOH loved everything about the experience as well and they are tough critics. When I said yes to the dress, Alisa made sure to review the contract with us which I appreciated because I know exactly what to expect, when my fittings will be, when I need to plan to pick up the dress and all that good stuff. The salon is beautiful and so clean. The lighting is perfect, very private feel how the space is sectioned, and the whole vibe is very glam. I love the shoes off policy because NYC streets- if you know you know lol. 10/10 I highly recommend this salon for brides seeking a personalized shopping experience with experts.
I cannot begin to recommend Wedding Atelier enough. I said yes to the dress in July thinking I would be having a January Wedding in 2021. Unfortunately, my mom is sick and we decided to move the wedding up to September 12th. My dress would not be ready in time with this change but Wedding Atelier worked with me and gave me the lightly worn Sample of my dress and fit it to my body PERFECTLY. I am so beyond grateful. I felt like a movie star on my wedding day thanks to Wedding Atelier. Everyone I worked with was incredible. Thank you, thank you, thank you!!!!(First two photos by Alexa Drew Photography who I also recommend!)
Initially the customer service was a tad bit off due to covid protocol but once that was handled! Everything was great! The place was clean, and dresses were nice!
I have been to a lot of salons in Manhattan. I quickly learned that the experience is totally dependent on your consultant. I had some consultants that didn’t understand what I was looking for. Then I came to Wedding Atelier and I was so lucky to meet Martuly. She is seriously amazing. She is a real, down to earth person who genuinely asked me about my wedding, partner and vision for my dress. She is amazing!! An absolute professional. She nailed every dress. She made me feel comfortable and answered my questions before I even asked them. The best appointment I had in all of NY. If you go to Wedding Atelier- request MARTULY and you will be set!!!
I had 2 dress appointments at the Wedding Atelier and was guided through them by Riley, who is an amazing consultant and will go out of her way to make sure you find exactly the dress you are looking for. When I finally found what I was looking for, she listened to the vision I had for my final look and made sure that what I wanted out of the dress was at the forefront. Riley made the whole process super easy and basically took care of everything - Can’t wait to go back for my alterations. Can’t recommend coming here enough if you are looking for your wedding dress - and can’t recommend Riley enough.
Bad experience. Consultant barely looked at the pictures I had. Didnt ask about the venue or anything.Dresses were dirty. She didnt even clip the dresses. She was just holding with her hands. Fitting room was tight and seemed like an improvised room. Made me so uncomfortable to be in such a tiny space with that unfriendly consultant. The store needs renovation. Lighting is terrible.
Excellent shop with very professional assistance - Alisa was awesome! I will 100% be buying my dress here.
I highly recommend all brides schedule an apt here! The stylists are extremely experienced, professional and helpful. I’ve been to sooo many salons and usually they don’t spend the time trying to get to know you or your style, and rush you through an appointment - but not here!! My stylist took the time to get to know my style and pulled out dresses that were EXACTLY what I was going for! I fell in love with every single dress but eventually picked the one! Such an enjoyable experience. Cant wait to go back for my fittings!
Mae, the best seamstress & wedding atelier staff made my experience amazing! I would highly recommend to anyone who is looking for comfortable, relaxing & boutique-like atmosphere!! Thank you for everything!
Initially picking out my dress and having the experience was very nice. Private appointment, great selection, clean salon. My dissatisfaction comes from the customer service and follow up after. We had originally talked about adding some fabric to customize the dress a little and there may have been some confusion at first so it didn’t come in with the dress and it was covid so I gave a pass. We discussed shipping my dress in November and I again asked to order the fabric. Dress finally arrived (luckily I had moved my wedding date so it wasn’t an issue it was 3 months late) and I followed up a month or two after to again check on the fabric and it still wasn’t ordered. Albeit I didn’t pay for it, but I have already asked for this extra fabric 2 times so I just assumed I would pay the fee when it came in, or at least hear from them with an order link. I’ll take the responsibility there. But I was always the one following up and checking on status and tracking, even recently when the fabric had come in, we had planned to ship Monday and no tracking information came through so I called Tuesday and it was just shipping and when I asked why, the girls response “I don’t know I wasn’t here” with no intention of even trying to find out why. I’ve worked in the bridal jewelry industry for over 11 years and I am just very disappointed in the service after you buy the dress.
