I really cant say enough about Marisa Perry Atelier. After tons and tons of research, my husband and I decided to check out MPs adorable shop in hopes of finding a new wedding band set. Mila (THE QUEEN) helped us navigate our way around the store and different options in the most casual and helpful way I could ever imagine.Once we were set on bands, Mila went through her process of showing us stones next to one another to determine our personal preferences in terms of the Cs that were most visible to us personally. She explained that most people have specific preferences with regards to these categories, and really that most people dont need perfect across the board: just find what looks most beautiful to you. I should note Mila did all of this without us even asking, it was just part of her normal motions of helping people find something that they will cherish for the rest of their lives.Never once did we feel pressured, never once did we feel like we were getting a bad deal, or that we were being misled in any way. We were incredibly fortunate to have worked with Mila to bring our dream engagement ring to life. From the moment we reached out to inquire about an appointment via email to even after we received the ring, Mila has been incredibly professional, knowledgeable, thoughtful, patient, and kind. While we were able to meet in person at the Atelier for our initial appointment (yes, you are greeted with bubbly !), the rest of it we had to do remotely (due to being out of state). Mila was responsive and kept us updated during each step. She encouraged us to try different rings to make sure we nailed down exactly what we wanted, and once we decided on a cut, she picked 3 beautiful diamond options for us to pick from. Since we had to do this remotely, she provided great guidance on how we could maximize our budget based on factors that were important to us, answered all of our questions, and also sent multiple videos. My now husband got my engagement ring here and had a great experience with Mila! I went and had the ring re-sized and it was done super quick. After that, we got our wedding bands done. My husband got a custom made one that was super unique and we worked with Marisa and Douglas to make our vision come to life. I wanted my band to sit flush with my engagement ring so they re-did my ring to ensure that would happen! We stayed past closing so after that, Marisa the owner DROVE US HOME which was just above and beyond. I dont think I can say enough kind words about Nesrine and the team at MP. Cant write enough good things!! We were visiting in town from Columbus and from the moment we stepped into the shop, the entire staff was amazing. We were specifically looking for thin bands with fine detail and they do this excellently. First visit, we had an idea of what we wanted but werent entirely sure. Jayne helped us narrow it down and schedule an appointment. She was so helpful and made a somewhat intimidating process way less stressful. On our second visit, Jayne selected some beautiful diamonds, all within our price range and specs, and put together a few beautiful rings to choose from. We spent a week making sure it was what we wanted (they were more than patient) and then purchased. The process from purchase to receipt was seamless with Jayne continually keeping in contact and providing updates. We ended up also purchasing a custom necklace as we were just so happy with the customer service and quality of work!Overall, for a high end shop to make us feel so special, cared for, and valued even during a pandemic and smaller budget ($5k) is a huge testament to how well Jayne and the rest of the staff treat their customers. My fiancée had found a ring (the Rosie ring) on the Marisa Perry site that she thought was beautiful. We went to their place in WV and it was great from start to finish. Nesrine was super helpful in showing what we wanted but also provided options just to be sure that nothing else caught our eye. We had a total of three (maybe four?) appointments to go through ring options, diamond options and then to finalize our decision. It was really the easiest process. Every item weve gotten at Marisa Perry has been absolutely stunning! My fiance got my engagement ring here and it was such and incredible piece we came back and bought our wedding rings here. Marisa Perry Atelier is a leader in New York City for Engagement Rings. They do beautiful micro pave work and their craftsmanship is the best in the business. I have a personal relationship with this business and work closely with the designer Douglas Elliott. Douglas is one of the most passionate and talented designers I know and cares so much about diamonds and making sure his customers get the right diamonds. He drives a hard bargain in that he will only accept the most beautiful diamonds for his designs but is an absolute pleasure to work with.

This is a small, intimate, boutique, jeweler offering unique and custom-designed diamonds, engagement rings, and other designs. This is not at all like a Tiffanys, where the sales staff will show you your special diamond, make the sale, then go back into the drawer for one of the other 5,000 identical special diamonds and say next to the following person in line.Friendly, caring, patient staff here will assist you to get precisely what you want, even if you dont have a clue. Marisa was amazing, helping us pick out the right ring. Never did I feel she was trying to sell us on something we didnt want. She was also a great conversationalist. Everyone there is awesome. Got my engagement ring here last year. 18k rose gold, round cut, halo, pave, 1.5mm band. Received ssssoooo many compliments from people, even strangers. A Tiffanys sales representative in Toronto asked me where I got my ring and thought it was from Tiffanys New York, and proud to say it was from a boutique mom and pop shop in West Village.

If I must get a ring, I told my significant other, it better be vintage and have a story. He scoured the Internet but not being an expert with antique engagement rings, he did the sensible thing and looked for a jeweler who could capture the look and feel of that era. The first time we walked into Marisa Perry and said 1940s, a glass case was unlocked and two stunning pieces extracted. Mila was patient, open-minded, and supportive throughout the Goldilocks decision making process, which spanned multiple appointments as we looked to customize. We never felt pressured and it was special, learning from Douglas and Mila the original inspiration behind the pieces, the technical specs and the process. A true artisanal experience and product.

This place has gorgeous jewelry and a staff that bends over backwards to please to quote my fiance! My diamond studs and my engagement ring came from here. My friend was looking for an engagement, but was concerned about buying a stone produced in an unethical way. I recommended Marisa Perry to her because I know they only carry conflict-free stones. Mila helped us in the store - she understood our concerns and told us all about the Forevermark diamonds sold at the store. They are traced directly from the diamond mines. She told us that not only would we be refusing to buy a conflict stone, but we would also be supporting the communities of people who live around the mines where the Marisa Perry stones are sourced from. I was very impressed with how competent and informed the sales representatives were at the store. My friend bought her ring there and I will be returning myself!