I cannot speak highly enough of Wedding Atelier. Due to Covid, my first and last fitting were over 2 years apart, and they were helpful every step of the way. I shed lots of tears in that studio, and they were all good ones. Weve got this. You go worry about something else. The words every bride wants to hear!
I had a great experience shopping at Wedding Atelier. They had a beautiful selection of dresses. Alisa was my consultant and she really took the time to understand what I was looking for in a dress. She showed me different variations so I could see what worked and what didnt. Once I found the dress, the manager Ruth joined in and helped me make decisions about customizing the dress for my body type. I even got to speak with the designer about the fit! I highly recommend Wedding Atelier
The associate that I had seemed so annoyed with me but I couldn’t tell why. I told her my honest feedback about the dresses and I could tell that she was getting frustrated. The vibes were soo weird and uncomfortable the entire time. I felt like she hated her job. Needless to say, I didn’t find the dress and even if I did I wouldn’t have bought it here after being treated like that. It made my guest uncomfortable too. Would NOT recommend.
We had a great experience at Wedding Atelier. We had a major issue during COVID with the dress we had ordered in January, 2020. We had paid extra to change the skirt to an unfitted skirt to accommodate an insulin pump. It came in with the wrong skirt. My daughter had moved back to Florida and we had to fly back to NY with the dress. The designer from London made a new sketch for us to approve, made the correct skirt and shipped it to NY. Carrie, the owner, incurred the expense of the new skirt and with May, the amazing seamstress, she sewed on the new skirt and the dress was perfect! They made her a beautiful veil to match the dress and we were very happy! Carrie did the right thing to make sure my daughter was happy. We couldn’t be more grateful and highly recommend this store.
Amazing experience with Martuly! She really listened to what I wanted and pulled accordingly, she was such a pleasure to work with and I found my dress on my first visit thanks to Martuly!
I purchased a custom Suzanne Neville gown from Wedding Atelier in early February for my wedding in early September. The shopping experience was fine/average and the sales representative was helpful and kept within my budget. I was told the dress would arrive in early July to allow for three fittings and was encouraged to place the order in February ASAP. In May, I went in to try on veils and my stylist said SN dresses had been arriving early and mine would come in end of June. Weeks went by with 0 communication and after the first week of July (the original expected delivery date) I reached out and was told on July 8, it will arrive in just a few more days. I followed up a few more times and was told its coming with no specific information. Finally, on July 29 I told them I needed to know if and when it was coming because my wedding was one month away. I was prepared to shop for another dress because the lack of information and communication was concerning. They gave me a firm date for Monday August 2 and we set up my first fitting for August 4. I asked if they could reduce the remaining balance for the dress or offer a discount on alterations due to the inconvenience (they also gave me a hard time about overnight shipping to my home even though the dress delay was their fault). The management wouldnt allow that. After many requests and after being pawned off to the owner’s assistant (on her very first day) I finally received an email (no phone call ever) from the salon owner, Carrie. She took absolutely no ownership over the situation, blamed her stylist, blamed her seamstress, and blamed the designer’s team. She attempted to explain away the delay as a production issue in an insulting manor as if I don’t read the news or know about recent developments with Covid-19. The problem is not even that the dress was a month late. It’s that they overpromised and underdelivered on with 0 communication or follow up. I was kept completely in the dark for one of the most important and expensive pieces of clothing I’ll ever buy. Throughout this process, Ive been really respectful and mindful that COVID-19 causes delays. However, timing expectations were set time and time again unrealistically by the salon and stylist and the lack of compassion or customer service from management is astounding. I went elsewhere for alterations even after the stylist threatened I wouldn’t be able to find someone to alter my specific designer (such a lie). Wedding atelier has a flat rate of over $900 for alterations and I went to Alteration Specialists on UES who did it for significantly cheaper and much higher quality. I found a veil elsewhere too (Wedding Atelier’s own line of veils will cost you upwards of $350 for basic ones and they have 0 drop veils available). They have lost roughly $1300 of business from me personally. Also, Im the first of my friends to get married and my two future sister-in-laws are recently engaged and shopping for gowns themselves. I have told them and all my friends about the negative experience and recommended going elsewhere for dresses and alterations. Planning a wedding is a stressful, emotional, and difficult experience and you should not have to worry if or when your very expensive gown is arriving. I do not recommend giving this salon your business. They don’t care at all about their customers and the communication between Carrie the salon owner and the stylists is appalling. I wish I bought my gown from Mark Ingraham, Wedding Salon of Manhasset, or literally anywhere else in the tri-state area.
They run by only appointment and will give you several confirmations before your appointment so very safe and clean. Their sample dresses are in very good condition. Especially Alisa is very knowledgeable and helpful to pick the dress you want. I strongly recommend this place.
This is the premier location to find a wedding dress. The staff are professional, personable, experienced, and listen to your ideas in order to find you the perfect dress. They have an exceptional collection of top designers and possess the knowledge, experience, and training to help you realize your dream dress design. Allison and Lisa were so very helpful and created an atmosphere of comfort & professionalism. The entire experience made the trip to New York fabulous and definitely facilitated those epic words “She said Yes to the Dress!!!”
Beautiful selection of gowns. Highly recommend with great customer service. You will not be disappointed!
Fantastic experience! Alisa was incredibly knowledgeable and pulled great styles, helping me find the perfect shape and cut. Im at the beginning of looking and this really helped me on my way.
I rarely ever write reviews, but wanted to share my experience to help other people who may consider looking for their wedding dress here.TL:DR - Not sure how this place has so many positive reviews. This place had a snobby vibe, clearly churns people in and out, and has very little regard for the experience you have while there. Was stuck with an operations person serving as a stylist because they were short staffed - would have preferred they just cancel the appointment. Wouldnt recommend compared to the great experience I had at Lovely Bride in NYC (havent found my dress yet though).About the Atelier:I showed up as the first appointment of the day (as did a few other brides) and expected them to be more prepared. You fill out a questionnaire before you go, but it was as if none of that mattered. WA was very strict - you are required to take your shoes off and wear paper slippers, and you are not allowed to walk around and look at the dresses. The fitting rooms are teeny. The stylist insists on coming in the fitting room with you - so between large dresses, and two people, there is no room or privacy. To actually see what you look like, you need to parade out into the atelier where other brides and their families will be sizing you up during your appointment. Family and friends are also seated on these super uncomfortable, ottomans that they use as seating.About the Dresses:A lot of the dresses were in poor condition and looked dirty and beat up. Its frustrating that you cant go around and browse yourself given there does seem to be a lot of inventory. They do not have many samples in inclusive sizes (for reference I wear a size 8 in dresses normally, but apparently that limited what I could try on...). The first two dresses that were brought for me to try I couldnt even get on, so they had to go back out. I had no problem fitting in samples at Lovely Bride.About my Stylist:Apparently they were short a stylist and I ended up being paired with their operations person. We started by talking about what I liked and didn’t like, and I was told to keep an open mind. While she said she wanted my honest feedback, and wouldnt take offense if I didnt like a dress, it appeared the opposite happened. She brought bad dress after bad dress, and got increasingly more frustrated and defensive despite my politely telling her why I didnt like them. She also continued to disregard my feedback.Eventually she gave up and said she showed me everything she had based on my preferences, size and budget (which was more than reasonable amount). We then walked around the atelier so she could prove she had tried everything but there were plenty of dresses I did not try. She also recommended I go to a plus sized wedding dress shop so that more samples would fit me.As I was leaving I saw two brides both wearing beautiful dresses I would have loved to try, but wasnt given the chance because my stylist either didnt listen, didnt care or both.
Alisa was attentive, knowledgeable and had great suggestions. She quickly got a sense of what my preferences were and brought dresses for me to try that were right in line with my style, as well as some dresses I might not have picked out on my own but looked great. She was a pleasure to work with. The boutique is a lovely and bright setting to shop.
The best wedding salon in NYC! I am so grateful for their expertise and the quiet, calm shopping and buying experience. Yvette was a dream to work with!
Ive been to at least five bridal salons across Manhattan, and The Wedding Atelier is by far the best one. Riley Gaidica is fantastic. She is a great listener and has an elevated eye. Everything she had me try on I loved; it just kept getting better and better with every dress. I work in the fashion/creative industry and had concerns about finding something for my body type, non-traditional style, and other ceremony concerns. Elsewhere, things that stylists were pulling for me were immediate NOs or only provided meh feelings. However, Riley was able to find ten plus dresses for me without issue! My friends literally teared up. It was a super lovely experience, and I cant recommend The Wedding Atelier enough.
I had a great experience at Wedding Atelier! Riley, the wedding consultant who assisted me did a very good job! We discussed my budget and the style I wanted. I am on the petite side and Riley picked the right dresses for me to try on. I had a really pleasant time at Wedding Atelier! Highly recommend!
My experience at Wedding Atelier was excellent, the staff are very polite and attentive. They made me feel welcome and comfortable.
I had a wonderful experience at Wedding Atelier! My consultant Riley was fantastic- she was patient, kind and picked out dresses that I wouldnt have thought of for myself. I never felt rushed or like she was trying to make a sale, which was refreshing. They have a beautiful selection of dresses and try to keep them in nice condition by making you take your shoes off when you enter. I highly recommend this boutique, and I suggest having some pictures of dresses to show them as a starting point!
I had the most incredible experience working with Riley at Wedding Atelier. The COVID protocols made us feel so safe. We had our own little space and Riley was a dream to work with! She picked up on my style and vibe so quickly and each dress was better than the next - and she picked out the winning dress! I’m excited to continue the process with this wonderful team.
Our stylist Riley was so knowledgeable and helpful! This was my first appointment trying on wedding dresses, and she made sure we weren’t overwhelmed or confused. Great experience!
I had an incredible experience at Wedding Atelier! Alisa worked with me and she had such a strategic and smart approach -- she really listened to what I liked and didnt like about each dress, and I could tell she had factored that in when she would bring me a new option. This approach led us down an interesting path where we got closer and closer to my dress with each step of the way. She was awesome -- patient and supportive!
I had a really amazing experience with Riley today. It was my first appointment and it could not have been better. I got to see not only dresses I had specifically requested but also things I would not have thought of that looked amazing. The experience was safe and comfortable. I look forward to working with them!
Although I fell in love with a dress elsewhere I cannot rave about my appointment with Riley enough. She was professional and warm and pulled gowns that I loved. She was a dream to work with.
Great experience. Attention to detail was immaculate both my consultant Martuly and the wonderful red headed manager were amazing. So personable and straight to the point.
As a COVID bride, wedding planning has been incredibly disheartening but I am so grateful for Chloe and WA management who were so kind, accommodating, and thoughtful at my try-on appointment. I picked out my dress 1.5 years ago and yet Chloe remembered every single detail we had discussed, which made me feel completely at ease. Thank you!!!
The ladies at Wedding Atelier, including Riley, were amazing! I tried other shops but the dress I ended up getting was literally the second dress I tried on here. I had to keep looking to be sure since I had existing appointments and was still somewhat early in the process. My only regret is not coming here first! After a brief consultation, Riley selected dresses that fit my aesthetic, wedding vision, and looked amazing. I cannot say enough nice things about the atmosphere, dresses, and consultants. Thanks to everyone for their help!
Had a wonderful experience trying on gowns with Alisa, she was super attentive, helpful, and caring. She guided me through the process and was patient in listening to my vision. Wedding Atelier has a huge collection of beautiful pieces.
Amazing assistants and a huge selection of different styles of wedding dresses. They took time and when my appointment went long they didn’t rush me out. A true collaboration.
When I first entered the salon, I didn’t feel genuinely welcomed by reception. I didn’t feel comfortable in the space and when my bridesmaids arrived they shared a similar feeling. The woman working the front desk wasn’t rude- she was clinical. It was a greeting more appropriate for a dentist appointment. I wasn’t sure that I wanted to stay in a place that I didn’t feel welcomed in.But then arrived the one and only Martuly. The Wedding Atelier truly found a gem in her! Her presence, professionalism and warmth immediately put me at ease. She called it a styling experience and it really was! She played the perfect music to set the tone. She chose dresses that made my heart flutter and matched all of the things that I asked for. My bridesmaids were also really appreciative of the way she felt like a friend. She even chose a dress that I wouldn’t have chosen for myself but it very may just be the dress! Martuly made this appointment one of -if not the best shopping experience I’ve had thus far.The Wedding Atelier has a beautiful selection of gowns. I think it would be hard to not find your dress here (as long as Martuly is your stylist)!Thank you for such a lovely time!
The staff was so understanding and truly helped me realize my vision, thank you!!
I had an amazing experience at Wedding Atelier. It was my fourth and final stop on my wedding gown journey. Upon entering, I met my saleswoman, Alissa who was kind and immediately put my anxiety at ease. My mom, sister and I were placed in our own section. Alissa listened to my styles and immediately pulled about 6 six gowns that were perfect. I ended up picking a Suzanne Neville dress but did not purchase the day of. One week later, I returned with my mom and met Ruth, Operations Manager. Ruth was excellent, took plenty of time with my mom and me and truly made me feel like a bride!!! We purchased the Suzanne Neville gown that day. I am grateful for my experience at Wedding Atelier. I would highly recommend scheduling an appointmet!
I cannot express just how much I LOVED my experience at Wedding Atelier, there aren’t enough words! I visited the store on 10/12/2020 and from the moment I walked in I felt welcomed and comfortable. As soon as I was greeted by Ruth (salon manager) I knew this is where I was going to find my wedding dress.First of the store is so meticulously clean you could eat off the floor. When you first arrive for your consultation you and your guests are given new slippers to walk around in so you don’t track dirt from outside into the store which keeps the bottom of the dresses clean. The dresses are not hidden in the back or in garment bags, they hang beautifully from the walls where you can easily see their details.Alisa was my consultant and after a detailed conversation about my wedding and what kind of dresses I liked she pulled a few to try on. I honestly could have chosen any of the dresses she picked for me and would have been happy to get married in it. They were all PERFECT. She knew exactly the look I was going for and gave me so many options. She didn’t rush me or make me feel like I was wasting her time. She was the sweetest and most genuine consultant I had worked with thus far. Ruth would come over and asked what I liked or didn’t like from that particular dress and they would go and look for another. When I finally decided on THE ONE they still let me try others to make sure it was the one. They had me try it on one last time before making my decision. I really think I was there way longer than 90 minutes. When I finally said yes to the dress they seemed truly happy for me!! My mom and aunt were there with me and completely agreed that they were both inarguably amazing at their job. We had been to about 5 bridal salons and by far this is where we were treated the best. They went over every detail and answered every question in the contract. When it came to pricing and paying for the dress and veil Ruth went above and beyond.I know this post is long but like I said there aren’t enough words to express how truly amazing and memorable my experience was at Wedding Atelier. Again Alisa and Ruth thank you so much for making this day extra special and for making me feel like the only bride in your store. I can’t wait to return for my fittings and to thank you both again.
Amazing experience, their stylist cater to the specific needs of each bride.
I cannot possibly say enough positive things about my experience at Wedding Atelier. The studio is beautiful and clean. This was my fourth bridal salon (and thankfully last) I visited to try on dresses. Chloe and Carrie went out of their way to make my appointment possible. This tasteful salon made everywhere else I went seem insignificant .
I went to the Wedding Atelier twice! It was the first place I looked for my small wedding then I tried 8 other boutiques in NYC and ended up going back! The service was phenomenal, the dresses beautiful and had multiple styles, and the salon clean. Every single staff member was helpful, from the minute I walked in the door until I left, every fitting. Just phenomenal.
Yvonne was my consultant and was amazingly helpful! She was very patient and gave me plenty of dresses that fit within my vision and budget. It was such a great experience.
I had the most amazing experience working with Martuly Louis. Not only is she incredibly personable but her bridal gown knowledge is unmatched. You will find your dress here and you will find it with Martuly. The store is beautiful and the selection is exquisite. Dont be on the fence. Take the plunge, make the appointment with Martuly and find the dress of your dreams!
This was one of my favorite wedding boutiques Ive ever been to for several reasons. My consultant, Riley, was the number one reason. I entered Wedding Atelier already thinking I had found my wedding dress at a different boutique. I showed her a picture of that dress and told her what I was looking for and what I would change about the dress I had found if possible. It took her about 2 minutes to come back with 5 dresses that had exactly what I was looking for. The first one I tried on was perfect and the one I ended up choosing for the big day. She truly listened and was open to hearing about other boutiques dresses and what I was looking for. She let me take my time trying on each dress and didnt rush me or my guests through our decision. She answered all of my questions clearly and truly was an amazing help. And I cant thank her enough for being the person who found my dream dress. The second reason I loved this place was pricing. A lot of NYC wedding boutiques are pretty expensive. Wedding Atelier had gorgeous, beautiful options, for my price range and probably yours too. Riley listened to my price range from the start and didnt bring me any dresses outside of my range. She made it easy, and when it came time to pay for my dream dress, she even worked with me to help me further by giving me a 1st time buyers discount. Third, Wedding Atelier does all of the alterations at their store - they included this in my final price so that there are no surprises when undergoing alterations as I approach my wedding. Riley walked me through exactly what that process would look like and was flexible to my situation as I will be traveling 2.5 hours for all of my fittings. One thing to be aware of is if you attend Wedding Atelier on the weekend, you need to call the store and press 0 in order for someone to come get you because the building is locked on weekends. Just something to be aware of, but they will inform you of this as you get closer to your appointment. I could go on and on about the amazing consultants, beautiful boutique, and overall perfect experience I had at Wedding Atelier, but hopefully I covered the main points. Good luck to all you brides out there, and if you like what youre reading, please check out Wedding Atelier. You wont be disappointed :)
Wedding Atelier is an amazing place to go! They had beautiful dresses. My Consultant Yvonne was amazing!! It was my first time trying on dresses and I was very nervous. She calmed me down and help me feel right at home and comfortable. Even though I didn’t end up getting my dress here. I’m giving them five stars because of her bed side manor and how well it was organized. I asked to see one dress which they ended up not having and that one dress ended up being my dress in the end I just had to try it on somewhere else.
It’s very COVID safe and the safe was very helpful. She picked out amazing dresses that I couldn’t even possibly find for myself.
Amazing experience!
Wonderful experience from start to finish. My stylist, Martuly, was the greatest pleasure with whom to work, and Lisa and Carrie were also a great help throughout the process as well. I am also thankful to May, who so carefully altered my dress to perfection. I am thankful to the women of WA, whose professionalism made this process actually enjoyable, during a time when most brides were panicking because of the pandemic. (Panic I did, but not over the dress!). Thank you Wedding Atelier!
Chloe Kim was the absolute sweetest! I had to go by myself to our appointment and was missing my mom and best friend and she helped me call them and was just so supportive. The store was gorgeous and calm and everyone was really nice and there was no pressure. I didnt end up buying my dress from there, but Chloe really helped me know what I wanted, and I already recommended other engaged friends go to her and Wedding Atelier. A great experience!
Chloe my salesperson was lovely. But unfortunately the stores itself was not. The store needs a lot of help. And a makeover. We had to ask if many of the dresses were white..when in fact they were but they were so worn down and stained so poorly that the color wasn’t obviously white anymore. The round ottomans that they have your friends/family sit on are painfully stained and so uncomfortable. What you stand on to look in the mirror at your dress is basically a hard piece of foam. I actually texted my friends that I thought the dress shopping experience would be much different as it was not meeting any expectation I had. Which wasn’t very much at all besides expecting white dresses to be white. Oh they also make you put on slippers...I’m not sure why...when you’re putting on brown stained dresses. Fast forward 2 hours to my next appointment at Pronovias. Now THAT is what I expected my wedding dress shopping experience to be like.
I had the most incredible experience at Wedding Atelier! Everyone was so kind and helpful. They were able to accommodate me I was choosing between two dresses. Yvonne and Ruth helped me so much in making my decision and I am forever grateful for everything that they did. Wedding Atelier carries a variety of gowns and designers, their salon is so beautiful and clean, and every person I spoke with was so hospitable. I am so excited for my wedding dress to come in to really get this process going!
Rachel and her whole staff are just the most wonderful people to work with! She is so warm and kind, and made my whole group (it was quite large haha!) feel so welcome when we first came in to try on dresses. I never even went anywhere else. They were incredible from start to finish! They even helped me with alterations to my rehearsal dinner dress, and both dresses fit like gloves by the time they were done with them. Thank you all for being such a wonderful part of our wedding experience!!!
Such a wonderful experience! After many many salons and appointments, I was getting a little lost in what I was looking for. But when I got to Wedding Atelier, my consultant Chloe was super attentive and knew just how to guide me to find the perfect dress!!! Even the manager Lisa was amazing at helping me find solutions to a few customizations I wanted to make. Everyone made the whole experience very enjoyable for myself and my family. Would highly recommend!
I had a wonderful experience at Wedding Atelier! My stylist Riley was incredible- easy going, efficient, objective, and she pulled the perfect combination of options that I found my dress at our first appointment and decided a week later without visiting any other bridal salons. Highly recommend!!!
I haven’t decided on a dress just yet but I loved this place! We’ve been to 4 different dress stores so far and Wedding Atelier was by far the best experience. My bridal consultant was Riley and she was AMAZING. Once she got the idea of what I was looking for, she hit the nail on the head with every dress she brought in. She was extremely nice but was actually listening and processing my wants and needs. This was huge for me bc the last couple of places we went to, the consultants were either not getting it or didn’t have much to work with. Other than our consultant, Wedding Atelier had a great selection of dresses, everyone we interacted with was very kind and the place itself was very modern looking and clean
When shopping for my wedding gown, I went to 3 places with wedding atelier being my last stop. I was recommended to them by a coworker who raved about her experience. She was completely right - they give you a private experience and are extremely professional in how they handle everything. For my appointment, they reviewed what types of dresses I was interested in and showed me plenty of gowns that fell in line with what I was looking for. Once I purchased my dream gown, they kept me up to date with when my gown would be in and helped with scheduling all fittings. In the fittings they guided all adjustments, taking as much time as needed to ensure everything fit beautifully! I’m thrilled I chose to purchase my gown from them and would recommend them to any bride looking for their wedding dress.
I didn’t wind up getting my dress here but it was the best shopping experience I had! Chloe was absolutely helpful and fun. She targeted exactly the types of dresses I was looking for and made the experience enjoyable. She was able to quote me significant discounts on several dresses, but in the end they just didn’t have my dress. Highly recommend!
Love love loved my experience! My stylist Riley helped me pick out the perfect dress and I couldnt be any happier. Everyone there is super nice and I love their policies they abide by. It was my first bridal appointment and I knew I would find my dress there!
Although I did not end up getting my wedding dress from this salon, I had a fantastic experience here. The salon itself is gorgeous and not overwhelmingly crowded like others. Riley in particular was knowledgeable, completely on my side, stayed within budget, and truly seemed like cared. I had two other appointments that day in NYC, and this one was by far the best.
My consultant Riley was incredible to work with. Extremely detail-oriented and adapted quickly to understand my style. And also, so fun and sweet!
Love. love. love this bridal salon and the team.As soon as you walk into the space you feel a sense of comfort. Everyone is so polite and friendly. I had the pleasure of working with Riley and she is AMAZING, she is patient and open minded and makes sure to listen to everything you have to say, while opening your eyes to other options you would never think of. At my initial appointment I thought I had found the dress but had doubts about purchasing it and Riley made sure to make time for me to come in again, make sure I was comfortable with my decision and find my dream dress. Lisa, the store manager was also very attentive and friendly and made time to sit with me to make sure we were all on the same page.I noticed in some of the reviews there was some negative feedback about weekend appointments and having to take off shoes. When you sign up for your first appointment it clearly states in the confirmation email that there is a set time limit to each appointment - obviously there will be higher volume of people in the salon during the weekends, but regardless of it being busy - each consultant made sure each bride had a comfortable space along with their guests. With regard to taking off shoes, I think it makes complete sense - these are expensive gowns and the salon wants to make sure everything is in pristine condition so that each bride can have that high quality experience. the place is spotless.Would highly recommend Wedding Atelier to any bride and would definitely recommend Riley if you have no idea what type of dress you are looking for.
I had a great experience at Wedding Atelier. The service was amazing - the entire staff is super nice and helpful. The selection of gowns is great. They have a lot of the designers you would find in the high end department stores plus some unique brands that only they carry. They offer a range of price points and really work with brides to make them happy. Would recommend to any bride
The store is small and intimate which I appreciate. It’s not overwhelming because of how many people are in the store. My stylist Yvonne was fantastic. I told her what I was looking for and she exceeded my expectations, and I was able to find my dress! The manager Lisa was also fantastic and helped out with the final details. Everyone was very helpful and personable and I 100% recommend.
Although I did not purchase my dress here, I had such an amazing experience. The space was gorgeous, filled with many dresses and accessories to choose from. Daisy was such a pleasure to work with. She was super friendly and you can tell she was very experienced. I would recommend this place and Daisy especially to anyone looking for a wedding dress.
I had an amazing experience at Wedding Atelier. My Bridal Stylist, Chloe, was extremely helpful and experienced. The appointment was relaxed but also efficient and I felt like they really cared about helping me find the perfect dress. I would highly highly recommend making a visit to Wedding Atelier!
I work in the fashion industry and specifically dresses. I am NOT an easy customer. After shopping around I made an appointment at Wedding Atelier. When I arrived I was relieved to find it was by no means a “wedding factory”. Besides having the most amazing selection of dresses their bridal consultants are the best in the industry. Alyson made me so incredibly comfortable. She pulled the dresses that I requested as well as some of her personal recommendations. After purchasing my dress (one of Alyson recommendations) my mother still randomly tells me she can’t believe how I found “me as a dress”. Their alteration team (May) is also amazing. At my second fitting I told them I want to remove a tulle underskirt (something I thought would be a big deal). They told me absolutely no problem and made the proper adjustments. Through this entire process Alyson has been an email/phone call away. Updating me on the status of my dress. Answering my random questions and checking in on fittings. Wedding Atelier is by far the best in the business. Just go there you will be happy.
I had such a wonderful experience. Marnie was my salesperson and she could not have been more helpful. She listened to everything I said and directed me towards all of the right dresses. She was patient and enthusiastic! I ended up saying YES to the dress! The manager Lisa was also such a great help! She and Marnie were the best. I cannot wait to come back for my first fitting. Thank you all so so much!
From booking and confirming my appointment to purchasing my dress, my family and I had a wonderful experience at Wedding Atelier. I wanted to try on a specific dress and they were so helpful in getting the dress in so that I could try it on. The salon is beautiful, quiet, intimate, and private and the gowns are gorgeous. The staff were lovely, helpful, and really encouraging. I purchased my dress as part of a trunk show so had the opportunity to chat with the designer about her vision and how to accessorize the gown which was really special. Cant recommend Wedding Atelier enough! It was by far our favorite of the bridal salons we visited.
The person that I had was terrible. She was rushing us and just did not know what I wanted, even though I told her my preferences. After a few dresses, she was just like “that’s all the dress I could think of” or “that’s it”. She looks bored and didn’t seem excited at all, like she was done with our appointment.
Our experience with Wedding Atelier was exceptional in every way! Beginning with the selections of gowns which were the best of any salon we went to (9 total!). Our saleswoman Yvonne is amazing. She zeroed in quickly on what my daughter’s vision was and found the perfect gown. Her elegance and extensive experience were apparent. She also attended two of the fittings even though she was not working on those days. In addition we had in depth and personal experiences with Managers Ruth and Lisa as the gown became a custom order. They were incredible and their attention to detail was impressive. The gown is absolutely perfect and stunning. This is the best salon in NYC!
Riley was warm and helped me fulfill my vision. This experience could not have been easier. One stop shop for the perfect wedding dress.Update: When it came to the actual dress delivery, my final experience with the salon left much to be desired. The dress came a day late and was just left on my doorstep in the rain although I had paid for next-day, signature upon delivery (I didn’t even get a tracking number). This is where the customer service experience truly frayed. Having spent thousands of dollars on a wedding dress I expected a little more commitment to ensuring a satisfying and reliable gown-buying experience. Instead the salon just blamed FedEx for the whole delivery snafu and abrogated all responsibility despite being the ones that sent out the dress pass the last pick off for the day. Overall the lack of communication and the dismissive attitude of management would not make me recommend this salon as the customer service experience fell far too short of the price of the dress.
Really upset about how this appointment went. When I met the associate that was going to help me find my dress I felt like when she asked me what I was looking for, she understood all my desires. 15 minutes into the appointment after I tried on my first dress, and said no, her attention and care was pretty much done then. I asked her to see if she can bring me other options and she left me for 20 minutes, stranded in a 10 pound dress, only to come back with one option for me. Is this how you pride yourself in treating soon to be brides after they tell you theyre budget is close to $10,000? Will never recommend this place to anyone, sorry.
Chloe was the best. She listens really hard on what youre looking for and explains each dress thoroughly. She will help you understand how each dress is different and how it can be great on you. I went to multiple boutiques for weeks and found my dress here!!! Im super happy with my experience and dress here. Thank you so much Chloe and Team!
Why Wedding Atelier? Simple. They care not only about their client’s needs but also keeping their dresses pristine! From the moment you walk into their boutique, you’re asked to take your shoes off which keeps all the gowns clean. Just like you own home — you are comfortable, taken care of, greeted with friendly faces and smiles. Wedding Atelier was the fourth bridal salon that my parents and I had gone to. As a 40-year-old bride I knew exactly what I wanted. Immediately, their bridalexpert got to know ME as a person she asked genuine questions that made me feel like she actually cared which is why she was able to find my beautiful Wedding Gown. Wedding Atelier knows exactly what to do, from blusher, veil, hoop, heel height and even alterations which are right in the boutique. They keep the alteration room open at all times too — so fun to look at behind the scenes! Just book your first appointment here. You’ll save yourself so much time and energy! Thank YOU Wedding Atelier!
